Recently, NAND flash memory is becoming into the spotlight as a next-generation storage device because of its small size, fast speed, low power consumption, and etc. compared to the hard disk. However, due to the distinct characteristics such as erase-before-write architecture, asymmetric operation speed and unit, disk-based systems and applications may result in severe performance degradation when directly implementing them on NAND flash memory. Especially when a B-tree is implemented on NAND flash memory, intensive overwrite operations may be caused by record inserting, deleting, and reorganizing. These may result in severe performance degradation. Although
This paper presents ZVZCS(Zero-Voltage and Zero-Current Switching) Three Level DC/DC Converter without primary freewheeling diodes. The new converter presented in this paper used a phase shirt control with a flying capacitor in the primary side to achieve ZVS for the outer switches. A secondary anxiliary circuit which consists of one small capacitor, two small diodes and one coupled inductor, is added in the secondary to provide ZVZCS conditions to primary switches, ZVS for outer switches and ZCS for inner switches. Many advantages include simple secondary auxiliary circuit topology, high efficiency, and low cost make the new converter attractive for high power applications. Also the circulating current flows through the circuit so that it causes the needless coduction loss to be occurred in the devices and the transformer of the circuit The new converter has no primary auxiliary diodes for freewheeling current. The principle of operation, feature and design considerations are illustrated and verified through the experiment with a 1[㎾] 50[KHz]IGBT based experimental circuit.
In a client-server model, network server systems suffer from both heavy communication and computational loads. While communication channels become increasingly speedy, the existing protocol stack architectures still include mainly three performance bottlenecks of protocol stack processing, system call, and network interrupt overheads. To address these obstacles, in this paper we present a host-independent network system where a network interface card (NIC) is utilized in an efficient manner. First, by offloading network-related portion to the NIC, the host can fully utilize its processing power for other useful purposes. Second, it eliminates the system call overhead, such as context-switching and memory copy operations, since the host communicates with the NIC through its user-level libraries. Third, it a] so reduces the network interrupt operation count as the host handles the interrupt in a segment instead of a packet. The experimental results show that the proposed network system reduces the host CPU overhead for communication system by 68-71%. It also shows that the proposed system improves the communication speed by 11-83% under heavy computational and communication load conditions.

The Cambodian People's Party swept all 125 assembly seats with 76.78% of the vote in 2018 general elections. The Cambodian National Rescue Party, having been dissolved by court, was excluded from the election and attempted to nullify the legitimacy of the election by demanding its supporters to boycott the election. The Cambodian People's Party launched a campaign encouraging to vote in a desperate need to thwart the boycott movement. The election then became an unprecedented kind of competition the winner of which is decided not by the percentage of the vote but by turnout. The Cambodian People's Party was the winner with the high turnout of 82.89%, securing the means to defend the legitimacy of the election. The potential supporters of the Cambodian National Rescue Party spread out with about a million voters switching to support the Cambodian People's Party. Over a half million invalid votes that unequivocally voiced opposition to the Cambodian People's Party were not sufficient to deny the legitimacy of the election. Having experienced the fierce competition in the 2013 general elections that threatened to end its rule, the Cambodian People's Party decided to secure its power in the upcoming election and executed a tactic designed to remove the rival party through legal means. Competition being removed, the Cambodian political system decayed back to hegemonic electoral authoritarianism from competitive electoral authoritarianism to which it had mad gradual progress through the general elections in the past.
A light sensor chip requires a small capacity eFuse (electrical fuse) OTP (One-Time Programmable) memory IP (Intellectual Property) to trim analog circuits or set initial values of digital registers. In this paper, 128-bit eFuse OTP IP is designed using only 3.3V MV (Medium Voltage) devices without using 1.8V LV (Low-Voltage) logic devices. The eFuse OTP IP designed with 3.3V single MOS devices can reduce a total process cost of three masks which are the gate oxide mask of a 1.8V LV device and the LDD implant masks of NMOS and PMOS. And since the 1.8V voltage regulator circuit is not required, the size of the illuminance sensor chip can be reduced. In addition, in order to reduce the number of package pins of the illumination sensor chip, the VPGM voltage, which is a program voltage, is applied through the VPGM pad during wafer test, and the VDD voltage is applied through the PMOS power switching circuit after packaging, so that the number of package pins can be reduced.
The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70

In this study, the design and performance test of the air to water heat pump capable of producing hot water for greenhouse heating by using the surplus solar heat inside the greenhouse and the air heat outside greenhouse as the selective heat source were conducted. The heat storage operations using the surplus solar heat and the outside air heat were designed to be switched according to the setting temperature of the greenhouse in consideration of the optimum temperature range of the crop. In the developed system, it was possible to automatically control the switching of heat storage operation, heating and ventilation by setting 12 reference temperatures on the control panel. In the selective heat storage operation with the surplus solar heat and outside air heat, the temperature of thermal storage tank was controlled variably from
Digital economy has grown rapidly so that the new business area called 'Internet business' has been dramatically extended as time goes on. However, in the case of Internet business, market shares of individual companies seem to fluctuate very extremely. Thus marketing managers who operate the Internet sites have seriously observed the competition structure of the Internet business market and carefully analyzed the competitors' behavior in order to achieve their own business goals in the market. The newly created Internet business might differ from the offline ones in management styles, because it has totally different business circumstances when compared with the existing offline businesses. Thus, there should be a lot of researches for finding the solutions about what the features of Internet business are and how the management style of those Internet business companies should be changed. Most marketing literatures related to the Internet business have focused on individual business markets. Specifically, many researchers have studied the Internet portal sites and the Internet shopping mall sites, which are the most general forms of Internet business. On the other hand, this study focuses on the entire Internet business industry to understand the competitive circumstance of online market. This approach makes it possible not only to have a broader view to comprehend overall e-business industry, but also to understand the differences in competition structures among Internet business markets. We used time-series data of Internet connection rates by consumers as the basic data to figure out the competition patterns in the Internet business markets. Specifically, the data for this research was obtained from one of Internet ranking sites, 'Fian'. The Internet business ranking data is obtained based on web surfing record of some pre-selected sample group where the possibility of double-count for page-views is controlled by method of same IP check. The ranking site offers several data which are very useful for comparison and analysis of competitive sites. The Fian site divides the Internet business areas into 34 area and offers market shares of big 5 sites which are on high rank in each category daily. We collected the daily market share data about Internet sites on each area from April 22, 2008 to August 5, 2008, where some errors of data was found and 30 business area data were finally used for our research after the data purification. This study performed several empirical analyses in focusing on market shares of each site to understand the competition among sites in Internet business of Korea. We tried to perform more statistically precise analysis for looking into business fields with similar competitive structures by applying the cluster analysis to the data. The research results are as follows. First, the leading sites in each area were classified into three groups based on averages and standard deviations of daily market shares. The first group includes the sites with the lowest market shares, which give more increased convenience to consumers by offering the Internet sites as complimentary services for existing offline services. The second group includes sites with medium level of market shares, where the site users are limited to specific small group. The third group includes sites with the highest market shares, which usually require online registration in advance and have difficulty in switching to another site. Second, we analyzed the second place sites in each business area because it may help us understand the competitive power of the strongest competitor against the leading site. The second place sites in each business area were classified into four groups based on averages and standard deviations of daily market shares. The four groups are the sites showing consistent inferiority compared to the leading sites, the sites with relatively high volatility and medium level of shares, the sites with relatively low volatility and medium level of shares, the sites with relatively low volatility and high level of shares whose gaps are not big compared to the leading sites. Except 'web agency' area, these second place sites show relatively stable shares below 0.1 point of standard deviation. Third, we also classified the types of relative strength between leading sites and the second place sites by applying the cluster analysis to the gap values of market shares between two sites. They were also classified into four groups, the sites with the relatively lowest gaps even though the values of standard deviation are various, the sites with under the average level of gaps, the sites with over the average level of gaps, the sites with the relatively higher gaps and lower volatility. Then we also found that while the areas with relatively bigger gap values usually have smaller standard deviation values, the areas with very small differences between the first and the second sites have a wider range of standard deviation values. The practical and theoretical implications of this study are as follows. First, the result of this study might provide the current market participants with the useful information to understand the competitive circumstance of the market and build the effective new business strategy for the market success. Also it might be useful to help new potential companies find a new business area and set up successful competitive strategies. Second, it might help Internet marketing researchers take a macro view of the overall Internet market so that make possible to begin the new studies on overall Internet market beyond individual Internet market studies.
