무절연 가청주파수(AF) 궤도회로 시험기준 고찰 (A review of test norm of Non-insulated AF Track Circuit)

  • Jointless AF(Audio Frequency) Track Circuit is more comfortable than exist joint track circuit. This electrical circuit's function is detection train on rail, and transmit information between wayside and vehicle. 'Korea Railroad Corporation' proposed for revision of the Korean railway standards(KRS SG 0038-06 R, 2006.5.16) "Non-insulated AF Track Circuit". This proposal equipment developed to extend use for station of National Railway exist line. According to test standards Korean railway safety law and its ordinances, which were committed to Korea Railroad Research Institute, the professional committee 'Railway facility sector II' have helded on January in 2007. In this investigation, the changed test norm will be review the difference of important function test standards of new version to conform effectivity and safety test procedure according to the KS A 1025.

고속철도 차음구조의 차음성능: 주름 및 압출재의 투과손실 (Sound Insulation Performance of the Panel Structures in High Speed Train: Transmission Loss of the Corrugated and Extruded Panels)

  • Sound transmission characteristics are investigated on the corrugated steel and aluminium extruded panels used for railway vehicles. Sewell-Sharp-Cremer(SSC) model, equivalent orthotropic plate model and equivalent mass law are applied to predict the sound transmission loss. The predicted values of the sound transmission loss are compared with the measured values. The reliability and the limitation of the prediction models are investigated. For the corrugated panels and honeycomb panels, the coincidence and local resonance severely deteriorate the sound insulation performance around the corresponding frequency bands. The result of the study shows that the equivalent orthotropic plate model and the SSC model can be used as good prediction models, if the coincidence frequency or local resonance frequency is correctly applied.

  • In recent years, there has been an increasing intest in control of active automotive suspension systems with a goal of improving the ride comfort and safety. Many approaches for these purposes have used linearized models of the suspension's dynamics, allowing the use of linear control theory. However, the linearized model does not well descriibe the actual system behavior which is inherently nonlinear. The object of this study is to develop a neuro controlled active suspension for the ride quality improvement. After obtaining active control law using optimal control theory, we use the artificial neural network to train the neuro controller to learn the relation of road input and control force. Form the numerical results, we found that back propagation learning does show good pattern matching and vertical acceleration of the driver's seat and sprung mass.

모형기차의 동역학 해석 검증을 위한 실험장치 구성 (Experimental Setup for Dynamic Analysis and Verification of Model Trains)

  • A model trains must have similitude with its original model not only in shape but also in motion. Motion characteristics of a model train under considerations are maximum velocity in straight and circular tracks and stopping distance. Equations of motions are derived to obtain maximum speed and stopping distance based on the Newton's Second Law and the energy principal. To accurately predict traction and resistance force between wheel and rail. wheel slip, or creepage, is taken into consideration. To verify the equations of motion, various experiments have been carried out including measurement of gear efficiency, location of mass center, rolling resistance force, traction force, slip, maximum velocity and stopping distance. This paper addresses how the experiments are setup and carried out in detail. Also the results of experiments are compared with the analytical prediction, which showed good agreements with each other.

철도산업의 발전방향에 관한 기초 연구 (The Basic Study on the development of rail industry)

  • In this paper, I illustrate the situations and problems rail industry is faced with. The rail industry has been suffering deficiency in investment with low technical level. Lacks of strategic marketing plans and low competitiveness in the industry led to a small portion of modal share, estimated at 12.6% in 2001(person base). Recently, rail industry has caught up with the current flow of changes. For example, a prototype of Korea high speed train had been manufactured to be successfully tested on commercial track. And the amount of rail investment increased gradually. The rail industry of EU nations, America, Japan reveals good outcomes, which keeps the balance in the black thanks to growth of investment in rail and high technical level. I have come up with some ideas for improvement, which I believe will be helpful to lead the rail industry. First, I suggest the upbringing of rail industry and technology on a national level. Second, expanding the rail network with the rail modernization. Lastly, I think it is crucial to establish a law and institution before we advance into overseas markets.

순전기자동차용 타여자직류기의 속도제어기 설계 (Design of a Speed Controller for the Separately Excited DC Motor in Application on Pure Electric Vehicles)

  • In this paper, an robust adaptive backstepping controller is proposed for the speed control of separately excited DC motor in pure electric vehicles. A general electric drive train of PEV is conceptually rearrange to major subsystems as electric propulsion, energy source, and auxiliary subsystem and the load torque is modeled by considering the aerodynamic, rolling resistance and grading resistance. Armature and field resistance, damping coefficient and load torque are considered as uncertainties and noise generated at applying load torque to motor is also considered. It shows that the backstepping algorithm can be used to solve the problems of nonlinear system very well and robust controller can be designed without the variation of adaptive law. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

교통편익증진 및 도심재창출을 위한 역세권개발 전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on the strategy of station areas development for transportation convenience and urban regeneration.)

  • The station area development planed to improve the old and narrowed station and to enhance the train passenger's convenience through private capital attraction in the past. But it has been faced with difficulty for the creative of transfer demand. Because of lean upon building facilities were caused by shortage of business profitability as to development of the upside a railway line, and lack of public utilities. The station area development requires that it's trend to large scale development of station areas, korail's direct development, deputation of specialty company to development, collaboration between local government and korail in development, diversification of process & installed facility, building multi-transfer center and one-stop transfer system. This trend caused by low profitability in development of the upside a railway line. The purposes of study are to make the system and law reflected to the property of station area development, investment in kind of needed land, and change railroad areas to high-rise and complex development, and make a forum between government and korail, etc.

다축 구동 시스템의 정밀 위치동기 제어(I) (High Precision Position Synchronous Control in a Multi-Axes Driving System)

  • Multi-axes driving system is more suitable for FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) compared with a conventional single-azis driving system. It has some merits such as flexibility in operation, improvement of net working rate, maintenance free because of no gear train, etc. However, studies on position synchronous control for high precision in the multi-axes driving system are not enough. In this paper, a new method of position synchronous control is suggested in order to apply to the multi- axes driving system. The proposed method is structured very simply using speed and position controller based on PID control law. Especially, the position controller is designed to keep position error to minimize by controlling either speed of two motors. The effectiveness of the proposed method is successfully confirmed through several experiments.

축소모델을 통한 고속철도 차량의 진동특성 해석 및 검증 (Analysis of the Vibration Characteristics of a High-Speed Train using a Scale Model)

  • 철도차량의 실차 규모 동특성시험은 설비 구축, 대차의 제작 및 시험 조건의 설정등과 관련하여 비용, 시간 등의 증대로 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 연구에서는 실험실 환경에서 차량 진동문제와 안전성을 평가하기 위한 목적으로 축소모델을 제작하고, 개발된 축소모델이 해당 철도차량의 동특성을 정밀하게 모사하는지를 검증하는 평가방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 축소이론은 Jaschinski 상사기법의 이론을 적용하였으며, 1/10 축소모델을 구축하였다. 본 연구에서는 축소 대차의 상하 진동에 초점을 맞혀 시스템을 제작하였다. 시스템은 구동부, 보기, 대차 등 3개의 하부구조로 구성되었으며, 실제 차량으로 환산 시 400km/hr까지 실험가능 하도록 목표로 하였다. 축소 대차의 설계 및 제작과 함께, 동역학해석 프로그램인 ADAMS/View를 이용하여 고유치 해석을 수행하였다. 전산해석으로 도출된 고유진동수는 실험결과와 비교 분석되었다. 시스템이 가지고 있는 초기 5개의 자유도에 상응한 고유진동수를 비교한 결과, 개발된 상사 이론에 따른 축소모형은 충분한 신뢰성을 확보한 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 축소모델은 대학실험실에서 차량진동모드를 모사하는 용도로 기획되었으나, 추후 자유도의 추가보완을 통해 고속철도 차량의 대차와 보기구조 동특성 해석에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

실제기체 상태방정식을 적용한 열압축기 내부유동에 대한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis for the Internal Flow of Thermal Vapor Compressor with real gas equation of state)

  • 열압축기는 고압 증기를 이용하여 저압 증기를 중간압으로 이송하는 일종의 이젝터이다. 이젝터에 대한 기존의 수치해석 연구는 대부분 작동유체를 이상기체로 취급하고 있으나 상변화가 발생하는 경우 이상기체 거동에서 크게 벗어날 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이상기체 상태방정식 대신 Redlich-Kwong 방정식을 적용하여 열압축기 내부 유동을 수치 해석하였고, realizable k-${\epsilon}$ 모델과 SST k-${\omega}$ 모델을 비교한 결과 SST k-${\omega}$ 모델이 shock diamond 패턴과 박리 및 난류경계층을 잘 예측하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 실제기체 상태방정식을 사용한 경우가 이상기체 상태방정식을 사용한 경우에 비해 상대적으로 디퓨저 입구 부분과 디퓨저 목부분에서 에너지 손실이 많은 것을 알 수 있었으며, 디퓨저 출구부분에서 shock train에 의한 압력상승은 상대적으로 적으나 pseudo shock에 의한 압력상승은동일한 것으로 확인되었다.
