디지털 TV 방송을 수신하기 위한 디지털 TV 수신기의 핵심 부품을 5개의 IC로 개발하였다. 5개의 칩 세트는 VSB로 변조된 신호를 수신하기 위한 2개의 채널 디코더 IC와 3개의 비디오 신호처리 IC로 구성되어 있다. VSB 수신용 IC는 Syne 및 Timing 복구와 채널 등화 기능을 수행하는 SyncEq와 전송시의 오류를 정정하는 VSB 채널 디코더로 구성되며, 비디오 신호 처리부는 MPEG2 다중화 방식의 Transport Stream을 디코딩하기 위한 역다중화용 IC와 MPEG2 비디오 압축/신장 규격의 MP@HL의 비트스트림을 디코딩하기 위한 비디오 디코더 및 18가지 비디오 포맷을 단일한 출력 포멧으로 변환하여 주며 OSD 등 디스플레이 기능을 위한 비디오 디스플레이 처리용 IC로 구성되어 있다. 이 칩 세트는 VHDL로 설계되었으며 RTL 시뮬레이션과 하드웨어 Emulator로 시스템 레벨에서 검증되었고 0.6u, TLM, CMOS 공정을 이용하여 제작되었다.

The use of a thin film of indium between the ITO and the $n^{+}$-InP contact layers for InP/InGaAs HPTs was studied without degrading its excellent optical transmittance properties. ITO/$n^{+}$-InP ohmic contact was successfully achieved by the deposition of Indium and thermal annealing. The specific contact resistance of about 6.6$\times$$10^{-4}$$\Omega\textrm{cm}^2$ was measured by use of the transmission line method (TLM). However, as the thermal annealing was just performed to ITO/$n^{+}$-InP contact without the deposition of Indium between ITO and $n^{+}$-InP, it exhibited schottky characteristics. In the applications, the DC characteristics of InP/InGaAs HPTs with ITO emitter contacts was compared with that of InP/InGaAs HBTs with the opaque emitter contacts.

The sorption of UO$_2$$^{2+}$showed ionic strength independece for goethite and dependence for kaolinite. In the presence of carbonate, the sorption decreased in the weakly alkaline pH range becase of the formation of aqueous U(VI)-carbonate complexes. The sorption of UO$_2$$^{2+}$onto goethite and kaolinite under various experimental conditions was successfully interpreted using a surface complexation modeling, named triple layer model (TLM). The best fit to the experimental data was obtained by the FITEQL program, and then evaluated with available spectroscopic data. The results showed the versatility of surface complexation modeling over empirical one to predict UO$_2$$^{2+}$ sorption behavior.avior.

탄화규소 반도체에 대한 오옴성 금속 접촉 성질을 조사하기 위해 3종류의 금속 (Ni, Co, Cu)을 세척한 탄화규소 반도체 위에 직접 증착하여 전기적 성질을 조사 비교하였다. 이들 금속에 대한 오옴성 성질은 금속종류 뿐만 아니라 열처리조건에 대해서도 크게 좌우됨을 알 수 있었다. 열처리는 급속열처리 장치를 이용한 진공상태 및 환원 분위기에서 2-step 방법으로 시행하였다. 접합비 저항은 TLM 구조를 만들었으며 면저항$(R_s)$, 접촉저항$(R_c)$, 이동거리$(L_T)$, 패드간거리(d), 저항$(R_T)$ 값을 구하면 접합비저항$(\rho_c)$ 값을 구하여 알려진 계산식에 의해 추정하였다. 가장 양호한 결과는 Cu 금속에 의한 접촉 결과이었으며 접합비저항$(\rho_c)$은 $1.2\times10^{-6}{\Omega}cm^2$의 낮은 값을 얻을 수 있었다. 열처리는 진공보다 환원분위기에서 수행한 시편이 양호한 전기적 성질을 가짐을 알 수 있었다.

In this study, the characteristics of 3C-SiC ohmic contact were investigated. Titanium-tungsten(TiW) films were used for contact metalization. The ohmic contact resistivity between 3C-SiC and TiW was measured by HP4155 and then calculated with the circular transmission line method(C-TLM). And also the physical properties of TiW and the interface between TiW and 3C-SiC were analyzed using XRD and AES. TiW films make a good role of a diffusion barrier and their contact properties with 3C-SiC are stable at high temperature.

The systematic chirality investigations were made on the basic of the fact that zinc-binding tallysomycin (ZnTLMA) could have chiral centers (Zn, NC3, C6) at possible 4-, 5-, and 6-coordination models. Although our NMR data exhibit that the ligation sites are ${\beta}$-aminoalanine, ${\beta}$-hydroxyhistidine, and pyrimidine moiety, all possible coordination modes were tested out to see what kind of chiralities on NC3-C6 are favorable to each coordination mode. Tests were also made that take into account the specific configuration of functional groups, including ${\beta}$-aminoalanine, sugar ring, and ${\beta}$-hydroxyhistidine. Tests were finally extended to zinc-water binding and specific conformational studies by introducing various hydrogen bonding networks associated with the propionamide side chain and the carbamide group of mannose. Results of systematic chirality investigations exhibit that the S-S configuration of NC3-C6 is favorable to all of coordination models, but the R-S configuration, if exists at all, should have internal strain on C6 chiral center.

대황 추출물(RK)과 화학약품 1, 8-dihydroxy anthraquinone(AK)을 제제화하여 오이 흰가루병에 대한 약효, 약해 및 어독성을 조사하였다. 제제화한 RK와 AK 약제를 하우스에서 500배, 1000배 희석농도로 처리했을 경우 오이 흰가루병에 대하여 100%의 방제효과를 나타냈고, pot에서 2,000배, 3,000배, 5,000배 희석농도로 처리했을 때 모두 75% 이상의 방제효과를 나타냈다. 또 노지에서 4,000배, 5,000배 희석농도로 처리해도 75.3% 이상의 방제효과를 나타냈다. RK 약제는 250배 희석농도에서 오이에 약해가 없었으나 AK 약제는 250배 희석농도에서 약해가 있었다. 어독성은 두 약제 모두 반수치사농도(TLm)가 2ppm 이상으로 독성은 낮은 것으로 판정되었다.

A study on quinolone antibacterial, norfloxacin, was performed to apply for the control of bacterial diseases in eel (Anguilla japonica). Norfloxacin was proved excellent in antibacterial activity and sensitivity against fish bacterial pathogens when compared with the existing antibacterials and antibiotics. And any side effect was not observed during the period of indicated use. An outline of minimal inhibitory concentration was $0.03{\sim}0.1{\mu}g/ml$, $TLm_{48h}$ value was 3,500mg/l. The residual time of the day in fish body was less than 17 days and any pathological changes were not observed. The study has revealed that norfloxacin can be applied to treat some fish bacterial disease by the dosage of 100g/day/ton of fish body weight for about 3 days perorally. Further, norfloxacin may be used for the control of bacterial pathogens in eel.

The acute and subacute toxicity of fungicide folpet was evaluated in fingerings of common carp, Cyprinus carpio and goldfish, Carrassius auratus. Dipping of fishes for acute toxicity was performed for a period of 24h, and the TLm value(median tolerance limit) was 1.52 ppm in common carp and 1.45 ppm in goldfish. Severe damages were observed in various organs and among them, clubbing of gill lamella, lytic degeneration and vacuolation of liver cells, and epithelial edema of renal tubules were relatively prominent. The most significant changes were hyperbasophilic foci of liver cells in subacute toxicity test and these can imply the possibility of hepatocarcinogenecity of folpet.

In this paper, we propose the one-Ampere conductor method which is able to calculate the flux distribution conceptually and easily, and the improved winding method which suppresses space harmonics of magnetormotive force and enhances the coefficient of utilization of primary iron core in tubular linear induction motor. We carry out no-load test to verify effectiveness of proposed method and analyze characteristics by finite element method. As a result, performances are improved and propriety of primary iron core is enhanced comparing with conventional model.
