The purpose of this study is to measure the overall level of consumer consciousness and behavior environmental problems of college women students and to analyze influencial factors. Five hundred and sixteen college women students were selected randomly, in Kwangju area. The methods of data analysis were Frequency Distribution, Mean , Percentile, one-Way ANOVA , Scheffe-test . Pearson's Correlation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. Major finding are as follows; 1) The consumer consciousness and behavior an environmental problems of college women student showed significant differences according to the grade, age, major, socio-economic status, consumer education experience environmental problems, and frequencies of contacting mass media. 2) The consumer behavior on environmental problems of college women students had a positive relationship with consumer consciousness on environmental problems. Based on the above findings , this study suggests the followings; first the consumer education as a formal program is needed for the improvement of the consumer consciousness and behavior of college women student. Second. The content of the consumer education must emphasize more clearly the consumer rights in order to improve consumer's consciousness and behavior of environmental problems. Third. mass media of TV, radio, newspaper, magazine must be more active publicity and instruction in order to improve consumer's consciousness and behavior on environmental problems.

SBS [Healing Camp] seems like having a different sound usage from other entertainment programs. After content analysis, I found that [Healing Camp] uses much more music & sound effects than [Muhandojeon]. Music & sound effects of [Healing Camp] has functions of tautological informing, uplush of emotion or Ancrage, narrating or Relais. It is very similar to television subtitle. Positive uses of music & sound effects are expected to catch the attention of audience and to increase the ratings. But [Healing Camp] uses music & sound effects very positively and systematically and opens a new dimension of narratives.

Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is the mobile TV service based on a digital radio transmission system that provides high quality audio/video and other auxiliary data services. As users want to store the DMB content in their device to be consumed later or to be shared among users, a standardized format needs to be specified to guarantee the interoperability for the DMB contents for various devices. DMB AF (Application Format) specification defines a file format for DMB contents and services. It specifies how to combine the variety of DMB contents with associated information for a presentation in a well-defined format that facilitates storage, interchange, management, editing, and presentation of the DMB contents in protected, governed, and interoperable ways. In this paper we present our implementation of DMB AF as part of the development of DMB AF reference software. Our implementation of DMB AF is developed as the reference software for the standard specification that consists of a three applications: packager, media player, metadata browser and collection of supporting libraries used by the applications.

Real-time multimedia streaming over the Internet is rapidly increasing with the popularity of user-created contents, Web 2.0 trends, and P2P (peer-to-peer) delivery support. While many homes today are broadband-enabled, the quality of experience (QoE) of a user is still limited due to frequent interruption of media playout. The vulnerability of TCP (transmission control protocol), the popular transport-layer protocol for streaming in practice, to the packet losses, retransmissions, and timeouts makes it hard to deliver a timely and persistent flow of packets for online multimedia contents. This paper presents TCP-real-time online multimedia environment (ROME), a novel transport-layer framework that allows the establishment and coordination of multiple many-to-one TCP connections. Between one client with multiple home addresses and multiple co-located or distributed servers, TCP-ROME increases the total throughput by aggregating the resources of multiple TCP connections. It also overcomes the bandwidth fluctuations of network bottlenecks by dynamically coordinating the streams of contents from multiple servers and by adapting the streaming rate of all connections to match the bandwidth requirement of the target video.

Set-top Box (STB) has evolved from being a device just sitting on top of a TV shelf to a device providing a gateway to the Internet for a home network, receiving services from multiple content providers, and enabling and ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) for the streaming media. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), with its promise to provide a converged access network for multimedia service delivery (such as Triple play & Quadruple play services), has to guarantee QoS support. To enable QoS in IMS-based networks, we have designed a set-top box which provides feedback to the service provider to ensure end-to-end QoS. Our set-top box is designed to provide virtual platforms such that it can support multiple service providers. Each service provider is able to manage its own multimedia streams and ensures the desired network performance for each flow. The set-top box also works as a Home Gateway and provides end-to-end QoS support to the client nodes.

본 논문은 시청자 개개인의 선호도 정보(user preference)를 이용하여, 컨텐츠 제공자(content provider)로부터 개인화 된 비디오 요약을 제공받을 수 있는 맞춤형 방송 서비스를 제안한다. 제안하는 방송 서비스는 다채널의 디지털 방송 환경에서 시청자들에게는 채널선택의 편의성과, 컨텐츠 제공자들에게는 시청자들이 자신들의 컨텐츠에 대한 소비를 촉진시키는 기능을 제공한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 개인화 된 비디오 요약 서비스를 제공하기 위해, TV-Anytime에 기반한 사용자 선호도 정보를 이용하는 시스템 스킴(scheme)을 제안한다. 제안하는 방송 서비스의 유효성을 테스트하기 위해 영화 장르의 비디오에 대해서 이벤트(event)들을 세그먼트(segment)하고, 해당 선호도 정보에서 추론된 선호 이벤트 정보에 따라 비디오 요약(video skim)을 생성하고, 시청자 단말에 제공하는 실험을 수행한다.

This is the study for the removal of a toxic heavy metal ions and the recycling of expanded polystyrene wastes. Thus expanded polystyrene wastes collected from the packing materials of TV or chemicals and dissolved by $80wt.\%$ solvent(N, N-Dimethylacrylamide), electrospun in DC 20kV by power supply. Generally, the electrospinning is a process of manufacture to the fibers of nanosize from polymer solution. Manufactured nanofiber mats by electrospinning were sulfonated by cone.-sulphuric acid with $Ag_2S_O_4$ catalysts for the exchange capacity of heavy metal ions and the properties of structure with sulfonated time investigated by FESEM(Feild Emission Scaning Electron Microscope). The ion exchange capacity of light metal$(Na^+)$, Cd(II) and Ni(II), and by a nanofiber mats were 1.94[mmo1/g-dry-mat), 1.72(mmol/g-dry-mat), 1.24(mmol/g-dry-mat), respectively., and water uptake content showed a similar trend with IEC. and The selectivity coefficients $K^M_H$ of Cd(II), Ni((II) ions showed 0.324, 0.228. respectively.

Hybrid digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) is a next-generation mobile TV system that combines broadcasting and wireless communication networks and can provide various high-quality multimedia services. However, if a system adheres to the current standard of transmitting the DMB content in the form of MPEG2-TS through wireless networks, it results in a burden on the network due to low transmission efficiency. The reasons for the low transmission efficiency are as follows. First, due to its constant bitrate characteristic, DMB MPEG2-TS includes a considerable amount of needless information, such as NULL packets and stuffing bytes. Second, due to the inflexibility of the Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) standard, one cannot fully utilize the maximum transmission unit of the network when converting MPEG2-TS to RTP stream for transmission. This paper proposes a new transmission scheme that resolves these problems. Experiment results show that the proposed scheme improves data bitrate transmission efficiency by 8% to 36%, compared to the standard scheme, in the streaming of various real-DMB contents.

This study is about safety education experience and practice of parents who are raising preschool children and the study results are as the following. For safety education experience state, parents had experience of safety education and mostly received it through communities, TV, Internet, etc. The most common educational content was the traffic safety education. For safety education practice degree according to number of children, safety education practice was mostly done well with 1~2 children. For safety education practice degree according to family type, safety education practice degree within the family was done most in nuclear families while healthy life habit safety education practice degree was done most in nuclear families and reconstituted families. Also, for traffic safety education practice degree, it was done well in nuclear families. For respiratory disease safety education practice degree, nuclear families and reconstituted families were the highest and for first aid safety education practice degree, single-parent families were the highest. For safety knowledge level of parents, safety knowledge of family was the highest, followed by safety knowledge of respiratory disease, and traffic. For safety education practice degree and safety knowledge according to safety education experience of parents, there was a significant difference in practice degree according to safety education experience of parents and there was also difference in practice knowledge according to experience. There was also education effect in healthy life habit safety knowledge and traffic safety knowledge.

In recent days, research activities on multimedia services mainly focus on the multiplexing system with timing synchromization for media components, such as video, audio and text. The MPEG-4 standard emphasizes object-based coding which includes analysis and understanding of the Image content. Since in MPEG-4 we can define objects and encode them independently, we can manipulate and display each object for different applications. This feature of MPEG-4 is also vero useful for multimedia services, such as video streaming cia different network channels, digital versatile disc, internet TV, video E-mail, and so on. In this Paper, we implement a multimedia streaming system which is compliant with the MPEG-4 system and the MP4 file format.
