(PbCaSr)(TiMnSb)$O_3$ 세라믹스를 이용한 두께진동모드 적층 압전 변압기의 전기적 특성 (The Electrical Properties of Thickness Vibration Mode Multilayer Piezoelectric Transformer using (PbCaSr)(TiMnSb)$O_3$ Ceramics)

  • In this study, low temperature sintering multilayer piezoelectric transformer for DC-DC converter were manufactured using (PbCaSr)Ti(MnSb)$O_3$ ceramics and thin their electrical properties were investigated according to the vanation of frequency and load resistance. The voltage step-up ratio of multilayer piezoelectric transformer showed the maximum value m the vicinity of 1.3MHz and increased according to the increase of load resistance. When the output impedance coincided with the load resistance, the piezoelectric transformer showed the temperature rise of about $21^{\circ}C$ under the output power of 6W.

  • $BiNbO_4$ ceramics with 0.06wt% CuO, 0.1wt% $V_{2}O_{5}$ sintered at $900^{\circ}C$. The strip line chip filter has been design and fabricated by screen printing with silver electrode after tape casting. The characteristics of the fabricated filters were compared with the simulated results. In the strip line chip filter, insertion loss value of band pass width was 3.65[dB] and return loss was 8.9[dB] and center frequency was similar that simulation results.

  • Multilayer step down piezoelectric transformers were manufactured using PZN-PMN-PZT and PMN-PNN-PZT ceramics respectively. Sintering temperature of the ceramics was $940^{\circ}C$. And then. their electrical properties were investigated according to the variations of frequency and load resistance. The voltage step-up ratio of multilayer piezoelectric transformer showed the maximum values in the vicinity of 69 and 71kHz, respectively. At the load resistance of $100{\Omega}$, the piezoelectric transformers showed the temperature rises of about 21 and $18^{\circ}C$ at the output power of 15W and 18W, respectively. At the transformer with high effective electromechanical coupling factor($k_{eff}$), lower temperature increase was appeared.

금속/세라믹 계면 물성 분석 (Metal/ceramic Interface Mechanical Property Analysis)

  • The flexural strength from 3-point bend test and fatigue properties were measured to evaluate mechanical properties of metal/ceramic interface of the multilayer ceramic package produced through tape casting. From the results, the specimens with three electrode layers showed the highest strength. The temperature distribution with time during thermal cycle and thermal stresses with the change of electrode's shape have been estimated by mathematical modelling. Specimen affected by thermal shock, produced microcracks by the difference of thermal expansion coefficient. The results of tensile test and fatigue test showed the rupture at pin. The fact that the pin brazed specimens were always fractured at the pin proved the good bonding condition between pin and electrode.

  • Tape casting and lamination were used to produce heterogeneous laminates with alternating layers of different porosity and homogeneous laminates with component layers of the same porosity. The pore structure was investigated for heterogeneous laminates, and bend strength was measured for comparison with that of homogeneous laminates. For a reference, strength measurement was made for the porous body fabricated by sintering samples dry-pressed at low pressure with spray-dried granules. Strength increase, in the range 50~120 MPa, was achieved in the presence of the surface dense layer, while extensive delamination, presumably responsible for enhanced fracture toughness, took place through the internal porous layer.

Microwave Dielectric Properties of Oriented BN / Polyvinyl Butyral Matrix Composites

  • The effects of an amphiphilic agent and the orientation of BN on the microwave dielectric properties of BN / polyvinyl butyral (PVB) composites were investigated as a function of the BN content in volume fractions from 0.1 to 0.5 ($V_f$). The plate-shaped BN samples were oriented in the PVB matrix by physical processes, in this case tape casting and laminate methods. With an increase in the BN content, the dielectric constant (K) increased because the K of BN was higher than that of the PVB. At the same BN content, composites with an in-plane orientation of the BN showed a higher dielectric constant than that of composites with a transverse orientation of the BN because the ceramics were oriented parallel to the electric field. All of the composites showed nearly constant K values ranging from 1 to 9.4 GHz, indicating good frequency stability over a wide frequency range. At the same frequency, the K values of the composites increased with an increase in the BN content.

  • 본 논문에서는 epoxy bonding film의 phenoxy resin의 함량변화에 따른 특성 변화에 대하여 연구하였다. epoxy bonding film은 미세패턴 구현을 위해서 사용되는 기판재료로써 epoxy, hardener, silica, phenoxy resin 등이 첨가되어진다. phenoxy resin 함량을 변화를 주면서 tape casting 방법을 통해서 flim 형성을 한 후, 제작된 film의 phenoxy resin 함량변화에 따른 조도 특성의 연구를 위해서 sweller, desmear 공정을 후 RA(Roughness Average)를 측정하고, SEM으로 표면을 관찰하였다. 또한 제작된 bonding film을 가열 가압 후 구리 도금공정을 거쳐 peel strength를 측정하였다. phenoxy resin 함량이 증가 할수록 RA가 증가되어지는 것이 관찰되어졌고, 또 한 peel strength 증가하였다.

Comparison of the Power Consumption between the Ceramic and Wire Bonding Packaging Methods for Solid State Electrochemical Carbon dioxide Sensors

  • Tape casting ceramics technology has been adopted for the fabrication of solid state electrochemical $CO_2$ sensors and the packaging substrates. The fabricated $CO_2$ sensors exhibit a fast response and a good recovery with the almost theoretical sensitivity of 37 mV/decade, corresponding to a sensor operating temperature of 373 K. The two packaging methods, the wire bonding package and the surface- mounted on the ceramic package, were compared with respect to their power consumption and mass production feasibility. In terms of the ease of fabrication, the surface mount packaging technology is superior to the wire bonding technology but its power consumption is approximately twice that of the wired package.

유기 용매 혼합비에 따른 슬러리의 유동 특성과 세라믹 그린 쉬트의 두께 제어 (Effect of Solvent Mixture Ratio on Rheology Property of Slurry and Thickness Control of Ceramic Green Sheets)

  • The effect of organic solvent mixture ratio on the rheology property of slurry and thickness control of ceramic green sheet was investigated. For selecting a suitable dispersant multiple light scattering method was used to evaluate the particle migration velocity and variation of clarification layer thickness. Using the selected dispersant the dispersion property of solution according to solvent mixture ratio was investigated. Binder and plasticizers were added to formulate slurries and their viscosity was evaluated according to solvent mixture ratio. Ceramic green sheets with average thickness of 30, 50 urn were fabricated via tape casting and their thickness tolerances measured. As a result according to solvent mixture ratio the solution and slurry properties varied and for the mixture ratio of ethanol/toluene of 80/20 the ceramic green sheet with the lowest thickness tolerance was obtained.

고방열 특성을 갖는 복합체 시트의 제조와 그 특성 (Preparation and Characteristics of the Excellent Heat-releasing Composite Sheet Containing AlN and Graphite Powder)

  • In this paper, heat-releasing composite sheets made of AlN, graphite, Al powder and acryl binder as thermoset were prepared using tape casting method. The crystal structure, morphology, thermal conductivity of heat-releasing composite sheet were measured by using X-ray diffractometer, field emission-scanning electron microscopy and laser flash instrument. It was found thermal conductivity of sheet was decided by solid content, composition including AlN, graphite, Al in heat-releasing composite sheets. As a result, 4.56 W/mK of thermal conductivity could be obtained by using LFA 447.
