논의 관개용수 수질에 따른 토양심도별 영양물질 분석 (Concentration Profile of Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Paddy Soils with Irrigation Water Quality)

  • 하수처리수의 농업용수 재이용에 따른 영향을 평가하기 위해 논의 관개용수 수질에 따른 토양심도별 영양물질 분석을 시행하였다. 시험지구는 경기도 수원시 병점에 위치하며, 실험에 사용한 관개용수는 1) 지하수(TP#1), 2) 하수처리수(TP#2), 3) 재이용수(TP#3; 하수처리수+여과+UV소독)로 분류하여 관개하였다. 토양은 표토를 포함하여 20 cm 간격으로 60 cm까지 토양 심도별로 샘플링하였으며. 총질소(TN)와 총인(TP) 항목을 분석하였다. 분석결과 표토에서는 관개용수 수질의 차이에 의해 하수처리수 및 재이용수를 관개한 처리구 토양에서 영양물질의 함량이 높게 나타났다. 그러나 심도가 증가할수록 관개용수 수질에 의한 영향이 줄어들어 하수처리수의 농업용수 재이용으로 인해 관개용수 내 영양물질의 함량이 높아져도 심토까지는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • BACnet is a standard data communication protocol for building automation and control systems. MS/TP is most widely used LAN protocol for data communication among field devices in the BACnet-based building automation. In this study, the performance of MS/TP protocol is investigated using a simulation model. This study evaluates the delay characteristics of MS/TP being used to deliver a BACnet application service. Analysis of the simulation results was used to identify the network parameters that influence the performance of BACnet application service and to develop recommendatioins that should be considered when designing and operating BACnet systems.

  • In 1995, the Republic of Korea started to establish Techno Park (TP) in order to develop the regional industry while promoting the balanced development of the land. By 2008, 18TPs were established nationwide and have become cradles for developing local industries. And recently evolved forms of TP such as Daedeok Techno Valley and Pangyo Techno Valley emerged. In addition, 19 Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation (CCEI) were established nationwide and Tech-Incubator Program for start-ups (TIPS) was introduced to support and mentor start-ups. TPs in Korea become bureaucratic in course of time, and the new trial of innovation of TP is needed. In Korea, professional TIPS-accelerators mentoring and investing start-ups have a history of only five years. But they support and mentor start-ups efficiently, and have obtained good results. In this paper, we propose that TP attract TIPS-accelerators actively and collaborate with each other to support and mentor start-ups and SMEs effectively.

  • Future war needs a lot of changes for military organization. In this circumstance, it is importance the role of the Military Equipment Command Separation (MECS). In case of Korea Marine Corps, in spite of being MECS, Marine Corps has formed supply chain depended on Amy and Navy even it. Thus we proposed a new SCM of Marine Corps with Sense and Response concept. There are many problems and arguments to implement of new SCM. Therefore it is essential solving the problems but we don't know core problems and right solving directions. So, In this study, we present core problems deduction and selection of solving direction using TP(Thinking Process).

유량-부하량 관계식을 이용한 용담호 유입하천의 영양염류 유입량 변동특성 (Variational Characteristics of Nutrient Loading in Inflow Streams of the Yongdam Reservoir Using Flow-Loading Equation)

  • The measurements of nutrient and runoff in 4 streams have been performed before and after the rainfall in order to estimate nutrient loads in the Yongdam reservoir. The equations for the relationship between the flow and the loads in each stream could be estimated by the regression analysis. R2 of TN showed the range from 0.95 to 0.99 and the range of R2 for TP was 0.90~0.95 based on the results of the regression analyses. In 2002, total loadings from the upstream to the Yongdam reservoir were TN 1,175 ton/year, TP 69 ton/year. There were 64.9% of TN and 72.3% of TP during 4 months as the flood season. Due to the rainfall, the load of TP was higher than one of TN in Yongdam reservoir.

  • In network-based control system, measurement and control information is delivered by the network messages. Therefore, the performance of control system is directly affected by the performance of network system. System engineers need to evaluate the performance of network system to maintain the entire system in stable condition. BACnet is an international standard data communication protocol especially designed for building automation and control systems. In this study, experimental performance evaluation methodologies of BACnet MS/TP protocol and their practical evaluation results are presented.

Cherry Tomatoes Ameliorate Scopolamine-induced Amnesia in Mice

  • Cherry tomatoes are rich in antioxidants, which may protect against neurodegeneration and consequent memory loss. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of cherry tomatoes on scopolamine-induced amnesia in mice. Male ICR mice (4 weeks old) were maintained for 4 weeks on a diet containing 10 or 20% tomato powder (TP), and then administered scopolamine (1 mg/kg body weight, i.p.) 45 min before memory testing. Passive avoidance and Morris water maze testing revealed that scopolamine-induced amnesia was significantly reduced in the TP groups compared to the non TP-received (control) group. Accordingly, acetylcholinesterase activities in the serum and brain of TP groups were lower than those in the control group. These findings suggest that cherry tomatoes may be useful for the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases such as amnesia and Alzheimer's disease.

  • 최근 이동 사용자가 늘어나고 기업간의 사내망 구축이 증가하면서 Virtual Private Network(VPN) 서비스에 대한 요구가 많아지게 되었다. VPN 서비스를 위한 표준으로 제안된 L2TP는 PPTP.L2F와 호환이 가능하며, IPx, Appletalk 등 다중 프로토콜 지원이 가능하다는 장점을 가진다. L2TP는 다중 터널, 다중 세션을 지원하며 터널의 보안을 위해 터널 인증 시 CHAP과 유사한 기법으로 상대 시스템 인증이 가능하고 제어 메시지 암호화와 같은 기능을 통해 외부의 침입자로부터 터널을 안전하게 보호한다. 또한 확장성을 위해 제어 메시지에 사용되는 속성 값들을 각각의 고유한 속성과 그 값들의 가변적인 집합으로 구성하여 전송하는 기법을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LSTP의 특징을 다른 터널링 프로토콜들과 비교, 분석하고 주요 기능을 구현하는 것을 주목적으로 한다.

AnnAGNPS 모형을 이용한 수변구역의 비점오염물질 제거능 산정 (Estimation of Nonpoint Pollutant Removal Capacity in the Buffer Strip with AnnAGNPS Model)

  • AnnAGNPS model would be applied to simulate the pollutant removal capacity with the buffer strip in the Deachung reservoir watershed. In 2002, 2,270 tons of TN and 221 tons of TP were discharged from the nonpoint source pollutants in this watershed. During the rainy season, from June to September, 66.4% of TN and 71.9% of TP resulted from nonpoint source loads. AnnAGNPS model was also used to simulate the nutrients removal capacity from the buffer strip under the condition that the present landuse would be changed to forest. As the result of simulation, the removal rates of nutrients from the buffer strip of Daecheong reservoir watershed are 406 tons of TN, 39 tons of TP, which means reduction rates are TN 17.9%, TP 17.8%, respectively.

  • Companies adopted a program called Six Sigma, in order to make fundamental changes in the way the company operated to fulfill customers' expectations. Six Sigma reduces the occurrence of defects. This approach derives the overall process of selection the right projects based on their potential to improve performance metrics and selection and training the right people to get the business results. However, in the course of Six Sigma process steps, companies are in the face of problems. This study is to solve the problems using TP(Thinking Process) of TOC(Theory of Constraints). TOC is methodology for solving key problem in system which is called Constraints. Nowadays, its application is going to be wide and its concept is being implemented. In this paper, it is showed possibility of application TOC to Six Sigma.
