  • In this paper, we implement an Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem(ECC) processor for DTCP. Because DTCP(Digital Transmission Content Protection) uses GF(p), where p is a 160-bit prime integer, we design a scalar multiplier based on GF(p). The scalar multiplier consists of a modular multiplier and an adder. The multiplier uses montgomery algorithm which is implemented with CSA(Carry-save Adder) and CLA(Carry-lookahead Adder). Our new scalar multiplier has been synthesized using Samsung 0.18 um CMOS technology and the maximum operation frequency is estimated 98 MHz, with the size about 65,000 gates. The resulting performance is 29.6 kbps, that is, it takes 5.4 msec to process a 160-bit data frame. We assure that this performance is enough to be used for digital signature, encryption/decryption, and key exchanges in real time environments.

  • This paper describes a high speed interface using redundant multi-valued logic for high speed communication ICs. This circuit is composed of encoding circuit and decoding circuit. Because of the multi-valued data conversion, this circuit makes it possible to achieve higher operating speeds than that of a conventional binary logic. Using this logic, a 1:4 DEMUX (demultiplexer) was designed using a 0.35um standard CMOS technology. Proposed circuit is achieved an operating speed of 4.5Gb/s with a supply voltage of 3.3V and with power consumption of 53mW.

  • 이 논문은 도로의 침수를 방지하기위하여 집주정 스틸 그레이팅의 설계 방안을 검토하였다. 현재 사용되고 잇는 스틸 그레이팅은 단지 모양만을 고려하여 사용하고 있으며, 차량 하중 등에 대한 고려를 하지 않고 있다. 따라서, 도로설계시 반드시 하중에 대한 검토와 도로표준시방서 등의 검토해야 한다.

  • This study concerns the cement-solidification/stabilization of the waste with high concentration heavy metals. Compressive strength and leaching test of heavy metals were evaluated for ing types of cements and the effect of the additives of Hauyne clinker and slag were also cussed. Using ordinary portland cement, rapid hardening portland cement and the cement with additives solidification materials, it shows that the strength and stability of concrete is satisfactory and superiority is in the order of rapid hardening portland cement > the cement with additives > nary portland cements.

  • Air-breathing polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) are highly promising particularly for small-power applications up to tens watts class. A distinctive feature of the air-breathing PEMFC is its simple system configuration in which axial fans operate for dual purposes, supplying both oxidant and coolant in a single manner. In the present study, a nominal SOW air-breathing PEMFC system is developed and investigated to determine the optimal operating strategy through parametric studies (i.e., reactant humidity, and fan-blowing flow rate). The cell voltage distributions are examined as a function of time to evaluate the system performance under various operating conditions.

권총의 최대반동력 측정 시스템 구축 (Establishment of The System for Checking Peak Recoil Force in a Pistol)

  • The peak recoil force in a pistol have an effect on the reliability of the frame and target shooting. The experimental system has been established for measurement of the peak recoil force, which consists of force and velocity sensors, high speed camera. For effective operation of the system, a software has also developed, and combined with the hardwares. Several pistols have been tested and compared quantitatively on the peak recoil force and impact energy. It is concluded that the established system can be utilzed for checking peak force, and data accumulation for new pistol design.

  • 본 논문은 고속선에서 전차선 귀선전류를 측정하여 UM71-C 궤도회로의 유지보수를 향상하고자한다. KTX 36호에 구축된 차상 검측시스템 중 귀선전류 검측시스템에서 레일 좌/우에 흐르는 전차선 귀선전류 및 레일 간의 귀선전류 차를 검측하여 불평형 상태를 비교 및 분석하였다. 이러한 결과는 궤도회로 설비들에 대한 구성요소의 기능저하를 사전 예측하여 열차의 안전운행을 확보하기 위한 자료로 활용하고, 또한 검측시스템에서 얻어진 데이터들과 비를 통해 향후 유지보수에 활용 가능한 지침 및 분석기준을 마련하고자 한다.

  • The rise throughput and the stability in fabrication of device can be obtained by applying of CMP process to STI structure in 0.18um semiconductor device. To employ in STI CMP, the reverse moat process has been added thus the process became complex and the defects were seriously increased. Removal rates of each thin films in STi CMP was not equal hence the devices must to be effected, that is, the damage was occured in the device dimension in the case of excessive CMP process and the nitride film was remained on the device dimension in the case of insufficient CMP process than these defects affect the device characteristics. We studied the current sensing method in STI-CMP with the reverse moat pattern.
