군 상징조형물 설치 특성에 관한 조사 연구 - 전라남도 군 상징조형물을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Installation Characteristics of Military Symbolic Sculptures - Targeting Symbolic Sculptures in Counties in Jeollanam-do -)

  • This study, as part of a study on the visual impact and evaluation of the symbolic sculptures currently installed in counties in Jeollanam-do on the formation of Landscapes by local governments, investigated and analyzed the installation characteristics of symbolic sculptures by local governments. As a result, many local governments have installed local specialties and landmarks as symbolic sculptures, and the installation location is often installed in open spaces and in the center of roundabouts. It was investigated that the use of color or the color of the material as it is was preferred. It was found that more symbolic sculptures installed on the roadside were installed in the center of the roundabout or along the side of the street than installation at the gateway. It is considered that it is more effective to recognize the symbolism of the area to the tourists through the installation of the symbolic sculpture at the entrance of the area, the center of the roundabout, or the side of the road rather than the gate, because the size of the symbol is bigger in order to recognize the symbolism of the area due to the width of the large road when installing the symbolic sculpture at the gateway, It is considered.

  • Environmental design should be based on the positive theory, a researcher structured symbolic aesthetics on the basis of positive perception theory. Symbolic aesthetics by ecological theory of perception, human preference is related to existence and the formation of place-identity and cognitive map is dealt importantly in this study. Symbolic aesthetics is a study on environmental meaning and a researcher understood the operation of environmental meaning by regarding symbology as a methodological frame and defined architecture as a visual language system after discussing the importance of signified.

  • This paper deals with the origin of the concept of lattices in mathematics and its development until 1930's. Although it is purely mathematical, its formation is due to the development of symbolic logic Further, logicians were mostly concerned about how to imitate the methods and duplicate the problems of algebra but not the application to mathematics. The first purely mathematical approach was given by Dedekind and his results were neglected and then reappeared in 1930's.

무지개 색의 특성과 복식으로 전달되는 이미지 (A Study on the Characteristics of Rainbow Colors and Rainbow Fashion Images)

  • The rainbow has been considered as a perfect representative of color harmony in nature. In this study rainbow's colors include seven spectral colors and changeable colors according to observational angle. This study performed a bibliographical inquiry into rainbow colors and the survey research for classification of rainbow color images in fashion design. First, a bibliographical inquiry includes the definition of rainbow colors, physical formation principles of the rainbow, and its aesthetical attributes and symbolism. Second, this survey classifies rainbow color images in fashion design. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The rainbow was the religious and symbolic object before 17th century, and after that period, the rainbow became an aesthetical object. The main symbolic meanings are similar in eastern and western culture: temporary bridge between two world, divine nature, hope/beauty/richness, war/ death/flood/drought. 2. This survey shows that 6 main factors of rainbow color images in fashion design are 'vigorous', 'colorful'. 'fairy', 'fresh', 'mysterious', 'brilliant'. Rainbow color image in fashion design shows past and futuristic image at the same time. The purpose of this study is to systematized the images theoretical bases which are applied to color expression and of rainbow colors and to find out the development about rainbow theme by designers.

할로윈 커스튬에 나타난 전통 모티브의 유형 및 상징적 의미 (A study on the types and symbolic meanings of the traditional motifs of the Halloween costume)

  • This study examined the characteristics of costumes worn at Halloween parties, a form of cultural entertainment commonly seen in the U.S. The Halloween party culture involves children and adolescents wearing costumes, decorating their bodies, and mimicking famous characters. Furthermore, the types and motifs of Halloween costumes have become a means of expressing individuality. This study conducted empirical research on how such motifs were reflected in modern Halloween party-wear in order to provide basic data regarding the development and design of Halloween costumes and the formation of the related entertainment culture. This study researched the shape of costumes and the type of traditional motif presented in these costumes, as well as analyzed the symbolic meaning of each motif. The research process was as follows. First, this study investigated the origin and evolution of Halloween by researching precedent studies, books, and internet data. Second, this study extracted the types of traditional Halloween motifs by analyzing the characteristics and symbols of Halloween costumes commonly presented in such materials. After collecting 547 Halloween-related images from U.S. and Korean Internet websites, this study sorted and analyzed images that could represent traditional Halloween motifs. According to the results, representative traditional Halloween motifs included black cats, white rabbits, tridents, scarecrows, skull and bones, ghosts, witches, vampires, bats, werewolves, and jack-o-lanterns(pumpkins, etc.). The sentiments for such traditional Halloween motifs changed according to era and race. The symbolic meaning would continuously change - from positive to negative and vice versa - to reflect various socio-cultural phenomena. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for developing Halloween costume designs and the related entertainment culture.

락맥(絡脈)의 개념(槪念)과 십오락맥(十五絡脈)의 성립과 구성에 대한 상수학적(象數學的) 고찰 (Study on the Concept of Collaterals and Asian Symbolic-mathematical Consideration of Formation and Composition of Fifteen Main Collaterals)

  • The meridian theory(經絡學說) is one of the important Korean medical theories distinguishing it from western medicine. The meridian theory(經絡學說) can be divided broadly into meridians(經脈) and collaterals(絡脈). The studies on meridians(經脈) have been relatively advanced, but the studies on the collaterals(絡脈) has not been enough progressed so far. Fifteen main collaterals(十五絡脈) are the biggest and most important part of collaterals(絡脈). Unlike other collateral(絡脈), fifteen main collaterals(十五絡脈) have certain routes and their own collateral acupoints(絡穴). So we studied the structure of collateral(絡脈) mainly on fifteen main collaterals(十五絡脈). In addition, we searched the Asian symbolic-mathematical(象數學的) meaning of the fifteen main collaterals(十五絡脈) and newly described them. As a result, the concept of collaterals(絡脈) has been created by the accumulation of clinical experience later than that of meridians(經脈), and it has been formed while the meridian theory(經絡學說) were developed. The meaning of 'fifteen' in fifteen main collaterals(十五絡脈) could be analysed in three ways based on the result of symbolic-mathematical(象數 學的) study. According to those results, we could find that the structure of fifteen main collaterals(十五絡脈) in "Internal Classic(內經)" was accurate.

마그리트 회화와 라캉의 주체론 - 응시, 세계와의 조우 (Magritte's drawings and Lacan's Subject theory: Gaze, Encounter with the world)

  • The subject is connected with a structure named "The Symbolic" to Lacan, but he denied that the subject is explained simply as a fruit of language and "Other". From his point of view, passing through Subject, De-formation and Crack over it is designated as foundation of generation and creation rather than our destined defect. It should not be understood that subject of "The Real" is a concept of the subject free itself from restraint of "The Symbolic". However, this does not mean he asserts "Subject" is something incapable of being controlled by the unknown power. The problem is that this autonomous existence meets inside of it with something "more than one's own self" by "circulating around itself" like a permanent star. This is the indication of a "stranger in the middle of my privacy", or "extimit$\'{e}$", a coined-word by Lacan. Perhaps "Subject" is nothing more than the name of distance of object which is "too hot" to come close, and of this circulating movement. It's because of this object that the real subject stands against generalization and the subject can't be restored to any place in symbolic order-even though it is empty. The part which is told from Lacan's structural theory, that is to say, an importance to Lacan is that his Subject theory is not suggested or denied as a manual structure. On the contrary, it is a study of the relationship between the settled symbol that included in "real subject which is a unconscious one" and the symbolic subject hold- that is a metaphysical subject in general meaning. In Lacan's enlarged concept of subject beyond symbolic reality, it is noticeable that it gives justifiability to the union of a medium of different nature in artistic expression. We can recognize that the unconscious world is a living space which enables it to be a "condition of human being", not something dark under the surface of water through Magritte's(Rene Magritte, 1898~1967) surrealistic works. In other words, Magritte's art secures a core dimension of human nature through a mysterious gap of conscious and settled space. Magritte's drawings often evokes strange and unsettling feelings in people who view his paintings. This is because routine objects are found in "unsuitable" places from which we usually find them in our everyday lives. "Reality" in Magritte's paintings makes it aware that it is a strained field of concealment and disclosure basically between truths, and we can learn that his behavior to overturn to paint in-visible things is finally an effort to restore the "real subject" to the viewer's reality. In other words, such reversion arouses a nostalgic desire for the objects existing in their original appearance as they are - natural condition that our gaze had not been distorted yet by anamorphic stains. - and the state when we are conscious of them normally. Such desire offers an opportunity for us to get out of mental depression rather than operates to us as an abnormal crack. It's a successive process of effort to search for lost subject and Paradise Lost facing up to reality of subject human that is to be a subject of world and life are ousted from their place by structure and authority of culture.

증강현실 광고유형이 브랜드애착에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Augment Reality(AR) Types on Brand Attachment)

  • 본 연구는 최근에 이슈가 되고 있는 증강현실광고에 대한 소비자 반응에 대한 연구이다. 4차 산업혁명시대에 맞는 마케팅 광고 기법의 필요성에 의해 본 연구를 진행하였다. 먼저 선행연구를 바탕으로 증강현실광고의 유형을 제시하고 이러한 광고유형에 대해 소비자가 지각하는 가치를 바탕으로 즐거움과 광고에 나타나는 제품이나 서비스에 대한 브랜드 태도 형성이 브랜드 애착에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하였다. 본 연구를 간략히 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가설(H1) 경험적 가치는 즐거움이 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 가설H2) 경험적 가치는 브랜드 태도에 역시 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 가설(H3) 상징적 가치는 즐거움에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고 가설(H4) 상징적 가치는 브랜드 태도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가설 (H5) 실용적 가치는 즐거움에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 가설(H7) 즐거움이 브랜드 태도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 가설(H8,H9) 즐거움이 애착, 브랜드 태도가 애착에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가설(H6) 실용적 가치가 브랜드 태도에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 증강현실광고의 특성상 실용적 가치를 소비자가 지각하는 것보다는 경험혹은 상징적인 측면을 통해 소비자와 소통함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 시사점은 증강현실 광고가 일반광고와 다르게 소비자와 상호작용성이 높으며 소비자 참여 유도가 가능하다. 이는 소비자는 증강현실 광고를 통해 실용적 가치를 경험하기 보다는 경험적이고 상징적 가치를 더욱 지각하게 된다는 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the direction for creating the beautiful and lively space of the reli-gious architecture as a consquence of trying to under-stand the forms of control of the light and the symbolic meaning of the production in the interior space of the re-ligious architecture. The scope of this study has been limited to the natural light and to the establishment of theoretical background by analyzing the essence and method of space formation by the light in a side view of development and psychology and establishing the concept related to the architectur-al space formation of the light as well as researching and analyzing the meaning and the method of production of the light. And at the same time the conclusion has been induced as a guide of verifying theoretical background by analyz-ing the practical use related to the control and the pro-duction of the light through the spot research and the referential materials in a way of case research into 5 do-mestic religious architectures as the subject of research.

부호치환 규칙을 이용한 광2-비트가산기 (Optical 2-bit Adder Using the Rule of Symbolic Substitiution)

  • 전통적인 2진 가산규칙은 올림수를 발생시키고 MSB까지 올림수 전달이 발생하므로 직렬가산을 수행한다. 따라서 2진 가산에서 올림수 전달은 광의 병렬성을 최대한으로 이용할 수가 없다. MSD 수체계를 사용한 평가산기는 전통적인 2진 가산에서 발생하는 연속적인 올림수 전달을 제한하도록 제안되었다. 그러나 MSD 수체계는 MSD의 3가지 디지트를 표현하기 위하여 3가지 다른 상태로 부호화해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 SS방법을 사용하여 2-비트 가산규칙에 근거한 광병렬 가산기의 구성을 제안한다.
