  • This paper presents a new method of external load disturbance compensation using deadbeat load torque observer and gain compensation by parameter estimator. The response of the permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) follows the nominal plant. The load torque compensation method is composed of a deadbeat observer. To reduce the noise effect, the post-filter implemented by moving average(MA) process is adopted. The parameter compensator with recursive least square method(RLSM) parameter estimator is suggested to make the new system work as same as the name plate system which in used to take gains. The proposed estimator is combined with a high performance load torque observer to resolve the problems. As a result, the proposed control system has a robust and precise system against the load torque and the parameter variation. A stability and usefulness are verified by computer simulation and experiment.

  • In this study, Pasternak foundation model, which is a two parameter foundation model, is used to analyze the behavior of laterally loaded beams embedded in semi-infinite media. Total potential energy variation of the system is written to formulate the problem that yielded the required field equations and the boundary conditions. Shear force discontinuities are exposed within the boundary conditions by variational method and are validated by photo elastic experiments. Exact solution of the deflection of the beam is obtained. Both foundation parameters are obtained by self calibration for this particular problem and loading type in this study. It is shown that, like the first parameter k, the second foundation parameter G also depends not only on the material type but also on the geometry and the loading type of the system. On the other hand, surface deflection of the semi infinite media under singular loading is obtained and another method is proposed to determine the foundation parameters using the solution of this problem.

  • The next generation domestic high speed railway system is a power distributed type and uses vector control method for motor speed control. Nowadays, inverter driven induction motor system is widely used. However, recently PMSM drives are deeply considered as a alternative candidate instead of an induction motor drive system due to their advantages in efficiency, noise reduction and maintenance. The next-generation high speed train is composed of 2 converter units, 4 inverter units, and 4 Traction Motor units. Each motor is connected to the inverter directly. In this paper, the effect of IPMSM parameter variations to the system operation characteristics of the multi inverter drive high speed train system are investigated. The parallel connected inverter input-output characteristics are analyzed to the parameter mismatches of IPMSM using the 1C1M control simulator based on Matlab/Simulink.

  • This paper addresses the design of State-feedback Robust Guaranteed-Cost Controllers with controller gain variations. Since the unstructured uncertainty is the most dominant uncertainty in the modeling of the plant, the plant is assumed to have the unstructured uncertainty. It is necessary to take the controller parameter perturbation into consideration when we design the robust controller. Otherwise, the resulting controller may show the fragility property. That is to say, the extremely small controller parameter variation may result in the instability of the overall closed-loop system. Therefore, the design purpose is that the maximum performance index is guaranteed in the presence of the unstructured plant uncertainty and controller parameter variations ...

  • In this paper, the robust vector control method of Induction Motor for the purpose of improving the system performance deterioration caused by parameter variations is proposed. The full order state observer estimates the stator current and the rotor flux by using the state prediction of state variables. And, the motor speed is estimated without speed sensor using the full order state observer. Also, the parameter variation is compensate by the Sliding Observer. By using this method, speed sensorless control and current contol with no affection of the parameter variation can be obtained simultaneously.

  • This study was compared the variation system of body posture condition for stability by the posture. We used a model of bio parameter on the basis of the move state in the standing posture. We compared the sway movement derived from average of the physical sensing condition. Vision condition of variation average (Vi-${\sigma}_{AVG-AVG}$) was verified slightly greater at $13.746{\pm}4.05$ unit. Vestibular condition of variation average (Ve-${\sigma}_{AVG-AVG}$) was verified slightly larger at $7.829{\pm}1.071$ unit. Somatosensory condition of variation average (So-${\sigma}_{AVG-AVG}$) was verified slightly smaller at $2.592{\pm}0.538$ unit. CNS condition of variation average (C-${\sigma}_{AVG-AVG}$) was verified slightly larger at $0.46{\pm}0.105$ unit. The valuation system will be to deduce the model of body management with falling and stroke and all that sort of things. There will be to infer a data algorithm and the evaluation of processing system.

  • It is well known that Variable Structure Controller(VSC) is robust to parameters variation and disturbance but its performance depends on the design parameters such as switching gain and slope of sliding surface. This paper proposes a more robust VSC that is composed of local VSC's. Each local VSC considers the local system dynamics with narrow parameter variation and disturbance. First we optimize the local VSC's by use of Evolution Strategy, and next we use Artificial Neural Network to generalize the local VSC's and construct the overall VSC in order to cover the whole range of parameter variation and disturbance. Simulation on BLDC motor current control shows that the proposed VSC is superior to the conventional VSC.

  • Total Variation(TV) regularization method is effective for reconstructing "blocky", discontinuous images from contaminated image with noise. But TV is represented by highly nonlinear integro-differential equation that is hard to solve. There have been much effort to obtain stable and fast methods. C. Vogel introduced "the Fixed Point Lagged Diffusivity Iteration", which solves the nonlinear equation by linearizing. In this paper, we apply multigrid(MG) method for cell centered finite difference (CCFD) to solve system arise at each step of this fixed point iteration. In numerical simulation, we test various images varying noises and regularization parameter $\alpha$ and smoothness $\beta$ which appear in TV method. Numerical tests show that the parameter ${\beta}$ does not affect the solution if it is sufficiently small. We compute optimal $\alpha$ that minimizes the error with respect to $L^2$ norm and $H^1$ norm and compare reconstructed images.
