  • TRIM72 is known to play a critical role in skeletal muscle membrane repair. To better understand the molecular mechanisms of this protein, we carried out an in vitro binding study with TRIM72. Our study proved that TRIM72 binds various lipids with dissociation constants ($K_d$) ranging from 88.2 ${\pm}$ 9.9 nM to 550.5 ${\pm}$ 134.5 nM. In addition, the intrinsic fluorescence of TRIM72 exponentially decreased when the protein was diluted with stirring. The time-resolved fluorescence decay occurred in a concentration-independent manner. The fluorescence-decayed TRIM72 remained in its secondary structure, but its binding properties were significantly reduced. The dissociation constants ($K_d$) of fluorescence-decayed TRIM72 for palmitate and stearate were 159.1 ${\pm}$ 39.9 nM and 355.4 ${\pm}$ 106.0 nM, respectively. This study suggests that TRIM72 can be dynamically converted by various stimuli. The results of this study also provide insight into the role of TRIM72 in the repair of sarcolemma damage.

Feathered Trim is 5 types, Feathered Trim I-A, Feathered Trim I-B, Feathered Trim II-A, Feathered Trim II-B, Feathered Trim II-C in according to upper part of central insert plate style. Feathered Trim I-A, I-B, II-B type was general style that was found in most of the old tombs in ancient Silla, Gaya. Feathered Trim II-A type was excavated from the only Silla tombs and II-C type was excavated from Gaya tombs. The Ornaments for Diadem in Baekje was excavated from the tombs is adorned with a arranged leaf-stems on either sides and the flower-shaped. They were distinguished with the original mode of Goguryeo and ancient Silla at the time. Tree-typed Diadem is five part in according to the Mountain(;山)-typed piled up. Only one Mountain(;山)-typed one in three stand-up ornament(I-1 type), and three step one in three stand-up one(I-2 type), modification one (I-3 type), three step one of four and five stand-up ones(I-4 type), and four step one of four and five stand-up ones (I-5 type). Tree and Antler-typed Diadem is three part in according to the step of Mountain(; 山)-typed and cross-shaped of the upper part. Three one of three step one of Mountain(;山)-typed and two Antler- typed (II-1 type), cross-shaped one(II-2 type), four step one(II-3 type).

  • NHTSA has been conducting biomechanical studies to reduce inujuries sustained sustained during automotive collision. Furthermore, NHTSA added the regulation to the FMVSS 201, limiting the equivalent HIC(Head Injury Criterion) value under 1000. In the presont work, a methodology was developed for the optimum design of the A-pillar trim with rib-structures. The design variables for the rib-strucrures were the transverse spacing, the longitudinal spacing, and the thickness. The required sets of the design varibles were decided based on the design of experiments. The head impact simulations were carried out using the LS-DYNA3D, and the HIC(d) values were computed using the resulrs of the head impact simulation. The objective function was constructed using the response surface methed (RSM). When the obtained optimum values were not inside the region of interest, the design proceduers were repeated by changing the region of interest. Finally, an A-pillar trim with rib-structures, which resulred in HIC(d) value under 850 for 15 mph head-trim impact, was developed.

  • The evidence of the Cargo tank volume is very important between Buyer and Seller for agreement each other for LNG Ship. CTS(Custody Transfer System) Radar type level gauging sensor to be measured for cargo volume. The data of Trim & List sensor to be compensated for measuring data which is original data of the CTS sensor. The latest days, the Buyer would have posed a problem both the location and the accuracy of trim/list sensor specially neared final stage of the ship's delivery. So, we would like to report the introducing to the trim/list sensor and the confirmation of actual location for the trim/list sensor.

  • In this study reviewed the validity of the estimated optimum trim by the numerical analysis. For this purpose, the numerical analysis of the trim optimization for 6500TEU container carrier and capesize bulk carrier were carried out using Star-CCM+, which results were compared with the results of model tests. The reliability of results of the numerical analysis was confirmed via comparing the resistance determined by the numerical analysis and model test. The performance of self-propulsion at each trim conditions were estimated using the calculated resistance by numerical analysis. The BHP at each trim condition were calculated by estimated performance of self-propulsion, which trend of results were confirmed similar trend of result of model test.

  • Tripartite motif protein 25 (TRIM25), mediates K63-linked polyubiquitination of Retinoic acid inducible gene I (RIG-I) that is crucial for downstream antiviral interferon signaling. Here, we demonstrate that TRIM25 is required for melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (MDA5) and MAVS mediated activation of NF-${\kappa}B$ and interferon production. TRIM25 is required for the full activation of NF-${\kappa}B$ at the downstream of MAVS, while it is not involved in IRF3 nuclear translocation. Mechanical studies showed that TRIM25 is involved in TRAF6-mediated NF-${\kappa}B$ activation. These collectively indicate that TRIM25 plays an additional role in RIG-I/MDA5 signaling other than RIG-I ubiquitination via activation of NF-${\kappa}B$.

  • The primary objective of the current work is to obviously analyze regarding effects of trim conditions of a ship on resistance performance using model test and CFD. Model tests at a towing tank are conducted to investigate resistance for trim conditions at the given same displacement. Measured resistance shows small but distinct differences according to trim conditions. However, these differences are difficult to be clarified by measured physical quantities and wave pattern analysis from model tests. CFD is employed for the assessment of resistance performance according to trim conditions. The flow computation is conducted considering free surface and dynamic trim using a commercial CFD code (STAR-CCM+). The initiative of the present work is to systematically demonstrate pressure resistance acting on each region of divided finite zones of ship surface along the length and draught direction of surface when pressure distribution on the ship is interpreted. Also, a standard to assess the pressure resistance applied on the divided regions of a ship is established.

  • Vessels are traditionally optimized for a single condition, normally the contract speed at the design draft. The actual operating conditions quite often differ significantly. At other speed and draft combinations, adjusting the trim can often be used to reduce the hull resistance. Changing the trim is easily done by shifting ballast water. There are several ways to assess the effect of the trim on the hull resistance and fuel consumption, including in-service measurements, model tests, and CFD. In this paper, CFD is employed for the assessment of the resistance performance according to the trim conditions. The commercial CFD code of the STAR-CCM+ is utilized to evaluate the ship’s resistance performance on a 6,800 TEU container ship. To validate of the effectiveness of STAR-CCM+, the experimental result of the KCS hull form is compared with the result from STAR-CCM+. It is found that the total resistance of the 6,8000 TEU container ship was reduced by 2.6% in the case of a 1-m trim by head at 18knots.

  • A sensor fault detection method for small turbo shaft engine considering multiple trim conditions is proposed. This engine is used in a helicopter. Firstly, under multiple trim conditions, we derive the linearized models from a nonlinear model which includes engine, rotor and feedback control loop. As a fault detection method, we adopt the Kalman filter based method. To keep continuity of estimates between the changes of trim conditions, we reconfigure the initial values of state variables at trim changes. We detect the faults with two steps that when the first filter does not alarm the faults for some sensors, the second filter is runned for other sensor. Via some simulations we show that the proposed method works well under multiple trim conditions.
