General problems of environmental contamination, scope of environmental science and technology, some considerations to the development of Korean environmental technology, and G-7 environmental engineering technology Projects were shortly reviewed, And four different strategies for innovation of Korean environmental technology. First, development of Energy Policy and environmental technology based on the pro - environmental thought; second, development of systematic environmental science and technology : third, strengthening of pre- deliberation for imported foreign technology and promotion of utilization of native developed technology; finally, maximization of abilities for researchers and engineers in environmental technology field.

This paper expanded the usefulness of technology relation analysis by applying to R&D activities of Korea Gas Corporation (Kogas) at the corporate level. Technology relation analysis has been applied to assessment of R&D investments in telecommunication and construction industries in Korea. As empirical findings, technology map and technology spillover matrix of Kogas have been derived by technology similarity analysis. It has bee found that various useful information for R&D assessment could be acquired from the technology relation analysis at the corporate level.

On industry highly developed and competition with each company, technology is considered as the one of the most significant variables in the era of technology competition. So, the needs of technology valuation and valuating technology competitiveness are increasing to measure value of company. However, in many cases of valuation tools, elaborate valuation technique is required all the more by reason of difficulty of defining the valuation target, the valuation perspective and the purpose of valuation. This study tried to define valuation framework of technology competitiveness for technology intensive small medium venture company to valuate technology environment and company's capability related with technology synthetically as well as technology itself which company uses. And also the purpose of technology valuation, the purpose of technology competitiveness, basic elements of technology valuation, trend of technology valuation in major countries including Korea are presented and analyzed.

Traditional LTPS TFT needs additional LDD process to decrease leakage current. However the fabrication process is no suitable for PI substrate. Additional laser multi-irradiation will damage the poly-Si to cause the TFT electrical degrade. Therefore we propose the simplified process to activate the $N^+$ and $N^-$ at the same time.

Dynamic Driving Carbon Nanotube Backlight Units (CNT-BLUs) can well utilize the persistence of their phosphor. This paper studies several dynamic driving schemes for the CNT-BLU developed by DTC/ITRI. Their illuminating efficiencies are experimentally evaluated. From these evaluations, this paper develops a new driving approach and even better efficiencies are obtained.

In order to satisfy the high need for technology valuation, various technology valuation methods have been developed. However the need to develop a new technology valuation method considering the technology characteristics, technology valuation objective, and technology valuation environments has been increasing. So far the technology valuation mehtods have been developed based on technology valuation experts' domain knowledge without applying systematic design methodology. In this paper the process that applies Axiomatic Design principles as a design methodology to the technology valuation methodology design is described. The design consists of technology valuation process design and technology valuation content design. The Axiomatic Design approach introduced in this paper can be used as a systematic technology valuation design tool considering various technology characteristics and technology valuation objectives and also as an evaluation tool of traditional technology methods.
