본 논문에서는 조합논리회로의 기호적 신뢰도 계정식을 구하는 한 방법을 제시하였다. 한 회로의 모든 입력이(0,1) 값을 갖는 확율변수로 나타내어지고 출력이 부울 적의합(sum of product)식으로 표시되어 지면 출력확률의 계정은 sharp 산법이라고 명명되는 부울 대수 산법에 의하여 기호적으로 계정된다.

We propose a new category of hybrid multi-layer neural networks with hetero nodes such as Fuzzy Set based Polynomial Neurons (FSPNs) and Polynomial Neurons (PNs). These networks are based on a genetically optimized multi-layer perceptron. We develop a comprehensive design methodology involving mechanisms of genetic optimization and genetic algorithms, in particular. The augmented genetically optimized HFPNN (namely gHFPNN) results in a structurally optimized structure and comes with a higher level of flexibility in comparison to the one we encounter in the conventional HFPNN. The GA-based design procedure being applied at each layer of HFPNN leads to the selection of preferred nodes (FPNs or PNs) available within the HFPNN. In the sequel, two general optimization mechanisms are explored. First, the structural optimization is realized via GAs whereas the ensuing detailed parametric optimization is carried out in the setting of a standard least square method-based learning. The performance of the gHFPNNs quantified through experimentation where we use a number of modeling benchmarks-synthetic and experimental data already experimented with in fuzzy or neurofuzzy modeling.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the existence of censorship in our country which was one of the method of wielding authority on bodies. For the purpose, the definition of censorship was studied through the concept of ′Symbolic Violence′ from Bourdieu and ′Panopticon′ from Foucault. A censorship can be defined as "all kinds of structural, systemical and psychological control mechanism on specific expression in our society". This research was conducted to develop uniform designs as a part of CIP(Corporate Identity Program) for Corporate Identify of G College. A uniform is the dress of a distinctive design or a fashion worn by members of a particular group. Therefore, the uniform should provide the user with pride and distinction for a company or a college in wearing the uniform. The method and procedure of this research was as follows: First]y, we examined CIP(Corporate Identity Program) expressing 'visual Image' of G College such as symbolic marks and colors and logos and investigated the actual conditions of G College uniform and the others. Secondly, we decided the direction of the design concept to reflect the investigated results. Thirdly, we designed the new uniforms by the design process considering of the essential factors of a uniform. for example functional, beautiful, symbolic aspects.

Optical adders using a modified signed-digit(MSD) number system have been proposed to restrict the carry propagation chain encountered in a conventional binary adder to two positions to the left. But, MSD number system must encode three different states to represent the three possible digits of MSD. In this paper, we propose the design of an optical adder based on 1-bit addition rules by using the method of symbolic substitution (SS). We show that this adder can use binary input which is used by a digital computer, as it is and be implemented by smaller system in size than MSD adder.

Generalizing the Burchnall-Chaundy operator method, the authors are aiming at presenting certain decomposition formulas for the chosen six Exton functions expressed in terms of Appell's functions $F_3$ and $F_4$, Horn's functions $H_3$ and $H_4$, and Gauss's hypergeometric function F. We also give some integral representations for the Exton functions $X_i$ (i = 6, 8, 14) each of whose kernels contains the Horn's function $H_4$.

심볼릭 자료 중 하나인 구간형 자료는 모든 관측값에서 단일 값이 아닌 구간을 값으로 취하며, 관측값 내에 변동이 존재한다는 특징을 갖는다. 주성분 분석은 자료의 분산을 최대로 설명하여 자료의 차원을 축소하는 방법이므로 구간형 자료의 주성분 분석은 관측값 간의 분산 뿐만 아니라 관측값 내의 분산 역시 설명하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 구간형 자료의 세 가지 주성분 분석법을 소개하고자 한다. 또한 기존의 분위수 방법에서 균일분포를 사용하는 것이 아니라 구간의 중심점 부근이 좀 더 많은 정보를 가지고 있는 것으로 보고 절단정규분포를 사용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 모의실험과 OECD 관련 실제 통계 자료를 통하여 각 방법의 결과를 비교해 보았다. 마지막으로 분위수 방법의 경우 화살표 표현법을 통해 주성분 산점도를 그리고 분위수들의 위치와 분포를 확인하였다.

1"his Study is to make research a Image and Symbol in the Gothic Architecture. Firstly, the concept of the symbol and the image effect are essentially based on the meaning that the activity of consciousness take on the constitution of the symbol. Therefore the image represent the deepest content of human nature has been imagination and reality. Secondly, the symbol concept showed in Gothic Architecture was associated with the passion of the order of middle ages. The world, the cosmos and the history had been revealed in Gothic architecture. In Gothic Image, Emile Male maintained the symbol of the Catholic Church as above mentioned. The Catholic Church was mirror of the natural, the institution, the moral and history, then this passion of the order was a christian order. Especially, E. Panofsky said that the scholastic method was shown in Gothic architecture. He assert that it was especially dialectic method used in theology. That is, he explained the transfiguration of Gothic Architecture with the process of thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis. These symbolize light, magnitude, clearness. Finally, symbolic image is important in Post-Modem architecture at present. Post-Modern architecture is associated with the public and the Pluralism. Post-Modern architecture attempt to communicate as symbolic language among the assumption for diverse aspect of culture.

Myths and architectural spaces are cultural products symbolizing ideologies and objects respectively. Myth has the structure and the contents of a unique view of the world that reflects thoughts and representations of the nationalities. This study is about 'the spaces of the memory' adapted by the mythic tradition among many aspects of the Japanese tradition. The process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, it mentions the concept of Gilbert Durand's mythic imaginaries and prototype with the method on how the myth is applied to the architectural spaces in the cultural context. Secondly, It clarifies basic meaning arrangement of the Japanese traditional spaces related to the myth. It shows sourceful 'prototipical system' that lies in the relation between thoughts and representations, regarding the shinto's spaces in terms of mythical imaginaries and Japanness. Thirdly, it ascertains mythical structure represented in the traditional space designs on terms with 'prototype' from symbolic system of the myth. It selects the cases among Japanese contemporary architects's works designed after 1960's, and analyses the meanings. In conclusion, it clarifies that this way can be a suggestion as the space design method combining the human's imaginary property with the time-stratigraphic region, and offering creative ideas for the strategy of the space design brand image that embraces a wide range of culture, ecology, and sensibility.

An optical adder for a modified signed-digit(MSD) number system using joint spatial encoding method is proposed. In order to minimize the numbers of symbolic substitution rules, nine input patterns were divided into five groups of the same addition results. For recognizing the input reference patterns, masks and reference patterns without any other spatial operations are used. This adder is implemented by smaller system in size than a conventional adder.
