100세 이상 장수노인의 식생활 경험 (Experiences of Dietary Life on Elderly Over 100 Years Old)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and describe phenomenological structures of the experiences of dietary life on elderly over 100 years old. Methods: The participants of this research included nine persons over the age of 100 years of age and ten family members who assisted in the dietary regime. Qualitative data were collected by individual in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's method of phenomenology. Results: The results of the research provide four categories and nine theme clusters. The categories included a rustic menu consisting of vegetables, grain-oriented traditional food, sensible dining table in harmony with nature, dietary life and emphasis on how to eat. The nine theme clusters were preference for fresh vegetable, preference of cooked potherb, boiled rice and cereal as main staple food, intake of soybeans, preference of native local foods, non-preference of unhealthy foods, select healthy and control food portion sizes for longevity, objection to light eating, and enjoying a meal. Conclusion: The findings of the study offer insight about the nutrition patterns among the people over 100 years of age.

인터넷 상점에서의 실시간 개인화된 광고 제공 기법 (Real-Time Personalized Advertisement Techniques for Internet Shopping Mall)

  • This paper describes a personalized advertisement technique as a part of intelligent customer services in Internet shopping malls. Based on customers' initial profile, purchase history, and behaviors in an Internet shopping mall, the technique displays appropriate advertisements on Internet web pages when customers' visit to the shopping mall. Customers preference scores for product groups which are main sources to select advertisements, are stored either a preference table or preference trees. Both of the two storage methods can support selection of advertisements on real time, and the preference tree method can reflect affinity among product groups. The suggested technique selects different advertisements to reflect changes of customers preferences as time goes by. An experiment has been performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithm, which revealed that the algorithm selects more customer-oriented advertisements rather than random selection.

우리나라 가족계획사업(家族計劃事業)의 현황소고(現況小考) ('Recent Progress of Family Planning in Korea')

  • Korean family planning program has been adopted as a part of the Economic Development Plan with strong national government backup. After initiation of family planning program, the increase rate of total population declined from 2.6 percent during 1955-1960, to 2.1 percent in 1960-1975, and 1.6 percent in 1979. Of course, we do not ascribe this population increase rate decline to the national family planning program alone. Other contributing factors have been changes such as growing numbers of induced absortions, a rising marriage age and economic development. Currently, 2,600 family planning workers are assigned in all myun of the country. 21 percent of the works are registered nurse, 9 percent are midwife and aid nurses occupy 70 percent (Table 1). Authorized clinics are 2,329 which composed 1,765 IUD clinics, 1,070 vasectomy clinics and 1,150 Fimale sterilization clinics (Table 2). Cumulative contraceptive services provided by government program, 1962-1974 is illustrated in Table 3. After government program in family planning has been initiated (1962-1978), estimated number of births averted by each methods was measured (Table 4). From 1962 to 1978, tendency of contraceptive acceptors is illustrated in Table 5 showed that IUD, oral pill and condom program is decreasing and in other hand, sterilization program is increasing very much. Attitude change toward family size (1965-1978), contraceptive practice and son preference are showed in Table 7, 8, respectively. Auther concluded that future program in family planning should target to the point, that smaller family size norm for maternal health should be emphasized rather than smaller size family for national development.

농촌 청소년의 식품 기호도와 영양 섭취 실태와의 관계 (Food Preference and Nutrient Intake Status of High School Students in Rural Area of Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mutual relationship between food preference and nutrient intake status of high school students, based on the their personal characters which are sex, age, family type, number of family, mother's age, occupation, and school career. 439 students were selected with random stratified cluster sampling method. The study used a self-administrated questionnaire and 24-hour recall method for 5 days as instrument tools. Statistical methods applied to analyze the data were frequency, percent, Willcoxon Rank-sum test, Kruskal-Wallis test, ${x^2}-test$ by contingence table, and Spearman's correlation coefficient in non parametric statistical methods. Some of interesting results are as follows : 1. The correlation between sex and the set of characters of mother's age, school career and income is highly significant. However there is no any significant difference on the kinds of job and the types of family. 2. The relation between the preference of main dishes and the nutrient intake show a significant difference except to the noodles. This marks that preference of main dishes shows a direct proportion with the nutrient intakes except for the fat, vitamin A, vitamin C. 3. The preference of animal food marks a direct proportion with the nutrients such as energy, protein, fat, fiber, phosphorus, iron, vitamin $B_{1}$, vitamin $B_{2}$, and niacin 4. The preference of vegetable food gives some influence on the nutrient intake but the preference of soup is insignificant, the preference of Kimchi is in reverse proportion, and the preference of vegetable marks a direct proportion with the nutrient intake. 5. The preference of snacks marks a direct proportion with all kinds of nutrients intake except for the vitamin A, and vitamin C.

모임별 상차림에 대한 인식도 및 기호도 조사 (Evaluation of the Recognition and Taste of Table Settings According to an Objective Party)

  • This study was conducted to generate fundamental data required by food coordinators and food space creators for planning and directing table settings. The results of this study were then used to suggest an ideal model of table settings for Korean-style food equipped with simple, sophisticated, and practical characteristics. Specifically, this study evaluated the importance of hygiene (safety, cleanness, arrangement), decoration (dignity, form, stylishness, presentation of food on plates), naturalness (seasonal beauty, comfortableness, natural beauty), and modernity (modern style, chic style, urban style). These factors were evaluated according to the preference of the table setting and the characteristics of the meeting, which fit various meal cultures, times, places, and objectives. The results of this study indicate that people prefer hygiene and decoration for family meetings (bansang setting), hygiene and modernity for friendly meetings (simple buffet setting), hygiene and decoration for company meetings (simple buffet setting), and hygiene and decoration for academic meetings (tea party). Hygiene and decoration were highly evaluated in most cases, which indicates that individuals at meetings for special purposes give weight to the meeting's atmosphere, but also consider the hygiene and cleanliness of the food.

Statistical Hierarchical Analysis of Children Emotional Intelligence's Effects on Mural Preference, Emotion Cultivation, and Community Connection

  • To explore effects on each the emotional awareness, emotional expression, emotional empathy, and emotional regulation, of the sub-factors of the child's emotional intelligence, to mural preference, emotion cultivation, and community connection, the hierarchical multiple regression analyses are performed(as in Table 1, 2, and 3). As the results, we found the following facts. Children's mural preference, emotion cultivation, and community connection were expressed by the following equations in order, respectively. 대구 시민의 그린투어리즘 체험활동 선호도에 관한 연구 (Preferences for Experiencing activities of Daegu City Residents towards Green Tourism)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze city residents' preference to experiencing activities for Green Tourism. A Questionnaire survey was conducted in fall, 2006. The sum of 515 copies was analyzed. Residents of Daegu city preferred 'health/leports experience' and 'traditional food experience', among theme experiential activities. While present providing experience programs are rural-life experiences, which are convenient for provider aspect. By the result of cross-table analysis, there are many differences between groups by gender & age. Men preferred 'health/leports experience', while women preferred 'traditional food experience'. The mean values of preference by 14 experiencing activities showed high at 'health experience', 'traditional food experience', 'leports experience', which represents health & wellbeing trends. By the result of t-test & ANOVA, there also are many differences between groups by gender & age. Especially significant differences were shown by age group. Three factors were categorized. 'traditional/wellbeing/health experience', 'nature-play experience' and 'life-culture experience' were those.

서울지역 주민의 중의(中醫) 체질(體質)별 오색(五色)선호도와의 연관성 (Relations of Five Color Preference with Chinese Body Constitution of Residents in Seoul Area)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 서울시민 594명을 대상으로 중의체질표 설문지로 검사하여 체질유형 분포를 탐색하고, 체질별로 오색(빨강색, 파랑색, 노랑색, 흰색 그리고 검정색)의 선호도를 조사하여 서울 시민들에게 적합한 검사인지 그리고 체질에 따른 오색의 선호도가 타당성이 있는지를 조사하는 것이 목적이었다. 방법: 연구방법은 중의체질 설문지를 이용하였고 일반오색을 이용하여 조사하였다. 결과: 체질유형 분포에서는 양허체질(31.4%), 음허체질(23.8%), 담습열(11.8%), 화평(10.4%), 기허체질(9.8%), 기울체질(7.4%), 특이체질(6.2%), 어혈체질(3.2%) 순으로 나타났다. 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 이는 중의체질 검사가 서울 시민에 적합하지 않다는 결과이기도 하다. 오색선호도 순서는 파랑색이 184명(31%), 노랑색이 150명(25.3%), 흰색이 107명(18%), 빨강색이 105명(17.7%), 그리고 검정색이 48명(8%)의 순이었다. 파랑색을 제일 선호하였고, 검정색을 제일 낮게 선호하였다. 오색의 분포는 차이는 있었으나, 통계적으로 유의하지는 안했다. 이는 체질별 오색선호 사이에는 유연성이 적다는 결과이다. 양허체질 대상자의 오장질환 중에 위장 질환자의 분포(50.3%)가 반수 이상을 차지하였다. 선호색은 전체적으로는 파랑색(30.9%)이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 차이는 통계적으로 유의성이 있었다(p<.01). 오장질환 별로 오색의 선호도에 영향을 준다는 결과라 평가한다. 결론: 중의체질 분포조사표로 조사한 서울 시민의 체질을 분포는 9개로 분류되었으며, 양허체질 대상자가 수가 가장 높았고, 습열체질이 낮았다. 또한 체질별로 오색의 선호도에 차이가 있었다. 그러나 통계적으로 유의성은 없었다. 이는 중의체질표가 서울시민에게는 적합하지 않다는 결과이기도 하다. 그러나 체질별 결과는 이 분야의 연구에 중요한 기초자료가 된다고 판단한다.

선호의식데이타에 의한 교통수단선택 모델의 특성 (The Characteristics of Mode Choice Model by Stated Preference Data)

  • In recent year, especially in the mode choice analysis, it has been perceived that the importance of individual performance data using stated preference(SP) experiments as well as revealed preference data . Since SP experiments present respondent with various hypothetical alternatives, which are produced by a combination of a number of different attribute levels, and ask them to indicate a preference, it is possible to analyze travel behavior under a situation of potential environment change such as proposed alternative mode of transportation. The basic problems, however, remains that SP are not consistent with the actual travel behaviors and the research reports for stability of mode choice model using SP data has not been sufficient. Under this background, this study is to examine the characteristics of mode choice model using the SP data by the following items. $\circled1$ Analysis of factors affecting the mode choice behavior by the variance analysis of orthogonal-arrays-table $\circled2$ The reliability of SP data by transfer intention data $\circled3$ The stability of SP responses obtained from repetitive question by the comparison of model coefficient specified by each repetitive data. $\circled4$ The stability of ranking data in mode choice model For the analysis, we assumed subway operations in the Gwang-Ju , and set up a choice-set of hypothetical options based on Experimental Design Method.

점박이응애의 사과 품종(후지, 쓰가루, 홍로)에 대한 선호성과 생명표 분석 (Preference of Apple Leaves of Three Cultivars, Fuji, Tsugaru and Hongro by Tetranychus urticae Koch and Its Life Table Analysis)

  • 점박이응애는 광식성 초식자로서, 사과의 주요 해충 중 하나이다. 사과 품종에 따라 점박이응애의 밀도 형성이나 피해 규모가 다르게 나타난다. 세 가지 품종, 쓰가루, 홍로, 후지의 잎에 대한 점박이응애의 이동 선호성, 발육속도, 그리고 산란능력이 다른지를 시험하였다. 잎 절편을 이용한 실험 결과, 이동 선호성은 쓰가루나 홍로보다 후지 잎에서 높았다. 알에서 성충까지 발육기간은 후지 잎에서 가장 짧았고 홍로에서 가장 길었다. 암컷 성충 수명은 후지에서 가장 짧았다. 암컷의 총산란수는 사과 품종에 따라 다르지 않았지만, 일 평균 산란수는 후지에서 높았다. 생명표 분석 결과 홍로 잎에서 점박이응애의 적합도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 사과원에서 품종에 따른 점박이응애 발생 양상의 차이를 설명해 주고 있으며, 향후 다양한 사과 품종에 대한 평가를 통해, 품종별 응애류 관리 전략 개발에 기초 자료가 될 것이다.
