  • There are two kinds of the synchronous motor, one is an induction type motor started without a driving system, the other is the one started with an external driving system. but, both are complicated. Nowadays, in order to devoid for the synchronous motor being complicated in design, line start permanent magnet(LSPM) motors are being developed. The LSPM motor is composed of the rotor that has interior permanent magnet and aluminum bar instead of general rotor. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of the LSPM motor which has both characteristics of an induction motor and a synchronous motor, and we compared the the LSPM motor characteristics with the induction motor.

LLC 공진형 하프브릿지 컨버터의 동기정류기 구동회로에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Synchronous Rectifier Driver Circuits in the LLC Resonant Half-Bridge Converter)

  • In this paper, we propose a current-driven synchronous rectifier driver circuit for LLC resonant half-bridge converters. The proposed driver circuit detects a relatively low current in the primary side of the transformer although a large current is flowing in the secondary side. Due to this feature, the driver circuit has a simple circuit structure and stabilizes the switching operation with a logic-level switching voltages for the synchronous rectifier. The operation and performance of the proposed driver circuit are confirmed with a prototype of 1kW class LLC resonant half-bridge converter. The experimental results proved that the proposed synchronous rectifier driver method improves the power conversion efficiency by around 1% and reduces the internal power loss by 17W.

  • The line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor has a high efficiency and an advantage in constant speed operation regardless of the effect of load variation. However, it is difficult to predict the performance of characteristics accurately, because of the unbalanced starting torque with the initial starting position of the rotor and the generation of a break torque. In this paper the dynamic characteristics of the line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor are described and compared with those of the squirrel-cage induction motor through the simulation to find the characteristics of the permanent magnets and the rotor bars in the line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor. Finally this paper gives the comparison between the simulation results and the experimental results.

  • This paper deals with a wound-field synchronous machines(WFSM), with an electromagnet on its salient rotor, as an alternative to a permanent magnet in the rotor. We then examine the power performance characteristics, loss characteristics, V-curves and large short-circuit ratios for a large-scale synchronous generator, considering the leading and lagging operations, based on the finite-element method. We predict the performance of a 100MVA-class generator based on the operating range for a constant short-circuit ratio. At the last, We compared with the electromagnetic characteristics of three model according to number of slots.

  • Aiming at the deficiencies of power sharing control performances when a traditional droop control is adopted for microgrid inverters, this paper proposes a microgrid inverter power sharing control strategy based on a virtual synchronous generator. This control method simulates the electromechanical transient characteristics of a synchronous generator in a power system by an ontology algorithm and the control laws of a synchronous generator by control over the speed governor and excitation regulator. As a result, that the microgrid system is able to effectively retain the stability of the voltage and frequency, and the power sharing precision of the microgrid inverter is improved. Based on an analysis of stability of a microgrid system controlled by a virtual synchronous generator, design thoughts are provided for further improvement of the power sharing precision of inverters. The simulation results shows that when the virtual synchronous generator based control strategy was adopted, the power sharing performances of microgrid inverters are improved more obviously than those using the droop control strategy.

  • The Clamp Mode(CM) Forward Zero Voltage Switching Multi Resonant Converter(ZVS-MRC) with self-driven synchronous rectifier in studied. The loss at the synchronous rectification stage of the converter is analyzed using MOSFET linear model and is compared with the loss at the conventional schottky diode rectification stage of the converter. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the use of MOSFETs as a synchronous rectifier reduces the loss at the rectification stage over the whole load range comparing the use of schottky diodes as a conventional rectifier in the converter. In order to verify the validity of the analysis, we have built a 33W(3.3V/10A) CM Forward ZVS-MRC with self-driven synchronous rectifier, in which switching frequency is 1MHz, and tested. From the experimental results, it is known that the synchronous rectification achieved about 1W improvement in the loss at the rectification stage and about 3% in the efficiency at the converter as compared with the conventional schottky diode rectification.

2자유도 PI 제어기를 이용한 2축 BLDC 모터 시스템의 정밀 위치동기 제어 (Precise Position Synchronous Control of Two-Axes System Using Two-Degree-of-Freedom PI Controller in BLDC Motor)

  • This paper describes a precise position synchronous control of two axes rotating system using BLDC motors and a cooperative control based on decoupling technique and PI control law. The system is required performances both good speed following and minimum position synchronous errors simultaneously. To accomplish these goals, the three kinds of controllers are designed. At first, the current and speed controller are designed very simply to compensate the influences of disturbances and to follow up speed references quickly. Especially, the two degree of freedom PI controller is used considering both good tracking for speed reference input and quick rejection of disturbances in speed controller. Finally, a position synchronous controller is designed as a simple proportional controller to minimize position synchronous errors. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed through some numerical simulations. Moreover, the results are compared to the conventional master-slave control ones to show the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • 1MW class superconducting synchronous motor is designed considering several conditions such as superconducting wire length, machine efficiency and size. As the machine is larger and larger, the superconducting machine shows the advantages more and more over the conventional machines. Although the advantages at 1MW rating are not so great, the design approach to get an appropriate result would be very helpful for larger superconducting synchronous machine design. Major design concerns are focused on reducing expensive Bi-2223 HTS(High Temperature Superconducting) wire which is used for superconducting field coil carrying the rating current around 30K(-243$^{\circ}C$) while the machine efficiency is higher than conventional motors or generators with the same rating. Furthermore, some iron cored structure is considered to reduce the HTS wire requirement without bad effect on machine performances such as sinusoidal armature voltage waveform, synchronous reactance and so on.

동기식 온라인창업교육의 학습자만족 모델 개발 (A Study on Developing the Model of Learner Satisfaction in Synchronous Online Entrepreneurship Education)

  • Owing to pandemic (COVID-19), the traditional face-to-face education method has been changed to the non-face-to-face real-time online education methods. Using a real time-based video conference system, synchronous education can be adopted by face-to-face class easily. Specially, it is very important to minimize the difference in learning effects between face-to-face and non-face-to-face in Entrepreneurship education. In this study, in order to derive the factors that affect the satisfaction of learners in synchronous online education, authors collected data from learners taking a synchronous entrepreneurship course. Through previous research, learned the reality of education and the composition of lessons. Spatiotemporal effectiveness, mentor ability, and educational environment influence learning satisfaction. PLS-SEM results revealed that it was confirmed that only spatiotemporal effects affect learner satisfaction. However, the education environment (fluent operation and convenience of function use of real-time based online conference system) effect teaching presence, class structure, and spatiotemporal effects. Through this research, we hope to provide theoretical and practical support for developing effective teacher activities, proper lesson structure, convenient function of the conference system, and learner-centered online learning environment when developing synchronous online classes.

  • 식도암 환자에서 동시에 일차성 폐암이 발견되는 빈도는 2% 미만에 불과하며, 특히 두 질환 모두 예후가 나쁨으로 인해서 환자들이 근치적 절제술을 받을 기회를 놓치게 되는 경우가 많다. 그러나 환자를 신중히 선택한다면 폐와 식도의 중복암을 동시에 절제함으로써 좋은 결과를 가져올 수 있다고 생각한다. 저자들은 최근 식도와 폐의 일차성 중복암 환자 1예를 경험하였고, 쌍폐엽절제술과 Ivor Lewis 술식으로 일차성 근치적 절제술을 시행하여 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 국내 문헌상으로는 최초로 이를 보고하는 바이다.
