  • The purpose of this study is to provide new style for fashion illustration fo different image of Korean middle aged women. The research method is as follows. First, we make basic style base on The Korea Industrial Advancement Administration\`s Korean standard stomatype. Second, it give variety to body\`s rate and make each different 8 style. The subject are 144 college students who majoring clothing, fashion design and they have responded to the questionnaires. Questionnaires were taken from April, 1998 to Jan. 1999. Data were analyzes by analysis of variance, ANOVA test, Dunkun test, SPSS. PC/sup +/. As a result of this study, we found this following conclusions, 1. Well-proportion style have the exaggerated shoulder and the extended body at the same rate below waist line than basic style. 2. Reduction and extension need stability and well balanced. 3. Fashion illustration of middle aged women\`s clothing expression is not proper too narrow width, too long length of legs. 4. To making length, it is award well-proportion have too long hand or too long arm.

  • The variation of HAZ toughness with nitrogen content and weld cooling rate was investigated and interpreted in terms of both microstructure and the amount of free nitrogen. The presence of free nitrogen in HAZ was investigated by internal friction measurement and its amount was measured by hydrogen hot extraction analysis. Both nitrogen content and weld cooling rate influenced HAZ microstructure and high toughness was obtained at a mixed microstructure of acicular ferrite, feffite sideplate and polygonal ferrite. If nitrogen content is too low or cooling rate is too fast, bainitic microstructure is obtained and toughness is low. On the other hand, if nitrogen content is too high or cooling rate is too slow, coarse polygonal ferritic microstructure is obtained and toughness is deteriorated again. ill addition to the microstructural change, high nitrogen content also resulted in a large amount of free nitrogen. Therefore, nitrogen content should be kept as low as possible even if the mixed micostructure is obtained. In this experimental condition, the maximum toughness was obtained at 0.006% nitrogen content when weld cooling time ($\Delta$t$_{8}$5/)) is 60s.TEX>5/)) is 60s.

  • This study is dealing with sound of Hitchcock's movie <The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956)> from Peirce's semiotic perspective. This paper examined Peirce's theory prior to semiotic discussion, and analyzed the three elements of sound(speech, noise, music) depending on the type of sign that he presented. Music is possible to express emotions as an index through intervals. The instrument sound under firstness works as the element of narrative and it may be a dynamic object, transferred to the dicisign of secondness. Also, a word in speech is possible to represent an object allusively through an icon in the film. Noise and music as an index are serving to increase the tension of film. Meanwhile, two different genres of music on the juxtaposition are in charge of narrative function as a dicisign. Thus, Hitchcock's sound has various semiotic qualities of signification depending on the context.

  • For large vocabulary speech recognition using HMMs, context-dependent subword units have been often employed. However, when context-dependent phone models are used, they result in a system which has too may parameters to train. The problem of too many parameters and too little training data is absolutely crucial in the design of a statistical speech recognizer. Furthermore, when building large vocabulary speech recognition systems, unseen triphone problem is unavoidable. In this paper, we propose the modified phonetic decision tree algorithm for the automatic prediction of unseen triphones which has advantages solving these problems through following two experiments in Japanese contexts. The baseline experimental results show that the modified tree based clustering algorithm is effective for clustering and reducing the number of states without any degradation in performance. The task experimental results show that our proposed algorithm also has the advantage of providing a automatic prediction of unseen triphones.

  • A new process for estimating the natural frequency and the corresponding damping ratio in large structures is discussed. In a practical situation, it is very difficult to analyze large structures precisely because they are too complex to model using the finite element method and too heavy to excite using the exciting force method; in particular, the measured signals are seriously influenced by ambient noise. In order to identify the structural impulse response associated with the information of natural frequency and the corresponding damping ratio in large structures, the analysis process, a so-called "multiresolution blind system identification algorithm" which combines Mallat algorithm and the bicepstrum method. High time-frequency concentration is attained and the phase information is kept. The experimental result has demonstrated that the new analysis process exploiting the natural frequency and the corresponding damping ratio of structural response are useful tools in structural analysis application.

  • Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves have been frequently used to compare probability models applied to medical problems. Though the curves are a measure of the discriminatory power of a model. they do not reflect the model's accuracy. A supplementary accuracy curve is derived which will be coincident with the ROC curve if the model is reliable. will be above the ROC curve if the model's probabilities are too high or below if they are too low. A clinical example of this new graphical presentation is given.

  • Effective use of debugging in computer science education is a topic that has received little attention. Existing tools either are too overwhelming for the novice or are too basic and inflexible. Furthermore, the integration of the debugger into complex IDEs have unfamiliar debuggers from students, resulting in a harmful proliferation of console I/O. In this paper, a new stand-alone educational debugging tool is presented, with simple but powerful tools for easily observing and modifying program execution state. This tool is analyzed from an user perspective, and is compared with existing tools.

  • Referred to "Jeungchijunseung(證治準繩" ), "Kyungakjunsu(景岳全書)", and "Uihakyipmoon(醫學入門)", We got the conclusion on the contradiction of KwanKyuk in "Naegyung(內經)" and "Nankyung(難經)" like below. First, It can be defined the fact as Naekwanoikyuk(內關外格) in "Nankyung(難經)" that in "Naegyung(內經)", the Cold from out is too strong that the Yanggi is isolated and vomitted and spread to Hacho(下焦). Because, it is the same phenomenon in "Nankyung(難經)", Yanggi is too strong that invade the stage of Eumgi, and in the flow, overturning situation appears and thru isolation. Same above, We can also understand the fact as Oikwannaekyuk(外關內格) in "Nankyung(難經)" that the Ileum(溢陰, same as Naekwan(內關) or Kwaneum(關陰) in "Naegyung(內經)" ), Heat from Mixed disease(雜病) is too strong that Eumgi is isolated and spreading to Sangcho(上焦). Because, it is the same phenomenon in "Nankyung(難經)" , Eumgi is too strong that invade the stage of Yanggi, and in the flow, overflowing situation appears and thru vomitting.

  • In Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), radiation is delivered in a multiple of Multileaf Collimator (MLC) subfields. A subfield with a small leaf-to-leaf opening is highly sensitive to a leaf-positional error. We introduce a method of identifying and rejecting IMRT plans that are highly sensitive to a systematic MLC gap error (sensitivity to possible random leaf-positional errors is not addressed here). There are two sources of a systematic MLC gap error: Centerline Mechanical Offset (CMO) and, in the case of a rounded end MLC, Radiation Field Offset (RFO). In IMRT planning system, using an incorrect value of RFO introduces a systematic error ΔRFO that results in all leaf-to-leaf gaps that are either too large or too small by (2ㆍΔRFO), whereas assuming that CMO is zero introduces systematic error ΔCMO that results in all gaps that are too large by ΔCMO = CMO. We introduce a concept of the Average Leaf Pair Opening (ALPO) that can be calculated from a dynamic MLC delivery file. We derive an analytic formula for a fractional average fluence error resulting from a systematic gap error of Δ$\chi$ and show that it is inversely proportional to ALPO; explicitly it is equal to, (equation omitted) in which $\varepsilon$ is generally of the order of 1 mm and Δx=2ㆍΔRFO+CMO. This analytic relationship is verified with independent numerical calculations.

  • Recent commercial systems are too large and too complex to restructure their design by hand without tools and cost too much time and effort. This thesis presents a restructuring approach using cohesion and coupling of classes to change object-oriented designs automatically. The matrix which represents the relation between methods is defined by distance between methods using cohesion and coupling, Class restructuring starts to isolate to dividing class, selects the class to have the lowest cohesion and combines the selected class with the closest class.
