The dimmable magnetic ballast which applies the variable inductor needs a switching process for the dimming process, and it consists of mechanical relays because of costs and reliabilities. However, it is hard to operate with correct timing in mechanical relay, so relays reduce their own life time in inductive applications. Moreover this creates a destructive problem at the switching process. The life time reduction of relays means the life time reduction of the ballast. Thus, in this paper, we described the problem at the witching process in the dimmable magnetic ballast with a variable inductor, which consists of relays and the soft AC switching method in order to solve the problems. As result, we achieved the improvement of the life time and reliability of the ballast.

This paper studies constrained optimization of an M/G/1 queue with a server that can be switched on and off. One criterion is an average number of customers in the system and another criterion is an average operating cost per unit time, where operating costs consist of switching and running costs. With the help of queueing theory, we solve the problems of optimization of one of these criteria under a constraint for another one.

본 연구에서 온라인 게임 사용자를 대상으로 온라인 게임 중요속성의 4가지 하위 차원인 오락성, 도전성, 상호작용성, 그리고 현실성이 고객만족에 미치는 영향과 만족도가 충성도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 충성도에 영향을 주는 변수로 주목받고 있는 전환장벽이 고객만족과 고객충성도의 관계에 있어서 매개효과가 있는지 분석하였다. 분석결과 온라인 게임 중요속성을 구성하는 차원 중 오락성, 도전성, 상호작용성이 고객만족에 영향을 미치고, 고객만족이 고객충성도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 온라인 게임 전환에 따른 비용은 고객충성도에 정(正)의 영향을 미치고, 다른 경쟁게임의 대안의 매력도는 고객충성도에 부(負)의 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

Customer retention is more emphasized for internet business than off-line shopping-malls. The loyals not only purchase a lot but also recommend the mall to new customers quickly using internet media, and there have been many studies on this subject. In this study, customer satisfaction and trust are suggested as preceding variables that have an influence on customer loyalty, and switching gains are suggested as a moderating variable between customer satisfaction & trust and customer loyalty. Many people think it would be easier to change business connection and customer loyalty for internet shopping-malls would be very low. This study, however, concluded that customer satisfaction and trust had a significant influence on customer loyalty even in internet shopping-mall, and that switching gains had moderating effect between satisfaction-attitudinal loyalty and trust-behavioral loyalty. These results are meaningful in that customer satisfaction or trust should be emphasized even on internet business and that switching gains can be strategic focus in building up customer loyalty and retention.

The SSWM(Software Switching Mechanism) of I-processor concept using non-real time in-house software simulation program is an effective method in order to develop the flight control law in desktop or HQS environment. And, this system has some advantages compare to HSWM(Hardware Switching Mechanism) such as remove the time delay effectiveness and reduce the costs of development. But, if this system loading to the OFP(Operational Flight Program), the OFP guarantee the enough throughput in order to calculate the two control law at once. Therefore, the HSWM(Hardware Switching Mechanism) of 2-processor concept is necessary. This paper addresses the concept of HSWM of the HQS-PC interface using TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) communication based on flight control law of advanced supersonic trainer. And, the fader logic of TFS(Transient Free Switch) and stand-by mode of reset '0' type are designed in order to reduce the abrupt transient response and minimize the integrator effect in pitch axis. The result of the analysis based on HQS pilot simulation using HSWM reveals that the flight control systems are switching between two computers without any problem.

인터넷의 등장으로 기업은 보다 효율적으로 고객 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 B2C 영역에서 인터넷정보우려감과 e-신뢰도, 그리고 e-충성도 간 상호관계를 탐색하고자 한다. 특히 인터넷정보우려감에 관한 기존연구의 구성요인들을 통합함으로써 보다 총체적인 연구모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 세 가지 질문을 중심으로 연구를 진행하였다: 인터넷정보보안우려감의 세 가지 요인들은 e-신뢰도를 통해 e-충성도에 유의한 영향을 미치는가?, e-신뢰도는 e-충성도와 정보보안우려감 간 관계에서 매개요인 효과를 보이는가?, 마지막으로 전환비용은 e-신뢰도와 e-충성도 간 관계를 조절하는가? 연구모형 검증을 위해 호텔 웹사이트를 통해 숙박을 예약한 고객을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 본 연구에서 가정한 가설과 e-신뢰도의 매개효과, 그리고 전환비용의 조절효과 모두 유의한 것으로 검증되었다. 개념적으로 본 연구는 인터넷정보보안우려감, e-신뢰도, e-충성도 간 관계에 대한 실증적 검증을 제공하였으며, 실무적 차원에서는 날로 그 시장이 커지고 있는 온라인 시장에서 충성도를 관리할 수 있는 주요요인에 대한 통찰력을 제시하고 있다고 할 수 있다.

In order to minimize switching losses for high power applications, a boost PFC rectifier with a novel passive lossless snubber circuit is proposed. The proposed lossless snubber is composed of coupled inductors merged into a boost inductor. This method compared with conventional methods does not need additional inductor cores and it reduces extra costs to implement a soft switching circuit. Especially, the proposed circuit can reduce the reverse recovery current of output diode rectifiers due to the coupling effect of the inductor. During turn-on and turn-off operating modes, the proposed PFC converter operates under soft switching conditions with high power conversion efficiency. In addition, the performance improvement and analysis of the operating effects of the coupled inductors were also presented and verified with a 3.3 kW prototype rectifier.

The emergence of open source software (OSS) with its successful projects and its most prominent advantages creates a vast interest among academics and practitioners. However, it has been found that focusing on the developments of OSS to be successful is not adequate and the adoption of OSS by uses is also very important. Although there are a great number of useful and easy to use OSS has been developed, the adoption of OSS and usage in the market is very low. Based on the technology equity implementation model (EIM), this study examines user resistance in the adoption of OSS (i.e., switching from the current system to OSS). A survey has done regarding the adoption of Linux as the case of study. We have found that user resistance to change has negative effect on adoption intention, and switching benefits, switching costs and perceived value have significant relationships with user resistance to change.

We consider the ATM switching node location problem (ANLP). In this problem, there are two kinds of facilities, hub facilities and remote facilities, with different capacities and installation costs. We are given a set of customers with each demand requirements, a set of candidate installation sites of facilities, and connection costs between facilities. We need to determine the locations to place facilities, the number of facilities for each selected location, the set of customers who are connected to each installed hub via installed remote facilities with minimum cost, while satisfying demand requirements of each customer. We formulate this problem as a general integer programming problem and solve it to optimality. In this paper, we present a preprocessing procedure to tighten the formulation and develop a branch-and-price algorithm. In the algorithm, we consider the integer knapsack problem as the column generation problem. Computational experiments show that the algorithm gives optimal solutions in a reasonable time.

본 논문에서는 물 재이용 펌프 시스템의 에너지 효율적 운전 방법을 제안한다. 1시간 단위의 시간대에서 최적운전제어를 위해 예측구간 스위칭방법과 선형계획법을 적용하고 에너지 비용은 경부하, 중부하, 그리고 최대부하를 포함한 TOU 요금과 피크요금을 통해 산정하도록 한다. 물 재이용 펌프시스템에서의 최적운전은 TOU 요금과 피크요금을 포함한 에너지 비용을 최대로 줄일 수 있도록 수행한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 최적운전방법을 적용하면 많은 전력 에너지 비용의 절감과 전력계통의 안정성 향상을 확인할 수 있다.
