복합체계의 정량적 상호운용성 평가 방법론 연구 (A Study on the Quantitative Interoperability Measurement Methodology of System of Systems)

  • 한국군은 LISI 모델을 활용하여 소요제기 및 획득단계에서 체계의 상호운용성 수준측정 및 평가를 실시하고 있다. 그러나 LISI 모델은 체계 간 상호운용성 평가에 초점이 맞추어져 있기 때문에 다수 체계가 유기적으로 연결된 복합체계의 상호운용성 평가에는 제한적이다. 또한 LISI 모델은 정량적이기 보다는 정성적인 접근방법이기 때문에 상호운용성 의사결정에 가시적인 정보 제공에는 한계가 있다. 이에 대한 해결책으로 본 연구에서는 복합체계의 정량적인 상호운용성 평가 방법론을 제안한다. 제안 방법론에서는 아키텍처를 활용하여 임무 프로세스를 지원하는 복합체계가 식별되고, 체계의 다중도와 유사도 계수를 기반으로 상호운용성 평가가 이루어진다. 그리고 제안 방법론의 효용성을 보이기 위해 사례연구 결과를 제시한다.

  • 국방 복합체계(system of systems: SoS, Family of Systems: FoS)의 상호운용성 확보가 정보우위를 제공하며, 정보우위가 전장의 우위를 결정짓는 중요한 요소 중의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 국방 복합체계의 상호운용성 향상을 위해 국방 KIP(Key Interface Profile) 프로세스를 제안한다. 국방 KIP 프로세스는 아키텍처 분석을 통해 핵심 인터페이스를 식별하고, 식별된 핵심 인터페이스 정보를 바탕으로 핵심 인터페이스 프로파일을 개발한다. 개발된 핵심 인터페이스 프로파일은 복합체계의 상호운용성을 관리하기 위해 사용 될 수 있다. 제안 프로세스의 효용성과 실용성을 확인하기 위해 대화력전 수행체계(전구급 타격절차)에 국방 KIP 프로세스를 적용하고, 도출된 시사점을 제시한다.

  • In traditional Document Based Configuration Management(DBCM) environment, changes in a system's configurations are hard to be reflected to existing engineering documents. This nature of DBCM triggers unconformities of system configurations which could become great risks. Model-based Configuration Management(MBCM) has been introduced to solve the problem of DBCM by managing system's configurations through an unified model. Therefore, it is important to model engineering documents in a general modeling language, down to low-level information items to develop traceability and flexibility of a system's engineering information. So, in the research, to explore the possibility of Model-based Approach(MBA) in the field of configuration management, a development of a systems requirement document model using SysML based Views & Viewpoints concept has been studied.

  • This paper discuss the method of the system's efficient control using a Intelligent hybrid algorithm in nonlinear dynamics systems. Existing neural network and genetic algorithm for the control of non-linear systems work well in static states. but it be not particularly good in changeable states and must re-learn for the control of the system in the changed state. This time spend a lot of time. For the solution of this problem we suggest the intelligent hybrid self-tuning controller. it includes neural network, genetic algorithm and immune system. it is based on neural network, and immune system and genetic algorithm are added against a changed factor. We will call a change factor an antigen. When an antigen broke out, immune system come into action and genetic algorithm search an antibody. So the system is controled more stably and rapidly. Moreover, The Genetic algorithm use the memory address of the immune bank as a genetic factor. So it brings an advantage which the realization of a hardware easy.

Abstracted Meta-model for Effective Capabilities Portfolio Management (CPM)

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide an abstracted meta-model for executing Capabilities Portfolio Management (CPM) effectively based on DoDAF2.0. The purpose of developing an architecture is for beneficial use of it. A good set of architectural artifacts facilitates the manipulation and use of them in meeting its usage objectives well. Systems engineering methodologies evolve to accommodate or to deal with enterprise or SoS/FoS level problems. And DoD's Capabilities Portfolio Management (CPM) is a good example which demonstrates enterprise or SoS level problems. However, the complexity of the architecture framework makes it difficult to develop and use the architecture models and their associated artifacts. DoDAF states that it was established to guide the development of architectures and to satisfy the demands of a structured, repeatable method for evaluating alternatives which add value to decisions and management practices. One of the objectives of DoDAF2.0 is to define concepts and models usable in CPM which is one of DoD's six core processes. However, DoDAF and various guidelines state requirements for CPM rather than how to. This paper provides methodology for CPM which includes process and tailored meta-models based on DoDAF Meta Model (DM2).

  • The transport a administration in Korea is meeting demands of developing international multimodal transport system. In the past, as Korea transport policy has been emphasizing on the passenger traffic, the physical distribution sector is far behind international trend. Regarding the urging necessities of reducting costs in transport in order to upgrade the competitive edge of industries, Korea has to develop the most efficient transport system so called international multimodal transport system. The existing transport system is inefficient because each transport mode is separate, so this system is aiming at reducing cost and time and developing freight transport. The scope and scheme of this thesis should be as following. Chapter 2. 국방연구개발 사례 연구를 통한 통합성숙도평가 절차 연구 (A Study on the System Readiness Assessment Procedure Development through a case study in Defense R&D Programs)

  • Purpose: Simple part or equipment is necessary TRA(Technology Readiness Assessment) or MRA(Manufacturing Readiness Assessment). But sole maturity like TRA, MRA has limit complex systems or SoS(System of System). Especially complex weapon system need from the System Maturity Point of view. This research shows necessity of SRA(System Readiness Assessment). Methods: In case of complex systems, it is essential to SRA(System Readiness Assessment). For the purpose of calculating SRL(System Readiness Level), TRL and IRL must be calculated. And then SRL can obtain know from equation of TRL and IRL. To prove SRA effectiveness, it is calculated SRL of JTDLS(Joint Tactical DataLink System) programs. Results: SRA procedure is proposed and case study shows as examples of JTDLS programs. Although result of TRA is TRL6, result of SRA is not 0.6. From this research, we can know necessity of SRA. Especially complex systems or SoS(System of System) is essential to SRA. Conclusion: SRA(System Readiness Assessment) is required to overcome limitation of sole maturity and to achieve a successful acquisition of high quality weapon system. This research intended to suggest SRA procedure and case study in complex defense system.

전자계통 현상 시각화 MMI 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of the development of a visualization MMI for Power System Phenomenons)

  • This paper presents a prototype of visualization MMI of the Power System Phenomenon, specially synchronous machine dynamics and frequency deviations of power system for KEPCO's Enhanced Power System Simulator(KEPS)[1]. And some visualization designs of the Power System Phenomenons such as voltage stability, transient stability, SSR, Line overflow, and voltage deviations are presented. The prototype MMI has included the animations & 3D graphics presentations for synchronous machine rotor deviations and frequency deviations. So, a user can intuitively acquire the basic concepts of the power system oscillations. Finally, it will be scheduled to development of the various visualization MMI of the power system phenomenons for development and installation of KEPS.

LQ 제어기에 의한 극배치 방법 (Pole Placement by an LQ Controller)

  • This paper studies the problem of pole placement by an LQ controller for system having two distinct real poles. Using the so-called Pole's Moving Range (PMR) drawn in the s-plane and relational equations between closed-loop system poles and weighting matrices, we calculate the state weighting matrix to move two distinct real poles to a pair of complex poles. By numerical examples, we show that the proposed method is applied to improve system performance.

  • To obtain visible and traceable information from the supply chain, HW/SW standards for the EPC global network, which process electronic product code (EPC) data read from Radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, are regarded as the de facto industry standard. Supply chain participants install information service systems and provide logistics information to partners by following the EPCglobal architecture framework. Although quality of service (QoS) is essential for providing dependable and scalable services as pointed out by Auto-ID Lab, only a few models for the performance analysis of QoS-related work have been developed in the context of EPC information service systems. Specifically, doing so allows alternative design choices to be tested in an easy and cost-effective manner and can highlight potential performance problems in designs long before any construction costs are incurred. Thus, in this study we construct a model of an EPC information service system for the purposes of performance analysis and designing a dependable system. We also develop a set of building blocks for analytical performance models. To illustrate how the model works, we determine the characteristics of an EPC information service system and then select a combination of these proven modeling concepts. We construct a performance model that considers the response time and shows how to derive meaningful performance values. Finally, we compare the analytical results to measurements of the EPC information service system.
