  • The goal of this paper is to select and analyze the sound for robot which can help and serve the big retail market, as the part of research for design foundation development of Human Robot Interface. The sounds which are related with activity, such as thanks, reject, agony, absurdity, gladness, approval, were selected among targeted sounds with 2 step SD method. The result for using Quantitative analysis model-3 with psychological similar degree of selected sound was argued with 'the brightness of sound' and 'violent of sound'.

  • Metabolomics has become an important research field with many areas of applications ranging from disease biomarker discovery to global biology systems study. A key step in metabolomics is to perform metabolome analysis to obtain quantitative information on metabolic changes among comparative samples. Mass spectrometry (MS) is widely used for highly sensitive detection of many different types of metabolites. In this review, we highlight some of the more commonly used MS techniques for metabolome analysis.

  • The metastable native state of proteins plays an important role in regulating biological functions. The native strain of serpins (serine protease inhibitors) are considered to be crucial for the inhibitory function. Several thermostable mutations of human $\alpha$$_1$-antitrypsin, a prototype inhibitory serpin, were identified in a systematic search targeted at the hydrophobic core of the molecule [Nature structural biology, vol. 3, no. 6, 497-500(1996)]. • The CC-NUMA based, distributed shared memory is an emerging architecture for multiprocessor computer systems because of its scalability and easy of programming. In this paper, we analyzed performance of a ring-based, CC-NUMA multiprocessor computer system using a commercial workload targeted for popular OLTP applications. Based on the traces collected from real machines, the characteristics of the commercial workload could be obtained. The simulation results showed that the bottleneck on the ring could be effectively removed by using a dual ring structure. We believe our simulation methodology and results will help us to design better multiprocessor computer systems for commercial application domains.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a HNCP-UPnP bridge. HNCP networked devices targeted to white goods are allowed to be controlled and monitored by UPnP Control Point. Bridge provides automated creation of UPnP proxy device and message conversion. The developed system enables integration of heterogeneous home network.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of HNCP bundle in the OSGi framework targeted to the home network system. The developed home network system is composed of a home server and several networked home appliances, and is connected via residential gateway to the external access network. The developed HNCP bundle allows a user to control and monitor home appliances in HNCP domain. We show the feasibility of the implemented HNCP bundle in the OSGi framework.
