  • 표 질의응답은 반-정형화된 표 데이터에서 질문에 대한 답을 찾는 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 한국어 표 질의응답을 위한 표 데이터에 적합한 TAPAS를 이용한 언어모델 사전학습 방법과 표에서 정답이 있는 셀을 예측하고 선택된 셀에서 정확한 정답의 경계를 예측하기 위한 표 질의응답 모형을 제안한다. 표 사전학습을 위해서 약 10만 개의 표 데이터를 활용했으며, 텍스트 데이터에 사전학습된 BERT 모델을 이용하여 TAPAS를 사전학습한 모델이 가장 좋은 성능을 보였다. 기계독해 모델을 적용했을 때 EM 46.8%, F1 63.8%로 텍스트 텍스트에 사전학습된 모델로 파인튜닝한 것과 비교하여 EM 6.7%, F1 12.9% 향상된 것을 보였다. 표 질의응답 모델의 경우 TAPAS를 통해 생성된 임베딩을 이용하여 행과 열의 임베딩을 추출하고 TAPAS 임베딩, 행과 열의 임베딩을 결합하여 기계독해 모델을 적용했을 때 EM 63.6%, F1 76.0%의 성능을 보였다.

Hypoglycemic Activities of a Mangrove Plant Rhizophora apiculata Blume

  • The leaves of Rhizophora apiculata, a plant belonging to the family Rhizophoraceae were collected from the mangrove forest of Sunderbans, West Bengal, India. Alcoholic extract of the leaves of this plant was prepared and hypoglycemic/anti-hyperglycemic activity was studied in fed rats, glucose loaded rats and streptozotocin induced diabetic rats. The results of this study reveal that this plant extract has potential hypoglycemic action.

  • A new species of marine Halacaridae, Copidognathus laevisetosus is recorded from Yeongdeok coast, Korea. In morphological aspects, the present new spe챠es is closely related to C. koreanus Chatterjee and Chang. Morphological similarities and dissimilarities between them are discussed. Copidognathus cerberoideus Bartsch is reported here for the first time from Korea and away from its type locality.

  • In Jungian psychology, creation myths regard as the story of unconscious and preconscious processes(projection of archaic identity) which describe not necessary the origin of our cosmos, but the origin of man's conscious awareness of the world. Therefore projections have nothing to do with matter itself but experience of one's own unconscious. Jung emphasizes importance to understand projection in individual's conscious experience rather than in philosophical doctrine. The purpose of this thesis is to explore unconscious process of creation myths with egg symbolism in clinical cases to present universal feature of Cosmic/alchemical egg. Psychologically, creation myths retold when human mind needs new order. Depending on the attitude of ego, it can be sudden expansion of consciousness or contamination of ego by unconscious. In this study, 'chaos(messa confusa)' in creation myths as archaic identity, experience of uroboros or infant, and nigredo state in alchemy. 'Separation of primordial parents' as beginning of consciousness refers to separatio operation in alchemical process. 'Light' as attainment of consciousness. Discussion of psychological meaning of egg starts with amplification which include the concept of cosmic/alchemical/philosophical egg. Egg symbolism in this study refers to emergence of egg, tapas/brooding of egg, and separation of egg. Emergence of egg as a state of preconscious totality, psychic wholeness conceived as the thing which came before the rise of ego consciousness. Discussion of conceptssuch as Shiva bindu, hiranyagharba, germ of gold, Tathāgatagarbha follows. 'Tapas/brooding of egg' as concentration of all psychic energy into one point for self reflection. Discussion includes The I Ching Hexagram 61, image of brooding egg identified with inner truth, Wonhyo's concept of jikwansasang, and Gnostic idea of Ennoia, introverted act of thinking, as well as the concept of 'Night Sea Journey'. 'Separation or hatching of egg' regarded as the idea of sudden illumination, Phanes, the shining God, and "sun-point," in alchemy. Birth of fledgling as birth of new personality. As a conclusion, psychological meaning of cosmic egg/creation myths is the story of separating from 'Not-I'(unconscious, object, undifferentiated) to 'I'(ego, subject, differentiated) which shares the same meaning as individuation process.

Halacaridae (Acari) from Thailand: One New and Two Known Species of the Genus Copidognathus Trouessart

  • Three halacarid species belonging to the genus Copidognathus are recorded from the shallow subtidal sands at Ko Taenae Islet (sand dune) off Ko Pha-Ngan Island, Thailand: Copidognathus thailandicus n. sp., C. euryalus Bartsch, 1997 and C. orarius Otto, 2001. Copidognathus thailandicus n. sp. comes close with C. cribrosoma (Police, 1909) and C. cribellus Bartsch, 1993 due to dorsal plates completely covered with rosette pores. Dissimilarities among them are discussed. Copidognathus euryalus and C. orarius are recorded hove for the first time from Thailand and away from its type locality. The present paper is also the first contribution on the taxonomy of Halacaridae (Acari) from Thailand.

Anti-inflammatory Activity of Detoxified Bacterial Strains in Wistar Rats

  • A mixture of several detoxified bacterial strains ($Sterodin^{(R)}$) has been studied for anti-inflammatory effect in Wistar rats on carrageenin, dextran and prostaglandin $E_1$ ($PGE_1$) induced edema in acute model and cotton pellet and carrageenin induced sub-acute model, while, Freund's adjuvant induced chronic model. The bacterial strains showed strong inhibitory activity in acute, sub-acute and chronic models of inflammation. Further, it reduced ${\alpha}1$ acid glycoprotein and ${\alpha}2$ macroglobulin levels in serum and prostaglandin $E_2$ in inflamed paw. These results indicated that the bacterial strains probably act through prostaglandin mediatory pathways and may be useful in treatment of inflammation.

  • In order for vitamin D to be active, it needs to get metabolized to 1, 25 (OH)$_2$D3. This active metabolite of vitamin D induces epithelial cell differentiation and is antiproliferative. However, at the efficacious concentration, the natural ligand for VDR is hypercalcemic and toxic to cells. Therefore, numerous analogs have been synthesized with the hope of generating a compound that retains vitamin D activity and is non-toxic.(omitted)
