  • This paper introduces our development of a MIMO-OTA system with simplified configuration. The key element of our proposal is the adoption of an antenna branch-controlled configuration for generating multipath delayed waves. The signal processing is carried out on IF band signal with an FPGA in a fading-emulator-type MIMO-OTA measurement system. The proposed scheme is largely different from available system configurations for the fading simulator method of constructing the OTA test environment. We describe the principle of the proposed scheme, channel model incorporated in the system, basic configuration of the developed system, and its performance.

  • The ISO 90000 Quality System Certification is one of trends over the world. Many companies and organizations want to achieve the ISO 9000 certificate. But, some of companies did not fully consider the needs of certification before the decision of establishing the quality system to ISO 90000. If a company/organization wants to establish its unique quality system, it should consider some of points in the identification of needs, definition of application scope, effective ways of system establishing, top management committement, composition of task force team, practical involvement and development, analysis of process and assigned job functions, adoption of changes of business circumstances, and practical implementation of its unique quality system.

  • Aiming at solving the problems associated with existing wireless paging systems, this paper proposed a 4W1H+L+PI concept to context-aware information structure, based on which, a new wireless paging system named 119 system is developed under ubiquitous environment. Bemuse of the adoption of RFID tags in the wireless paging system, hazard and malfunction rates are reduced, thus accuracy is guaranteed. Besides, response time is shortened comparing with existing systems. In the future, if emergency aid information system can be implemented under the ubiquitous computing environment combined with sensor network, then aid service of good quality will be provided.

  • The objectives of this study are first, to evaluate the actual performance of the Transportation Impact Assesment System of Korea, second, to find the institutional problems of the system, and third, to seek for the best improvement of the system. Total 70 assessment reports performed in 1988 and judgements of the municipal councils of the reports were inspected. And the legal system of all levels were reviewed. According to the results, there are some needs to expand the number of cities subject to the assessment system. And the several regulations about the qualification of the agents assessing transportation impacts, the composition and operation of the municipal councils, and the timing of assessing the impacts are turned out improper. A proper alternative of amendment of the regulations are recommended. And the establishment of central council for judging assessments of hudge facilities, adoption of joint assessment of facilities bellow the standard, post occupancy assess ent, and transportation fee system were also recommended.

  • This paper is to explore the success factors of the online public grievance redressal system in the Nepal. It empirically tests the conceptual path model developed by DeLone and McLean which consists of six social perception variables with regard to citizen's intention to use the system. The estimates from 577 respondents support all the 13 hypotheses generated from D&L model. People's attitude and social norms are the two most important factors on the continuous usage of the system. It is suggested that the social factors are as much important as technological aspects when it comes to the e-government implementation. It is also suggested that the government should pay more attention to human factors in upgrading the design and development of e-grievance system in the foreseeable future.

  • There are many attempts to apply AI technology to diagnose facilities or improve the work efficiency of the power industry. The emergence of new machine learning technologies, such as deep learning, is accelerating the digital transformation of the power sector. The problem is that traditional power systems face security risks when adopting state-of-the-art AI systems. This adoption has convergence characteristics and reveals new cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities to the power system. This paper deals with the security measures and implementations of the power system using machine learning. Through building a commercial facility operations forecasting system using machine learning technology utilizing power big data, this paper identifies and addresses security vulnerabilities that must compensated to protect customer information and power system safety. Furthermore, it provides security guidelines by generalizing security measures to be considered when applying AI.

  • As the innovation of Information technology in the Public sector is in progress, the "Efficient adaptation and management of information system Act" (passed the National Assembly in December 30, 2005) was established to support the information system planning and development which are systematic and integrated in the enterprise view point. The public sector should adopt Information Technology Architecture into it's organization by the act. This paper reports on the issues, solutions and CSFs (Critical Success Factors) considering the adoption of ITA through the implementation for the case of the Korea Post. To adopt ITA program to the Public sector successfully, Korea Government should set the clear goals for IT A, set the standards for IT A project pricing, and collaborate with the system integration industry to make successful IT A program cases. The case study of Korea Post of MIC will be useful in developing and managing ITA programs for all agencies and organizations considering adoption of ITA.

  • Objective: The aim for this article was to evaluate and to clarify the current opinions of the registered pharmacists concerning their recognition and adoption rates about introducing the preceptorship into the clinical pharmacy internship and clerkship. Methods: A 25-question-questionnaire was developed and pilot tested. For 40 days of survey by both on-line and on site, 90 over 240 (37.5%) registered pharmacists responded and the data were analyzed with comparison to the groups working in community and hospital pharmacies. Results: The overall answers were affirmative and the respondents were very interested in the application of the clinical preceptorship to the pharmacy educational and to their clinical settings. Moreover, the qualification level and the implementation methods were proposed in detail. Conclusion: Although ninety pharmacists showed their views differently, most of the respondents regarded the preceptorship as an adequate training system for the pharmacy students as well as junior pharmacists at the time of initiation of the new 6-year pharmacy education system in Korea.

  • After analyzing the actual acquisition status of carbon labeling by year and by product for the past four years, as well as its certification in the construction-related sectors of greenhouse gas emission, this study attempted to present the problems and coping strategies upon issuing the carbon labeling certification in the landscape architecture. During the period of this analysis, the carbon labelings were acquired by 134 enterprises, 267 workplaces, and 735 products, while the percentage of acquisition was highest in the regular non-durable goods(49%), followed by energy-consuming durable goods(26%), regular production goods (19%), regular durable goods(3%), and service(3%). Furthermore, the acquisition certifications in construction sectors, were highest in the various pipes/panel(8 cases), followed by concrete(6 cases), gypsum board(4 cases), and landscape architecture materials(2 cases). The landscape architecture only had two cases in the acquisition certification for the first time in 2012, which accounted for 0.27% of the entire certification products, due to the uncertainty in the process, the lack of professionalism, and the lack of comprehension. However, the study conducted on the coping strategies for carbon labeling in the landscape architecture revealed the following: (1) regular reporting system management through the division of labor in the head office and factories, (2) the building of objective DB through the adoption of data management programs such as SAP, (3) continuous promotion and vitalization of the incentive system, (4) the adoption of mandatory or preferential application system in landscaping projects, management, and bidding, (5) enhancement of elasticity in deliberation of certification by recruiting experts in the landscape architecture sectors, and (6) provision of incentives for the cooperative firms acquiring the certification and support for their participation.
