Objective : The water extract of Bojungikgi-tang (BTE) composed with Ginseng Radix, Astragali Radix, Angelicae gigantis Radix, Atractylodes Rhizoma alba, Aurantii nobilis Pericarpium, Glycyrrhizae Radix, Cimicifuga Rhizoma, and Bupleuri Radix and it has been traditionally used for chronic diseases or weakness after illness in oriental countries. However, little is known about the effects of aqueous extract of BTE on trimellitic anhydride (TMA)-induced contact hypersensitivity (CHS). Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effects of BTE on TMA-induced CHS in BALB/c mice.Methods : In this study, the extract of BTE was prepared by extracting with distilled water at 100℃ for 2.5 h. The extract was freeze-dried following filtration through 0.45 μm filter. Mice were orally administrated with or without BTE extract of different doses (25-200 ㎎/㎏/day) for 28 days. During the challenge period, mice were externally applied with different doses of BTE extract one time per day 30 min before TMA treatment. I examined the effects of BTE on the serum levels of IgE, IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b, nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E₂ (PGE₂) production in isolated peritoneal macrophages, Th2 cytokine production in isolated spleen cells, ear swelling responses, and the leukocyte infiltration induced by TMA.Results : The orally and externally administration of BTE dose-dependently reduced the serum levels of hapten-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE), IgG1 titer, and PGE₂ production as well as ear swelling responses and leukocyte infiltration in TMA-induced BALB/c mice. The levels of NO and PGE₂ production from peritoneal macrophages stimulated with TMA-BSA were markedly suppressed by pretreatment with BTE in a concentration dependent manner. Furthermore, the levels of Th2 cytokines (IL-4, IL-5, IL-13) production from spleen cells stimulated with ConA were markedly suppressed by BTE treatment in a concentration dependent manner.Conclusions : These results suggest that BTE treatment suppresses chronic contact hypersensitivity, and it can be assumed that the suppression of ear swelling, serum IgE, NO and PGE₂ levels, leukocyte infiltration, and Th2 cytokines in an animal model. Therefore, these properties may contribute to the strong anti-CHS response effect of BTE.

CHCl$_3$, CHCl$_3$ : CH$_2$Cl$_2$(1:1) 및 CH$_2$Cl$_2$ 용매 중에서 치환 aniline[aniline, N,N-dimethylaniline(N,N-DMA), 2,6-dimethylaniline(2,6-DMA) 및 2,4,6-trimethylaniline(2,4,6-TMA)]과 iodine간의 charge transfer complex 형성에 대하여 전도도법을 이용하여 속도론적으로 조사하였다. 초기에 일시적으로 생성된 outer charge transfer complex가 inner complex로 변환되는 과정에 있어서 치환 aniline의 electron donor 및 polar medium으로서의 작용에 대하여 고찰해 보았다. 또한 변환의 빠르기는 medium의 dielectric environment와 치환 aniline의 pK$_a$값에 의존하였으며 2,4,6-TMA, 2,6-DMA, aniline, N,N-DMA의 순서로 증가하였다. Chloroform 용매 중에서 2.5M 농도의 치환 aniline에 대해서 얻은 ${\Delta}H^{\neq}$값은 N,N-DMA, 3.47kcal/mol:aniline, 4.25kcal/mol:2,6-DMA, 7.79kcal/mol:2,4,6-TMA, 7.96kcal/mol:${\Delta}S^{\neq}$값은 모든 aniline에 있어서 -41~-55cal/mol${\cdot}$K의 큰 음의 값을 나타내었다.

Purpose: This study was to explore the cognitive function of Korean-Chinese stroke patient in China. Method: The study sample was 100 who were possible to communicate and agreed. The data were collected from one Brain's hospital at Yanji in China and by trained nurse from December 12, 2005 to April 28, 2006. The measurement tools were Digit span, Trail making, and MMSE-K. The data were analysed by SPSS Win 11.5 using frequency, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The mean score of DSF was 5.07, 3.42 of DSB, 161.37 of TMA, 229.28 of TMB, 22.64 of MMSE-K. There was a significant difference in DSF (F=6.35, p=.001), DSB (F=6.10, p=.001), TMA (F=3.53, p=.018), TMB (F=3.26, p=.025), MMSE-K score (F=12.97, p=.000) according to age, and DSF (F=6.67, p=.000), DSB (F=6.01, p=.000), TMA (F=5.82, p=.001), TMB (F=6.23, p=.001), and MMSE-K score (F=13.02, p=.000) according to educational level, and DSF (F=5.35, p=.006), DSB (F=3.16, p=.047), TMA (F=3.30, p=.041), TMB (F=3.42, p=.037), and MMSE-K score (F=4.95, p=.009) according to duration of disease, and DSB (F=3.54, p=.018), and MMSE-K (F=6.05, p=.001) according to frequencies of hospitalization. There was high correlation between DSF and DSB (r=.581, p=.000), TMA and TMB (r=.936, p=.000), MMSE-K and DSF (r=.579, p=.000), MMSE-K and DSB (r=.591, p=.000), DSF and TMA (r=.727, p=.000), and DSF and TMB (r=.721, p=.000). Conclusion: The cognitive evaluation score of Korean-Chinese stroke patients in China was in normal limit. The age, educational level, duration of disease and income were significant demographic characteristic affecting cognitive function. Further study need to compare the cognitive function of Korean-Chinese stoke patients in China and stoke patients in Korea.

본 연구에서는 MLCC 그린칩의 예열공정에서 나타난 수축 열변형 현상을 관찰하기 위해 각 구간별 온도를 달리하여 열-기계분석 Thermo-mechanical Anlaysis(TMA)으로 크립 특성 실험이 진행되었다. 수축 변형이 없는 안정화 구간을 확인하였으며, 분석결과를 바탕으로 제조기술에 적용가능한 간단한 수식을 이끌어내었다.

This paper presents a study on the design and simulation of bearing only target motion analysis to enhance the TMA capability using SONAR in underwater environment. A bearing only target motion analysis algorithm using aperiod bearing input signals has been developed and simulated in the MATLAB.

마치 살아있는 것처럼 움직이는 영상을 보고자 하는 인류의 욕구가 19세기에 다양한 광학 기구들을 낳게 했는데, 이 중의 하나가 영화이다. 이러한 필름을 기초로 한 투사기술은 그러한 인간의 욕구를 작게나마 해소시켰지만, 수평선 저 너머에서 일어나는 일을 동시에 눈으로 보고 싶어하는 꿈을 실현시켜 주진 못했다. 하지만 이러한 생방송을 할 수 없는 필름기술의 한계는 CRT라고 하는 전자 투사 디스플레이(electronic projection display)의 도움으로 극복되었다. (중략)

Sympathetic ganglionic stimulants (DMPP, Wy-615, TMA and McN-A-343) produced pressor response in chickens anesthetized with phenobarbital sodium. In adrenalectomized chickens the pressor activity of DMPP, Wy -615 and TMA was less than in normal chickens but that of McN-A-343 was unchanged. Hexamethonium (20 mg/kg) and chlorisondamine (5 mg/kg), ganglionic blocking agents, reduced the pressor response to DMPP and Wy-615 but did not abolish the response. The pressor effect of McN-A-343 was not potentiated by the ganglionic flocking agents, but abolished by atropine.
