웹 드라마는 인터넷 시대의 산물이라고 한다. 웹 드라마는 전통 텔레비전 드라마와는 다른 10대와 20대 젊은이들이 선호하는 일상적인 내용을 통해 인기를 끌고 주목을 받았다. 스낵 컬처로 인하여 많은 온라인 영상 플랫폼이 웹 드라마를 제작하기 시작했다. 웹 드라마는 스낵 컬처의 영향으로 서사가 종결되는 단막극 형태를 사용하고, 전통 텔레비전 드라마의 선형구조와 다른, 줄거리와 서사가 종결되는 단막극 형태의 영향을 받아 전통 텔레비전 드라마와는 다른 특성을 가진다. 본 연구는 한국에서 가장 큰 청춘 웹 드라마 제작회사 《플레이리스트 오리지널》의 청춘 웹 드라마를 통하여 서사가 종결되는 단막극 형태로 구성되는 청춘 웹 드라마의 특성을 살펴보고 청춘 웹 드라마의 서사가 종결되는 단막극 형태와 비선형 내러티브로 인해 나타나는 서사구조를 분석하고자 한다.

Once people thought the phenomenon of 'Ha-Han' was only a vogue of young people pursuing oddity. However, when Korean TV series, Korean food, Korean movies and their music penetrated into our life and appeared on TV screens and fashionable magazines, all aspects influence of Korean wave finally arouse people's attention. 'Ha-Han-Zu' is a group of young people who pursue Korean popular culture even imitating their dressing, thoughts and behaviors. This article takes China the original place of Korean wave's popularity as focus, observes the reflection of Chinese to Korean popular culture and discusses the culture exchange phases of Korean wave as the center of popular culture. It can be more detailed that it bases on HOT wave from 1998 to 2004 and analyzes of popular TV series, observes reflects of 'Ha-Han-Zu' to Korean culture, discusses the acceptance to Korean popular culture and what kind of active reflection consumption giving to culture exchange.

Numerous films and TV series worldwide have depicted characters with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and savant skills. This study describes the portrayal of ASD and savant skills in Korean films and dramas. Starting with the 2005 film Marathon, characters with ASD have been featured in five films and four dramas. Most portrayals were based on the diagnostic criteria and pathogenesis of ASD, as outlined in the DSM-5. Of the 10 characters with ASD in these films and dramas, seven were male and three were female, with seven of them possessing savant skills. In the future, caution and guidance on the general characteristics of ASD from experts should be provided with the release of ASD-based films and TV dramas in Korea; in addition, critiques and social discourse pertinent to the reality of ASD should be provided by people with ASD, their families, and relevant experts.

본 연구는 IPTV와 디지털케이블 사업자가 제공하는 VOD의 시청행태와 지상파 VOD 다시보기 서비스의 추세를 시계열로 분석하고 함의를 제시하는 연구이다. 연구자는 실제 미디어 플랫폼 사업자의 데이터를 바탕으로 VOD 실적을 추세 분석하였으며, 계절적 요인으로 1월과 8월에 피크 값의 반복이 진행됨을 확인하였다. 또한 개별 지상파들은 드라마 등의 히트 프로그램에 의해 본방 시청률과 VOD의 시청에 영향을 받는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 지상파, 영화, 어린이 VOD의 관계를 시계열로 분석하고, 지상파VOD의 구매가 하락세인 것을 확인하였다. 당초 지상파와 플랫폼사업자는 본방송 시청률을 높이고 유료VOD 구매를 확대할 목적으로 홀드백 연장을 하였으나, 연구결과 오히려 시청자의 본방송 시청과 VOD 시청 모두 구매 욕구를 감소시킨 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 연구자는 본연구가 미디어사업자들이 향후 시청자를 고려한 미디어 정책을 제시하는데 도움이 되길 기대한다.

본 연구에서는 기존의 미디어 콘텐츠를 애니메이션으로 리메이크하여 제작하였을 때 생기는 특이점 중, 희극적 실사 영화를 애니메이션화 하였을 때 나타나는 특징에 대해 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 애니메이션과 슬랩스틱 코미디 영화는 몸짓과 표정, 행동들을 과장지어 표현함으로서 이를 관람하는 수용자로부터 희화화된 웃음을 이끌어낸다는 부분에서 공통점을 가지고 있다. 실사 영화의 경우 사람이 연기를 해야 하고 공간적 한계가 존재하지만 애니메이션은 그렇지 않다는 점에서 같은 장르적 요소를 공유하고 있음에도 희극 애니메이션은 희극 실사영화와는 다른 공간적 화면연출과 연기를 구현한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영국 코미디 TV 프로그램 와 이를 리메이크하여 애니메이션화 한 TV 애니메이션 에서 같은 사건의 내용을 다룬 와 를 비교 분석하여 실사영화와 애니메이션화에 따른 캐릭터 연기와 화면 연출에 대해 비교 분석해 보고자 한다. 같은 인물과 같은 사건을 다룬 두 작품을 분석함으로서 희극 장르를 애니메이션화 하는 것에 있어 용이한 점과, 애니메이션 매체가 갖는 장점에 대해 알아본 결과 표정과 행동의 연기에서의 과장된 연출과 스토리에 있어서 상상력이 가미된 에피소드의 다양성 그리고 슬랩스틱 표현의 소격효과 등의 기대를 통해 더욱 여유와 유희가 배가된 희극적 연출이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.

As the screen size of LCD TV increases, an external electrode fluorescent lamp (EEFL) has been suggested to be applicable as backlight source for LCD TV. Since the EEFL has non-linear characteristics, which makes the analysis and design complicated. In this paper, the characteristics of the EEFL are investigated and a full-bridge RLC series-resonant inverter is analyzed and designed for EEFL backlight of 32-inch LCD TV. Finally, the experimental results are shown to validate the analysis and design.

Korean dramas, commonly referred to as Koreanovelas or K-Dramas in the Philippines, have significantly influenced and reshaped Philippine television culture since the early 2000s. Their impact persists in contemporary television programming, reflecting the transnational flow of media texts across borders. As media content transcends geographical boundaries, local media companies have adopted the practice of producing adaptations of foreign television series for their audiences. This paper examines the adaptation of the Koreanovela The World of the Married into the Philippine series The Broken Marriage Vow, both of which are adaptations derived from the British show Doctor Foster. Through this comparative analysis, I argue that the process of localizing these television shows to suit the preferences of the target audience serves as a tangible manifestation of transnational adaptation. Particularly in an era of globalization, where entertainment is still a thriving enterprise, thus traversing international borders, this phenomenon demonstrates the evolving nature of television content as it adapts and caters to diverse cultural contexts let alone a profitable means to generate an ailing entertainment industry, especially in the time of the pandemic.

This research investigates the media consumers' behavior with behavioral economics perspective, especially regarding TV content viewers' behavior; how do online communications influence TV viewers' decision when choosing a new TV content among options. We focus on quantity and attribute of comments or reactions on the online news articles. We analyze that online communications data, which were generated before the first broadcast, affect the TV content consumers' choice for a new TV series. Here we identify a predicted utility, experienced utility and distinction bias in TV media consumption to find the effectiveness of the first viewing choice on whole TV series' episodes. To avoid the crucial influence by exogenous factors, such as season and social issue, the test was done with specific conditions. This research found that the total number of reactions to the comments by itself positively affects the audiences' decision-making behavior for a new TV content choice. This influence was regardless of favor/ non-flavor reactions. This study contributes to the literature on media economics and management by exploring the media content users' consuming behavior and making a first step for finding an important influencer on the media content consumption.

본 연구는 TV 드라마 <마인>을 대상으로 이 드라마가 최근의 여성주의적 요구를 수용하고 실현해 나가기 위해 어떤 서사 전략을 사용하는지 분석하였다. 그 결과 가부장제가 견고한 재벌가를 배경으로 부계 혈통인 아들이 아닌 두 며느리를 서사의 주체로 호명하고, 이들이 가부장제 질서에 도전, 사건 해결의 주체가 되어 가는 과정을 그리며 기존 가부장제 드라마의 클리셰를 파기하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 과정에서 남성들의 권력이 거세되고 대리인 역할을 해왔던 여성들이 희화화됨으로써 젠더 권력이 전도되었다. 또한 기존의 친모-양모, 동서 간 등 여성 간 갈등 구조의 인물관계를 파기하고, 이들 간의 끈끈한 연대를 통해 부계 혈통주의를 상징하는 남성을 단죄하고 진정한 '나의 것'을 찾아가는 결말을 통해 가부장제 질서를 전복하며 두 가지 성취를 일궈낸다. 하나는 가부장제의 원형인 부계 혈통의 아버지가 아닌 양모와 친모가 아이의 공동양육을 하게 됨으로써 비혈연 모계가족의 가능성을 제시한 점이다. 다른 하나는 부계 혈통으로 승계되던 재벌가의 후계 자리가 장자나 부도덕한 아들이 아닌 레즈비언 며느리에게 승계됨으로써 가부장제가 고수해온 이성애 중심의 '정상가족' 이데올로기를 전복했다는 점이다.

90년대 들어서면서 대중문화 수용자를 능동성과 비판성 그리고 창조성을 갖춘 집단으로 보려는 인식의 변화가 일어났다. 본 연구는 오래전부터 미국의 장르 문화를 중심으로 결성된 팬들의 자발적 행사인 컨벤션에 대한 이론적 논의를 다루고, 컨벤션에서 팬들과 작품 관계자들이 어떻게 소통하고 작품의 세계를 확장해 나가는지를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 구체적인 사례로 미국 드라마 <수퍼내추럴> 컨벤션을 분석한 결과, 드라마가 하나의 생명체처럼 지속적인 생명력을 유지할 수 있었던 이유는 팬과 배우들 간의 특별한 유대감과 공감, 그리고 상호작용에 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 문화사회학적 측면에서 하나의 작품은 생산자와 그것을 수용하는 사람의 자유로운 해석과 재창조를 통해 완결된다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.
