The current work investigated the variation of numerical solutions according to the grid number, the distance of the first grid point off the ship surface, turbulence modeling and discretization. The subject vessel is KVLCC. A commercial code, Gridgen V15 and FLUENT were used the generation of the ship hull surface and spatial system and flow computation. The first part of examination, the effect of solutions were accessed depending on the grid number, turbulence modeling and discretization. The second part was focus on the suitable selection of the distance of the first grid point off the ship surface: $Y_P+$. When grid number and discretization were fixed the same value, the friction resistance showed differences within 1 % but the pressure resistance showed big differences 9 % depending on the turbulence modeling. When $Y_P+$ were set 30 and 50 for the same discretization, friction resistance showed almost same results within 1 % according to the turbulence modeling. However, when $Y_P+$ were fixed 100, friction resistance showed more differences of 3 % compared to $Y_P+$ of 30 and 50. Whereas pressure resistance showed big differences of 10 % regardless of turbulence modeling. When turbulence modeling and discretization were set the same value, friction, pressure and total resistance showed almost same result within 0.3 % depending on the grid number. Lastly, When turbulence modeling and discretization were fixed the same value, the friction resistance showed differences within 5~8 % but the pressure resistance showed small differences depending on the $Y_P+$.
Photon, neutron and beta radiation fields were measured at PWR plants which are the representative types of nuclear power plant operated in Korea. The photon energy spectra were measured at locations in the auxiliary building during operation period and in the containment vessel(C/V) during shutdown period using a portable gamma spectrometer with a HPGe detector. The distribution of average energy was found to range from 440 to 780 keV in the C/V and from 280 keV to 760 keV in the auxiliary building, respectively. The average neutron energy measured at the five locations around the operation deck in the C/V in operation using a BMSS (Bonner Multi-Sphere Spectrometer) ranged from 20 keV to 210 keV. A computer code, BUNKI was used to unfold the spectrum. The beta energy spectra in the C/V and in the auxiliary building in annual outage were determined using 14 smear samples taken from the highly contaminated areas. The analysis showed that the representative corrosion product, $^{60}Co$ made main contribution to the beta energy field.
A dryout mechanism model for rectangular narrow channels at high pressure conditions is developed by assuming that the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability triggered the occurrence of dryout. This model combines the advantages of theoretical analysis and empirical correlation. The unknown coefficients in the theoretical derivation are supported by the experimental data. Meanwhile, the decisive restriction of the experimental conditions on the applicability of the empirical correlation is avoided. The expression of vapor phase velocity at the time of dryout is derived, and the empirical correlation of liquid film thickness is introduced. Since the CHF value obtained from the liquid film thickness should be the same as the value obtained from the Kelvin-Helmholtz critical stability under the same condition, the convergent CHF value is obtained by iteratively calculating. Comparing with the experimental data under the pressure of 6.89-13.79 MPa, the average error of the model is -15.4% with the 95% confidence interval [-20.5%, -10.4%]. And the pressure has a decisive influence on the prediction accuracy of this model. Compared with the existing dryout code, the calculation speed of this model is faster, and the calculation accuracy is improved. This model, with great portability, could be applied to different objects and working conditions by changing the expression of the vapor phase velocity when the dryout phenomenon is triggered and the calculation formula of the liquid film.

For the obfuscation of Flow Analysis on the Android operating system, the size of the Flow Graph can be large enough to make analysis difficult. To this end, a library in the form of aar was implemented so that it could be inserted into the application in the form of an external library. The library is designed to have up to five child nodes from the entry point in the dummy code, and for each depth has 2n+1 numbers of methods from 100 to 900 for each node, so it consists of a total of 2,500 entry points. In addition, entry points consist of a total of 150 views in XML, each of which is connected via asynchronous interface. Thus, the process of creating a Inter-procedural Control Flow Graph has a maximum of 14,175E+11 additional cases. As a result of applying this to application, the Inter Procedure Control Flow Analysis too generates an average of 10,931 edges and 3,015 nodes with an average graph size increase of 36.64%. In addition, in the APK analyzing process showed that up to average 76.33MB of overhead, but only 0.88MB of execution overhead in the user's ART environment.
To insure nuclear reactor safety, the reactivity of control rods should be calculated by measuring the criticality of reactor core and it is regularly performed during the annual physics test period. Also, the core criticality should be monitored during the start-up operation to avoid reactivity induced accidents. Many research works on control rod reactivity measurement and subcriticality measurement have been accomplished throughout the world for decades and recently a new method named "Modified Neutron Source Multiplication Method (MNSM)" was proposed in Japan which is known to be improved overcoming limitations of traditional Neutron Source Multiplication Method (NSM). In this study, MNSM was tested in calculation of subcriticalities and in evaluation of application validity using the educational reactor in Kyung Hee University, AGN-201. For this study, a revised nuclear data library and a neutron transport code system TRANSX - PARTISN were established. Correction factors for various control rod positions were produced using the k-effective values and the corresponding flux distributions and adjoint flux distributions. Experimental values of the core criticality were obtained using the neutron count rates of the BF3 proportional counters. The results showed that the expected reactivity worth of control rods by MNSM agreed well with the theoretical values and the correction factors contributed much for this purpose.

The application of multiphase flows is increasingly being applied to analyze phenomena such as single phase flows where the fluid boundary changes continuously over time or the problem of mixing a liquid phase and a gas phase. In particular, multiphase flow models that take into account incompressible Newtonian fluids for liquid and gas are often applied to solve the problems of the free water surface such as wave fields. In general, multi-phase flow models require time-based the surface tracking of each fluid's phase boundary, which determines the accuracy of the final calculation of the model. This study evaluates the advection performance of representative VOF-type boundary tracking techniques applied to various CFD numerical codes. The effectiveness of the FCT method to control the numerical flux to minimize the numerical diffusion in the conventional VOF-type boundary tracking method and advection calculation was mainly evaluated. In addition, the possibility of tracking performance of free surface using CIP method (Yabe and Aoki, 1991) was also investigated. Numerical results show that the FCT-VOF method introducing an anti-diffusive flux to precent excessive diffusion is superior to other methods under the confined conditions in this study. The results from this study are expected to be used as an important basic data in selecting free surface tracking techniques applied to various numerical codes.
This paper presents the design of service model, transport channel, and service signaling for the Terrestrial DMB Automatic Emergency Alert Service (AEAS) Standard. The paper begins with the analysis of technical backgrounds related to the design topics. Next, the raper presents the design of service model for the AEAS. Since, unlike the regular T-DMB services, the AEAS is event-driven and common to all services, some problems have been identified to design a service model conforming to the T-DMB standard. So, the paper proposes a new concept, called the common service, and the AEAS is modeled using the common service. Next, in order to decide the transport channel for the alert information, the paper proposes to divide the alert information into the message which contains code/text-based essential information, and the supplemental multimedia information. Then, the paper tries to find the most efficient transport channels. Emergency Warning Service (EWS) which uses FIG 5/2 is selected for the delivery of the message. The paper proposes no constraints on delivery of supplemental information except that it shall use the MSC. Finally, it proposes the service signaling for the common service and transport channel. Due to the problems of conventional signaling using the MCI, it proposes a new signaling method. The paper will contribute as a guideline to the development for emergency alert service standards fur other broadcasting media.
Objectives : We studied the ISP(information strategy plan) of oasis spanning 5 years. From this study we aimed at total road map to upgrade the service systematically and to carry out the related projects. If we do it as road map, oasis will be the core infra service contributing to the improvement of TKM(traditional korean medicine) research capability. Methods : We carried out 3 step ISP method composed of environmental analysis, current status analysis and future plan. We used paper, report and trend analysis document as base materials and did the survey to get opinions from users and TKM experts. We limited this study to drawing the conceptual design of oasis. Results : From environmental analysis we knew that China and USA built up the largest TM databases. We did the survey to get the activation ways of oasis. And we did the benchmarking on the advanced services through current status analysis. Finally we determined 'maximize the research value based the open TKM knowledge infra' as oasis' vision. And we designed oasis' future system which is composed of service layer, application layer and contents layer. Conclusion : First TKM related documents, research materials, researcher information and standards are merged to elevate the TKM information level. Concretely large scale TKM information infra project such as TKM information classification code development, TKM library network building and CAM research information offering are carried out at the same time.
Objectives : This study was performed to examine medical care utilization of psychiatric patients and to explore patients' characteristics associated with extended hospitalization. Methods : Data were extracted from information of Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. All data associated with admission and outpatient clinic visit were analysed by patient characteristics. We selected first psychiatric admission patients who diagnosed mental and behavioral disorders due to use of alcohol (main disease code: F10), schizophrenia and related disorders (F20-29) and mood disorders (F30~33) from January to June 2005. We analysed status of admission, mean length of stay, regular access to outpatient clinic and rates of extended hospitalization during 3 years. Bivariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify factors associated with extended hospitalization. Results : The number of psychiatric patients during the first six month of 2005 was 30,678. The mean length of stay was longest for schizophrenia and related disorders but shortest for mood disorders. Patients who experienced an extended hospitalization were 18.8% of total subjects. An extended hospitalization was more common in schizophrenia and related disorders than other diagnostic groups. The factors associated with the extended hospitalization were age, sex, diagnostic group, type of insurance and medical care utilization groups. Conclusions : The study indicates the problem of an extended hospitalization for psychiatric patients in Korea. It is suggested that variations in rates of extended hospitalization among medical care utilization group may need an active early intervention system in psychiatric treatment service. Particular attention needs to be devoted to planning and funding for reducing extended hospitalization.

In this study, a numerical simulation was performed using commercial code Fluent(v.17.1). The underground Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) was simplified to analyze the methane gas leakage with the crack size and position. In addition, extensive numerical simulations were carried out for different crack sizes from 10 mm to 20 mm. The crack position is the gas leakage, which is assumed to be near the pipe elbow and the gas turbine. A total of 4 cases were compared and analyzed. To analyze the gas leakage, the concept of the Lower Flammable Limit (LFL) was applied. The leakage distance was defined in the longitudinal direction, and the transverse direction was estimated and quantitatively analyzed. As a result, the leakage distance in the longitudinal direction varies by 52.3 % depending on the crack size at the same crack position. Moreover, the maximum difference was 34.8 % according to the crack position when the crack sizes are identical. As jet flow impacts on the obstacle and changes its direction, the recirculation flows are formed. These results are expected to provide useful data to optimize the location and number of gas detections in confined spaces, such as underground CCPP.
