  • This paper presents a comparison of core losses for the four cases of Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM) with different winding method and switching sequence. With concentrated winding SRM, two kinds of switching sequence are considered for one-phase exciting and two-phase simultaneously exciting driving. With both distributed winding and toroidal winding, two-phase exciting driving is considered. The ratio of calculated core losses to input power is able to be used a guide or reference for deciding the winding method and switching sequence of in the initial design stage of SRM.

This paper proposes the new restoration strategy considering the coordination of the protective devices and the generalized method for determining the switching sequence.   • An optimized PWM switching strategy for an induction motor voltage control is developed and demonstrated. Space vector modulation in voltage source inverter offers improved DC-bus utilization and reduced commutation losses, and has been therefor recognizedas the perfered PWM method, especially in the case of digital implementation. Three-phase invertor voltage control by space vector modulation consists of switching between the two active and one zero voltage vector by using the proposed optimal PWM algorithm. The prefered switching sequence is defined as a function of the modulation index and period of a carrier wave. The sequence is selected by suing the inverter switching losses and the current ripple as the criteria. For low and medium power application, the experimental results indicate that good dynamic response and reduced harmonic distortion can be achieved by increasing switching frequency.

  • A zero vector selection method to reduce switching losses for model predictive control (MPC) of voltage source inverter is proposed. A conventional MPC of voltage source inverter has not been proposed, and a method to select the redundancy of the zero vector is required for this study. In this paper, the redundancy of the zero vectors is selected with generating a zero sequence voltage to reduce switching losses. The zero vector of 2-level inverter is determined by determining sign of the zero sequence voltage. In the proposed method, the quality of the current is retained and switching loss can be reduced compared with the conventional method. This result was verified by P-sim simulation and experiments.

  • The equivalent circuit of a three-leg, four-wire voltage source converter (VSC) is derived using switching functions. Simulations and experiments are conducted (i) to investigate the effects of the zero sequence on VSCs when a three-phase imbalance exists and (ii) to use the consistency of simulations and laboratory experiments to validate the equivalent circuit. The impact of a three-phase imbalance on the VSC has yet to be fully investigated because of the lack of an equivalent circuit to show rigorously how the zero sequence currents flow through the VSC.

  • Conventional variable-speed Induction motor drives with inverters are subject to detrimental effect of zero-sequence voltages, such a shaft voltage and bearing current. This paper presents a way of the suppression of the zero-sequence components in multilevel H-bridge inverters. First examined Is the inherent zero-sequence characteristic of the conventional subharmonic PW method. Then it is shown that the zero-sequence voltage can be eliminated with proper -selection of switching states with space vector modulation. Although this method alone restricts the linear modulation range of control, a combination of the proposed method and the minimum switching method appears to be effective in suppressing the zero-sequence voltage to minimum level while maintaining the linear control range.

  • 출력 키수열의 사이클 수가 암호 분야에서 새로운 평가 요소로서 제안된 바 있으나 대부분의 이진 수열 발생기는 출력 사이클이 1개 뿐인 것으로 알려져 있다 본 논문에서는 다수 사이클을 갖는 발생기의 기본 함수로서 switching-tap LFSR과 이를 응용한 Rueppel 개선형 다수열 발생기를 제안하였다. 그리고 개선된 발생기에 대하여 주기, 선형 복잡도 및 출력 사이클 수에 대하여 안전성을 분석하였다.

  • A large number of soft switching topologies included a resonant circuit have been proposed. But these circuits increase number of switch in circuit and complicate sequence of switching operation. In this Paper, the authors propose power conversion system, DC-AC inverter of high efficiency and high power factor with soft switching mode by partial resonant method. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of system is high. And the snubber condenser used in partial resonant circuit makes charging energy regenerated at input power source for resonant operation.

  • 대용량 스위칭 스루풋 요구를 만족시키면서 초고속 라인 속도를 처리해야하는 대용량. 초고속 ATM 스위칭 구조설계에는 다수경로 특성을 갖는 구조를 이용한다. 그러나 다수경로 특성을 갖는 스위칭 구조에서는 순서바뀜현상이 피할 수 없이 발생한다. 이 논문에서는 다수경로 스위칭 구조의 특성을 분석하여 순서 바뀜 가능성을 정량적으로 분석해볼 수 있는 분석모델을 제안한다. 그리고 이 모델을 이용하여 다수경로 스위치의 구조 파라메타들과 셀 순서바뀜현상과의 관계를 분석한다. 이 파라메타로는 다수경로의 수 (L), 입력 셀스트림의 특성, 스위치 크기(N), 및 트렁크를 구성하는 가상회선 수($V_{ch}$)등이며, 다수경로가 순서바뀜현상을 일으킬 때에 미치는 영향을 분석한다.

  • This paper presents a construction method of logic-based switching control system which operates in widely changing environments. The logic-based switching controller is composed of a family of candidate controllers together with a supervisor. The system does not require any identification schemes of environments. Switching from one candidate controller to another is carried out based on monitoring the output of the system. The basic ideas of adaptation are as follows: (1)each candidate controller is prepared for each environment in advance; (2)the supervisor applies a sequence of speculative controls to a plant with candidate controllers just after the control has started and just after the change of the environment has been detected. It is important that each candidate controller can keep the system stable during a sequence of speculative controls, and the most appropriate candidate controller for the environment to which the system is exposed can be selected before the last speculative control is ended. An application to an antiskid braking system clarifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
