SECULAR VARIATION OF ZOOPLANKTON BIOMASS IN THE SOUTH SEA OF KOREA (한국 남해의 동물성 플랑크톤량의 경년 변화에 관한 연구)

  • The present paper deals with secular analysis of zooplankton biomass by statistical method in the south sea of Korea during the period of nine years from 1963 through 1971. Data were taken from the Annual Report of Oceanographic Observations, Fisheries Research and Development Agency, Korea. The trend value of annual variations in the 108 month period above was calculated by method of 12 month moving average, and a period analysis was made by ore of correlogram method using autocorrelation coefficients. The trend of zooplankton biomass shows periodical fluctuation for the period of 63 months with high interrelationships. The seasonal variation has teen obvious with growth phase twice a year, in April and October.

  • In this study, spray characteristics of the pressure swirl atomizer have teen investigated. Four atomizers with the different orifice diameter and five tangential ports with the different inlet number were fabricated. For the purpose of the measurement of the mean drop sine, Malvern particle sizer was used. And also discharge coefficient was measured and spray cone angle was measured by using shadow graphy method. As a result when the injection pressure was increased, mean drop size was decreased. And the dominant factor which influence on the spray characteristics of pressure swirl atomizer was orifice diameter.

However, Puncture breakdowns in porcelain insulators caused by weaking cement between metal fitting nad porcelain material. There is little puncture breakdown in Epoxy casting insulator. This paper presents electrical test results for the development of suspension insulator used Cycloaliphatic Epoxy resin.   • Up to now, collimators have teen generally produced by handwork and only a few companies have produced by semi-automatic system. Under this situation, automatic system for assembly of optical collimators has risen as a mast essential technique in the development of optical communication components. In this study, it was constructed to develop optical collimators with high functionality and we manufactured optical collimators with a GRIN rod lens and spherical lens using automatic system. Therefore, we worked a performance test through a comparison of collimators made by automatic system and handwork with angle augment, bean size. Also we selected a optimum assembly condition of GRIN rod lens and spherical lens. As a result, it brought a reduction of the tact time and an improvement of an efficiency and a productivity of optical collimators, therefore it was found that automatic system was indispensable for materialization of optical collimators with high functionality.

  • Several actuation mechanism for carton nanotubes has teen reported recently, including actuation by double-layer charge injection and ac voltages applyied to multiple electrodes. Carbon nanotube actuator based on double layer charge injection work well in electrolyte at low voltage. AC dielectrophoresis based on four electrode geometry demonstrated carton nanotubes in solution phase can be oriently manipulated by dielectrophoresis. From this point of view, and in regard to their performance, bucky paper actuator may alternate natural muscle. also, applied AC signal with appropriate magnitude and frequency together with four electrode arrangement has potential to realize nanotube electrokinetics.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of adolescent's background, family self-esteem, and interpersonal relations disposition on etiquette implementation. The subjects were chosen to include 1,119 adolescents attending middle or high schools. The results of this study were as follows: First, the degree of positive family self-esteem, a harmonious interpersonal relations disposition, and smooth etiquette implementation was high among those who were satisfied with school life, had talks with their parents often, and felt a need for etiquette education during teen years. Second, the variables affecting the adolescents' etiquette implementation were family self-esteem, understanding, communication, intimacy, trust in interpersonal relations and recognition of the necessity for etiquette education.

  • Password typing is the most wifely ued identity verification method in computer security domain. However, due to its simplicity, it is vulnerable to imposter attacks Keystroke dynamics adds a shield to password. Discriminating imposters from owners is a novelty detection problem. Auto-Associative Multilayer Perceptron (AaMLP) has teen proved to be a good novelty detector. However, the wifely used 2-layer AaMLP cannot identify nonlinear boundaries, which can result in serious problems in computer security. In this paper, a nonlinear model, i.e. 4-layer AaMLP, is proposed to serve as the novelty detector, which can remedy the limitations of 2-layer AaMLP.

  • 1. The effect of reactive type antioxidant, G-1 in comparism to ordinary antioxidant, SP, which are used for NR and SBR has teen studied, and its recipes are equal. The effects against ozone aye been shown that ill ordinary antioxidant, SBR, no an particular effect both for NR and SBR was found, where as in reactive type, considerable influence was recogniged particulary in dynamic ozone test. 2. The influence of reactive antioxidants on velcanization has been studied by means of Mooney viscometer and Rheometer. 3. The ageing properties of vulcanizates containing reactive antioxidant have been studied in terms of tensile strength.

High Resolution Optical Spectroscopy of mer-[Cr(dpt)(Gly-Gly)]ClO₄

  • The highly resolved absorption spectra of mer-[Cr(dpt)(Gly-Gly)]ClO4·H2O [dpt = di(3-aminopropyl)amine, H2Gly-Gly = glycylglycine] have been measured between 13000 cm-1 and 50000 cm-1 temperatures down to 2 K. The vibrational intervals were extracted by recording emission and far-infrared spectra. The characteristic infrared bands in meridional isomer were discussed. The four-teen electronic origins due to spin-allowed and spin-forbidden transitions were assigned. With the use of this electronic transitions, a ligand field optimization based on the exact known ligand geometry have been performed to determine more detailed bonding properties of Gly-Gly and dpt ligands. It is confirmed that the peptide nitrogen of the Gly-Gly has a weak π-donor property toward chrornium(Ⅲ) ion.

  • The influence of various calcium carbonate on the physical properties of natural rubber have teen carries out extensive experiments on compounding. Final evaluation was made through various kinds of physical test-tensile strength, modulus, tear strength and hardnees-including particle size. The results are as follows: 1. Generally, tile tensile strength, modulus and tear strength showed the similar tendency in various calcium carbonate compounding. 2. The maximum volume of general using have been obtained with 150 phr calcium carbonate in $NR-CaCO_3$ compounding. 3. The particle size of domestic calcium carbonate showed $1.0\mu-2.6\mu$.
