A new method to reduce the computation time in power/ground-plane analysis is proposed. The existing method using the two dimensional infinite series summation take a lot of computation time. The proposed method is based on the approximation of impedance in the frequency domain through the Mobius transform. This method shows the good accuracy and the high speed in computing. In the case of impedance calculation for 9'x4' board, the proposed method takes 0.16 second of computing time whereas the existing method takes 2.2 second. This method can be applied to the analysis and design of power/ground-plane that need a lot of computation steps.

New phase-energization strategies are proposed to minimize torque ripple of closed-loop controlled 2-phase Bifilar Hybrid step motors. Lead angle and conduction angles are important parameters in minimizing torque ripple factors. The phase-energization control strategy that minimizes torque ripples for the given average torque is proposed. In this paper, Fourier series are applied to produce the average torque. The strategy is performed by controlling both lead angle and conduction angle of the input voltage wave-form for each phase.

본 논문에서는 T-DMB 시스템의 단일 주파수 망 구성을 위해 궤환신호 제거기를 가지는 등화형 OCR (Equalization On-Channel Repeater, E-OCR)을 제안한다. 제안된 OCR은 송/수신 안테나의 충분치 못한 분리도로 인해 야기된 궤환신호를 궤환간섭 제거기를 통해 제거하여 송신출력을 높일 뿐만 아니라, 송신기와 중계기 사이의 다중경로 신호를 등화기를 통해 제거하여 우수한 출력신호 품질을 보장한다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 전산실험을 통해 제안된 OCR의 성능을 살펴보고 실험실 테스트를 통해 실제 구현된 OCR의 성능을 검증한다.

The Coleoptera is one of the most species-rich order of animals, adapted to most terrestrial and freshwater aquatic habitats. Among them, the mulberry longicom beetle, Apriona germari Hope, is widely distributed in eastern Asia and became one of the major pests of mulberry tree in Korea. To obtain genetic information on the mulberry longicorm beetle, we have constructed cDNA library from the larvae whole-body. Here, we report Apriona germari ESTs profiles determined the 5'most end of 3072 clones. (omitted)

This thesis focuses on how the dancing suit frequently used in the Korean royal court has been chronologically changed to that of the modern times. It also aims at how the implicit symbols shown in the royal court dancing suit are related to the traditional concepts and thoughts on Lunar-Solar-Five-Natural-Elements(Eum-Yang-Oh-Haeng). The results of this thesis are as follows. In the historical period of Koryo dynasty, the Buddhists religional ceremonies of YeonDueng-Hoi and PalGwan-Hoi favoured a ritual dancing of DangAakJeongJae originated from the old ancient China, and at the same time it also employed HyangAakJeongJae of Sin-la dynasty. Especially, the DangAakJeongJae contained the kinds of SooSeon-Dyo, Soo-YeonJang, PoTae-Aak, OhYa-ng-Seon, and YeonHwaDae-Mu; and the Hyang-AakJeongJae dealt with Moo-Go and Aa-Bak.

In this paper, we propose a novel equalization on-channel repeater (OCR) with a feedback interference canceller (FIC) to relay terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting signals in single frequency networks. The proposed OCR not only has high output power by cancelling the feedback signals caused by insufficient antenna isolation through the FIC, but also shows better output signal quality than the conventional OCR by removing multipath signals existing between the main transmitter and the OCR through an equalizer. In addition, computer simulations and laboratory test results demonstrate that the proposed OCR successfully cancels feedback signals and compensates channel distortions and provides a higher quality transmitting signal with higher output power than conventional OCRs.

Expressed sequence tags(ESTs) constitute a rapid and informative strategy for studying gene-expression profiles of specific stages and tissues. In this report, a cDNA library constructed from late larval Hydropsyche sp. was used to generate ESTs. Caddis larval silk-gland produce silk which are used in constructing their retreats and cases in the aquatic situation. (omitted)

A murine local lymph node assay (LLNA) has been developed as an alternative to guinea pig models for contact sensitization potential. However, a disadvantage of the LLNA is the need for the use of radioactive material.
