Kinetics and Mechanism of the Anilinolysis of Aryl Ethyl Isothiocyanophosphates in Acetonitrile

  • The nucleophilic substitution reactions of Y-aryl ethyl isothiocyanophosphates with substituted X-anilines and deuterated X-anilines were investigated kinetically in acetonitrile at $75.0^{\circ}C$. The free energy relationships with X in the nucleophiles exhibited biphasic concave downwards with a break point at X = H. A stepwise mechanism with rate-limiting bond formation for strongly basic anilines and with rate-limiting bond breaking for weakly basic anilines is proposed based on the negative and positive ${\rho}_{XY}$ values, respectively. The deuterium kinetic isotope effects (DKIEs; $k_H/k_D$) changed gradually from primary normal with strongly basic anilines, via primary normal and secondary inverse with aniline, to secondary inverse with weakly basic anilines. The primary normal and secondary inverse DKIEs were rationalized by frontside attack involving hydrogen bonded, four-center-type TSf and backside attack involving in-line-type TSb, respectively.

  • In this paper, an advanced torque control scheme of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using modified non-linear logical TSF (Torque Sharing Function) based on the DITC (direct instantaneous torque control) with PWM(Pulse Width Modulation). In the proposed control scheme, a simple calculation of PWM duty ratio, switching rules from DITC and non-linear torque sharing function can reduce the torque ripple with fixed switching frequency. The proposed control scheme is verified by the computer simulations and experimental results.

  • This study was performed to examine water and nutrient balance during rice cropping period using difference fertilization paddy plot in ground water irrigation region. The experimental rice paddy consist of three plot, Treatment of Excess fertilization(TEF) and Treatment of Standard Fertilization(TSF) and Treatment of Reduce Fertilization(TRF). As result, input amount to rice paddy was almost rainfall and output was direct runoff through drainage. nutrient input amount was upper paddy in case COD and fertilization in case Total nitrogen and total phosphorus, and output was drainage in all nutrient.

Evidence of Interaction of Phage P22 Tailspike Protein with DnaJ During Translational Folding

  • Phage P22 tailspike is a thermostable homotrimeric protein, and temperature-sensitive folding (tsf) and global suppressor mutations affect its folding yields at elevated temperatures. We earlier suggested that the folding of the tailspike protein in Escherichia coli requires an unidentified molecular chaperone. Accordingly, in the present study, the interactions of purified DnaK, DnaJ, and GrpE heat-shock proteins with the tailspike protein were investigated during the translation and folding of the protein. The cotranslational addition of DnaJ to the tailspike protein resulted in the arrest of folding, when Dnak and GrpE were missing. However, the presence of DnaK, DnaJ, and GrpE had no effect on the folding yield of the tails pike protein, thus, providing evidence for the binding of the nascent tailspike protein with DnaJ protein, a member of DnaK chaperoning cycle.

  • This paper presents a new torque sharing function method that extends the definition region of the conventional TSF to both the positive and negative torque production regions. By using this definition, all kinds of the control inputs that consider switching on/off angle control as well as the current profiling can be described. A parametrized representation of the current profiles is proposed by using a series of B-spline functions, which reduces memory requirement and enables additional controllers. Optimal determination of the TSFs are also investigated for various control objectives. Moreover, the comparison study of each objective is presented. Since this method generalizes all of the possible control input, the current and torque profiles obtained from the optimization are the most suitable control input that satisfy the objectives.

  • A torque control method of a switched reluctance motor for the position control of a tank gun is presented. One of the widely used torque control scheme, torque sharing function method, is investigated and a new torque sharing function method is proposed that extends the definition region of the conventional TSF to both the positive and negative torque production regions.   • In this paper a new dynamoelectric winch system is introduced which is widely applied in shipping. building, architecture and so on. Generally in the winch system the squirrel cage induction motor is used as prime mover and line voltage is directly applied to the induction motor during operation. So it is difficult to obtain the smoothing revolution. because of variation of the weight of cargo and system operating method. Based on above reasons, the switched reluctance motor (SRM) is proposed to replace the induction motor because of more reliable mechanical structure, better traction characteristic and higher efficiency compared to induction motor. And in order to solve smoothing revolution problem, instantaneous torque control method based on torque sharing function (TSF) is used. Finally the validity of the proposed method is verified through the simulation and experimental results.

  • The kinetics and mechanism of the pyridinolysis ($XC_5H_4N$) of dimethyl isothiocyanophosphate are investigated in acetonitrile at $55.0^{\circ}C$. The Hammett and Br$\ddot{o}$nsted plots for substituent X variations in the nucleophiles exhibit two discrete slopes with a break region between X = 3-Ac and 4-Ac. These are interpreted to indicate a mechanistic change at the break region from a concerted to a stepwise mechanism with a rate-limiting expulsion of the isothiocyanate leaving group from the intermediate. The relatively large ${\beta}x$ values imply much greater fraction of frontside nucleophilic attack TSf than that of backside attack TSb. The steric effects of the two ligands play an important role to determine the pyridinolysis rates of isothiocyanophosphates.

  • 본 논문은 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기(Switched Reluctance Motor, 이하 SRM)의 상 인덕턴스를 추정하여 최고점과 최저점을 검출하는 방식으로 위치 센서를 이용하지 않는 직접토크 제어를 제안한다. 최고점으로부터 최저점의 위치 정보를 계산하여 이를 기준으로 회전 중인 회전자의 위치정보를 얻는다. 또한, 회전자의 위치정보를 필요로 하는 토크 계산 및 토크분배함수(Torque Sharing Function, 이하 TSF)는 상 인덕턴스 최저점 검출과 연관하여 계산하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 가능성을 입증하였다.
