한대(漢代) 이전에 형성된 천체력(天體曆) 기년(紀年) 원리 고찰의 필요성에 대한 소론(小論) (Discussion on the Necessity of the Study on the Principle of 'How to Mark an Era in Almanac Method of Tiāntǐlì(天體曆)' Formed until Han dynasty)

  • 10천간 12지지를 합성한 60개의 서수부호(序數符號)로 각각의 연월일시를 표현하였던 간지(干支) 책력(冊曆)에서의 그 기호는, 동양의 전통 의학(醫學) 분야에서 발병과 치료에 영향을 미치는 요인의 표식으로 쓰였을 뿐만 아니라, 여러 술수(術數) 분야에서의 길흉화복(吉凶禍福) 예단 지표로도 사용되었다. 이 간지력(干支曆) 부호를 기준으로 삼은 많은 술수 이론들이 한대(漢代) 이전까지 상당부분 갖추어졌던 것에 반해, '그것이 그렇게 된' 근원적 원리에 대한 이후의 책력학적 논의는 찾아보기 어렵다. 세성(歲星)(목성)이 황도대의 12개 '자리[차(次)]' 중에서 어느 곳에 있는 것인지로 그 한 해의 연명(年名)이 정해지는 천체력 기년 방식에는, 크게 세성기년법(歲星紀年法) 태세기년법(太歲紀年法) 간지기년법(干支紀年法) 등이 있다. 태세기년법과 명칭만 다를 뿐 실제로는 동일한 기년법이라 할 수 있는 간지기년법에서는 다시 세 가지 이상의 방식이 존재하며, 그 중 하나가 한대(漢代) 이래로 현재까지 중국과 우리나라 등지에서 끊김 없이 사용되고 있는 것이다. 2018년 올해의 간지 연명이 무술(戊戌)이 된 것은 순전히 '우연'에 의한 것이었다. 따라서 본 논의에서 필자는, 연월일시의 간지 부호를 가지고 고유 이론들을 구성하는 각종 전통 술수 분야에서 이에 대한 자각의 필요성을 역설(力說)하였다. 만 12년에 조금 못 미치는 목성의 1주천(周天) 주기 때문에, 천여 년에 한 번씩 약 85년 동안만 '황도대에서의 세성(歲星) 위차(位次)'와 '12지지(地支) 부호(符號)의 연명(年名)'이 서로 부합되는 상황이 펼쳐지는데, 최근의 수십 년이 그 시기가 됨을 확인하였다. 아울러서 28수(宿)를 바라보는 적절한 방법에 대해서도 함께 논하였다. 간지 책력이 각종 술수는 물론 전통 의술의 이론적 기반과도 결부된 것이니 만큼, 고대(古代) 천체력(天體曆)의 근원적 이론에 대한 심도 있는 연구는, 동양 전통 학문과 문화의 계승 발전 차원에서도 결코 소홀히 넘길 수 없는 일이다.

SHPB 기법을 사용한 고온에서의 Al 7075-T6 의 동적 변형 거동 (Characterization of Dynamic Deformation Behavior of Al 7075-T6 at High Temperature by Using SHPB Technique)

  • Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB) 실험기법은 고변형률 하중 조건하에서 변형하는 여러 가지 공업 재료의 변형 거동 특성을 규명하는데 가장 널리 사용되는 실험 방법 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 봉을 통하여 전파하는 응력파의 모양과 라이징 시간을 제어할 수 있는 pulse shaper를 사용하는 수정 SHPB 실험기법을 이용하였다. 수정 SHPB 실험 장치에 고온 장치를 부착하고 알루미늄 합금 7075-T6의 고변형률 하에서의 고온 변형거동에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 고온 수정 SHPB 실험 장치를 이용하여 알루미늄 합금 7075-T6의 온도와 변형률속도에 따른 기계적 특성을 규명하고, 실험적으로 얻어진 데이터를 Johnson-Cook 구성방정식을 적용하여 알루미늄 합금 7075-T6의 동적 거동을 모델 하는 변수를 결정하였다.

선외기 샤프트용 재료의 마찰용접에 관한 연구 (Study on Friction Welding of SUS431 and SCM21 for External Shaft of Ship)

  • A study on friction welding of stainless steel bar(SUS431) to chrome molybdenum steel bar(SCM21) was accomplished experimentally through analysis for relations among friction welding conditions, tension test, hardness test, microstructure test and acoustic emission test. The results obtained are summarized as follows ; 1. Through friction welding of SUS431 bar to SCM21 bar, the optimum welding condition by considering on strength and toughness was found to be the range of heating time of 3-5 sec when the number of rotating speed of 2000rpm, heating pressure of 10kg/$mm^2$, and upsetting time of 4 sec. 2. Quantitative ralationship was identified between heating time($T_1$, sec) and tensile strength (${\sigma},\;kgf/mm^2$) of the friction welded joint and the relation equation is $\sigma$=52.62$T_1{^{0.06}}$. 3. Through AE test, quantitative relationship was confirmed between heating time($T_1$, sec) and total AE(N, counts) during welding, and the relation is computed as follows ; N=30413.6$e^{0.06T1}$. 4. It was confirmed that the quantitative ralationship exists between the tensile strength of the welded joints and AE cumulative counts. And the relation is computed as the following ; ${\sigma}$=16.37(ln N)- 116.4. 5. When ONZ=36500-41500 counts by $OT_1Z$=3~5sec, it was identified by experiment that the range of welded joint tensile strength is 55.6-57.7kgf/$mm^2$/ whose joint efficiency is more than 100%, and it was experimentally confirmed that the real-time nondestructive quality(strength) evaluation for the friction welded joints could be possible by acoustic emission technique.

Open reduction of zygoma fractures with the extended transconjunctival approach and T-bar screw reduction

  • Background Zygomaticomaxillary complex (ZMC) fractures mostly occur in the form of tripod fractures. The surgical field is accessed using a combination of three classic approaches. However, the subciliary incision may have unfavorable aesthetic results. Herein, the authors report the advantages of the extended transconjunctival approach (ETA) combined with T-bar screw reduction in minimizing scarring and complications for the treatment of ZMC fractures. Methods A total of 26 patients underwent ZMC reduction through the ETA and intraoral approach. A skin incision measuring roughly 5 to 8 mm in length was placed following the lateral canthal skin crease. After releasing the inferior crus of the lateral canthal tendon for canthotomy, the medial periosteum of the lateral orbital rim was preserved for canthal reattachment. A limited subperiosteal dissection and partial relaxing incision of the orbicularis oculi were performed to expose the fracture line of the inferior orbital rim and zygomaticofrontal suture. Reduction was performed using a T-bar screw through the transconjunctival incision and an elevator through the intraoral incision. Results The aesthetic and functional results were excellent. Successful reduction was achieved and the skin incision was less than 8 mm in 20 cases (76.9%). Only six patients had an additional skin incision (less than 5 mm) to achieve reduction. No cases of ectropion, entropion, or excessive scarring were noted. Conclusions The ETA using a T-bar screw is a useful method for maximizing aesthetic results in ZMC fractures, with the advantages of minimal scarring, faster recovery, and maintenance of pretarsal fullness.

형광 투시법을 이용한 구강저에서의 피어싱 바의 제거: 증례보고 (REMOVAL OF A PIERCING BAR IN THE MOUTH FLOOR BY FLUOROSCOPY: REPORT OF A CASE)

  • The piercing is increasing in western culture, and has also become gradually popular among Korean teenagers recently However, the accident hap-pens sometimes such as loss of a bar into the tongue or mouth floor during the procedure. Because of the rare cases, few treatment of choices can be made when a bar is lost inside the mouth floor. In this case, the bar was removed under fluoroscope, without giving significant damage to the adjacent structure. 18 years old female patient visited the emergency room in our hospital. She attempted to pierce her tongue herself and could not find the bar which was lost in the mouth floor. The radiographs revealed that the needle was somewhere inside the mouth floor, but if incision were to be made it would be too deep to find the bar. The bar was removed through fluoroscope easily. Primary closure was done by 5-0 Vicryl and stitch-off was done 1 week later. The patient didn't have any speech problems and complications.

두 자료들의 평균과 분산을 이용한 혼합자료의 분산 계산 (Calculating Sample Variance for the Combined Data)

  • 공통분산을 갖는 두 모집단에서 얻은 두 독립표본 자료로부터 공통분산을 추정하거나, 한 모집단에서 얻는 두 자료의 혼합자료로부터 모분산을 추정할때 각 표본분산의 가중평균값인 합동추정량(pooled estimator)을 주로 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 동일한 모집단에서 얻은 혼합자료의 표본분산 식을 각 자료의 평균과 분산만 이용하여 구한 후 합동추정량과 비교한다.

  • This experiment was carried out to confirm the stability of bar gene introduced into petunia plant through Agrobacerium-mediated transformation. Twenty-five transgenic plants T$_{0}$ plants, back cross (BC$_1$) populations to wild type and F$_1$plants between different T$_{0}$ plants were prepared, and polymerase chain reaction(PCR), PCR-Southern blot analysis, and field test with 0.1% Basta treatment were done. The results of PCR, PCR-Southern blot hybridization, and field test indicated that NPTII and bar gene introduced into the genome of petuina plants were stably transmitted to their progenies, and conferred the plants resistance to herbicide, Basta.sta.

내연기관 피스톤 링 팩의 혼합윤활해석 (Mixed Lubrication Analysis of Piston Ring Pack in Internal Combustion Engine)

  • Approximately 30 to 70 % of the mechanical losses in a reciprocating engine are contributed by the friction at the piston ring-cylinder interface. The friction characteristics of the piston ring during engine operation is known to as mixed lubrication experimentally. The mixed lubrication models based on the Average Reynolds Equation have been used by this time in order to study the tribological performance of the ring. However, the Average Reynolds Equation contains the expected value term(${\bar{h}}_r$) of local film thickness as well as nominal film thickness(h), so that the work of numerically solving ${\bar{h}}_r$ must be included to obtain the pressure in the oil film. The process of solving ${\bar{h}}_T$ causes a greater multiplying in the numerical solution. In this paper the mixed lubrication analysis using the Simplified Average Reynolds Equation in the piston ring is presented. This equation has only h as oil film thickness term. Therefore the tedious numerical procedure required to obtain ${\bar{h}}_T$ is not needed, and also, computation time can be reduced.

Effect of Cross-bar Length on Luminous Efficacy in AC-PDP with Fence Electrode Stricture

  • In this paper, we proposed fence electrode structures. The experimental structures change cross-bar length as 145, 105, 65 and $30{\mu}m$ to improve the electro-optical characteristics. The proposed structures improve the addressing time and luminous efficacy compared with the T145 structure which has the cross-bar length of $145{\mu}m$ as the reference. Especially, in the case of the T30 structure with cross-bar length of $30{\mu}m$, it gains lower power consumption by 34%, and higher luminous efficacy by 20% than those of the reference structure.
