An Integrated Sewer Management System using Web Based Predictive Spatial Information System (웹 기반의 공간정보예측시스템을 이용한 통합적 하수도 관리 시스템의 개발 및 적용)

  • Web based integrated sewer management system was developed for the analysis of sewer flow and for the optimal operation of sewer works using ArcView and SWMM. SWMM and ArcView were dynamically linked together using Avenue in order to construct user-friendly information management system. The developed system was applied to the residential area in Choonchun city to verify its utilities. All the relevant field data were analyzed on the basis of the developed system, and the modeling of sewer flow was implemented using RUNOFF, EXTRAN, TRANSPORT in SWMM. This system is now in the process of connection to the management system of stormwater, surface and subsurface environment in order to develop an integrated environmental management system. Futhermore, this system will be a critical part of overall control system of sewer works including sewer network and wastewater treatment plant. As this system can provide comprehensive prediction of flow and pollution profiles, it could serve as a tool not only for the optimal management, but also for the decision support system to examine the efficiency of planning and implementation of sewer projects.

  • The image processing device sold by the market, which increases the comfort of the driver Around-View of the camera. This system while driving or when parked, came about to prevent accidents caused by driver error or disable the visibility of the system. However, it did not spread widely to the driver due to the problem of the high installation cost and complex installation process from the system for easy operation. Due to problems such as first, expensive equipment and second, the development environment is difficult and third, inconvenient installation process, it is not out because of the prohibitively high cost burden and difficult development environment, programmers and operators. I think if this is solved even one problem of this system would be able to access the user are a little more affordable. In this paper The AVM(Around-View Monitoring) system is proposed, the two problems that minimize expensive equipment, the installation process is inconvenient problem of the three aforementioned systems. Solved the problem caused by a lot of the cost by using low-cost USB device, and a rear camera. Was developed to facilitate the installation is possible by considering the inconvenient installation. Reducing the price paid by consumers because of the system.

  • Free-viewpoint video service is a technology that allows users to watch at any angle, location and distance through interaction. In this paper, the free-viewpoint video services are defined in four viewing modes: Inward view, outward view, 3D object view and first person view. And we developed and implemented a new integrated program that plays all the suggested views. In the contents of girl band performances and basketball games, multi-view cameras suitable for each viewing mode are installed to acquire media, and data stored on the server is streamed over the network, making it available for viewing. Users can freely choose four viewing modes, space location, angle and so on, and the media data such as images and sounds are provided to them by rendering appropriately for the selected the viewpoint. Our system is expected to be a scalable free-viewpoint video service player as well as provide users with immersion and presence by combining various viewing modes.

  • In order to integrate distributed biological information sources physically or virtually, it is necessary to overcome the heterogeneity of information sources and support a superior generality and adaptation in order to satisfy user's various demands. In this paper, we present a flexible and general XML query engine of a wrapper system in designing the middleware system to integrate data as well as application programs. Since this query engine applies user-defined XML view, it is possible to composite flexible integrated query. The query processing in a wrapper requires view composition, query translation into local sources, and generation of XML documents from local query results. We present a query processing model based on the view tree, where the n views and the XML queries are represented by the view tree. Moreover, to confirm the generality of our query processing model, we present a methodology of query processing for relational databases, web sources, and application programs whose return types of query results are relational tuples or XML documents.

Correlation Analysis about Subluxation Diagnosis Using Lumbar X-ray and Body Shape Analysis System (요추 단순 방사선 검사와 체형분석 기기를 통한 변위진단과 상관관계 분석)

  • Objectives This study analyzed the correlation between lumbar spine and pelvic body parameters measured using body shape analysis system and X-ray view. Methods Body shape analysis system and X-ray view were performed for 100 patients to diagnose subluxation using body parameters such as pelvic obliquity angle, anterior superior iliac spine to posterior superior iliac spine angle (ASIS-PSIS angle), lumbar lateral flexion angle. The correlation analysis using body parameters obtained through the body shape analysis system and X-ray view was performed by measuring the Pearson correlation coefficient, a parameter test. Results Significant correlations were observed between the values for pelvic obliquity angle, ASIS-PSIS angle, lumbar lateral flexion angle measured by X-ray view and body shape analysis system. The most significant correlation was observed in the value of pelvic obliquity angle. Conclusions Body parameters and posture analysis measured by the body shape analysis system can be used in place of X-ray view. Additional research and samples are still necessary.

Adaptive illumination change compensation method for multi-view video coding (다시점 비디오 부호화를 위한 적응적인 조명변화 보상 방법)

  • In this paper, an adaptive illumination change compensation method is proposed for multi-view video coding. In multi-view video, an illumination change can occur due to physically imperfect camera calibration, each different camera position and direction, and so on. These characteristics can cause a performance decrease in the multi-view video coding that uses an inter-view prediction by referring to the pictures obtained from the neighboring views. By using the proposed method, a compression ratio of the proposed method in the multi-view video coding is increased, and finally $0.1{\sim}0.6dB$ PSNR(Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) improvement was obtained compared with the case of not using the proposed method.
