Three-Level H-Bridge 컨버터를 이용한 철도차량용 지능형 변압기의 구조 및 제어 (Structure and Control of Smart Transformer with Single-Phase Three-Level H-Bridge Cascade Converter for Railway Traction System)

  • 본 논문은 철도차량의 추진용 유입식 변압기 및 AC/DC 컨버터를 대체하기 위한 지능형 변압기의 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 지능형 변압기는 반도체 스위칭 소자 및 고주파 변압기를 사용한 양방향 전력 변환 컨버터의 형태로써, 기존 변압기에 비해 경량화 되고, 역률 제어 등의 능동적인 제어 성능으로 인해 단상 계통 전원의 효율적인 활용을 가능하게 한다. 제안하는 지능형 변압기는 60Hz 교류 고전압을 직류 고전압으로 변환하기 위한 정류단으로 Neutral point clamped type 의 H-bridge 컨버터를 여러 개 직렬 연결해 구성했다. 직류로 변환된 입력단 전력은 고주파 변압기와 Neutral point clamped type H-bridge 컨버터 2개로 구성된 Dual-Active-Bridge 컨버터를 이용해 출력측에 필요한 저전압을 공급할 수 있도록 했다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 다수의 컨버터 모듈 내부 직류단 전압을 균형제어하며, 단상 교류 전원에서 직류 출력 전원간의 양방향 전력 제어를 가능하게 하는 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 지능형 변압기의 구조 및 제어 시스템은 75kVA 급 3.3kVrms 입력, 750VDC 출력의 지능형 변압기를 설계 및 회로 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 검증했다.

차량 탑재형 고소작업대의 사고분석을 통한 안전대책 고찰 (Review of Safety Measures through Analysis of Accidents on the Vehicle-mounted MEWP(mobile elevated work platforms))

  • 본 논문에서는 고소작업에 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 차량 탑승형 고소작업대의 재해사례분석을 통해 예방대책을 제안하였다. 높은 위치에서의 고소작업은 사고가 발생한 경우 치명적인 인명사고로 이어지기 때문에 이에 대한 안전 대책이 더욱 절실하다. 이에 고소작업 중 발생하는 여러 가지 유형의 사고에 대한 원인을 분석하여 유형별 안전대책을 제시하고, 나아가 사고를 줄일 수 있도록 관련법규의 제정 또는 개정안을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 고소작업대의 사고유형을 크게 4가지로 분류하였다. 첫째 와이어로프 구동시스템 불량, 둘째 허용 작업반경 초과로 인한 전도 및 붐 파손, 셋째 턴테이블 불량, 넷째 아우트리거 불량으로서, 가 유형별 사고사례를 분석하고 안전대책을 제시하고, 현행 규정상 고소작업대의 운전 조종에 관한 아무런 규정이 없어서 고소작업대의 운전 조종에 관한 교육 및 자격증 신설을 제시하였다. 그리고 증가하고 있는 안전사고의 예방을 위해 고소작업대의 안전인증 및 안전검사 기준을 강화하는 정책에 발맞추어 법규 개정을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과가 실무에 적용된다면 고소작업대로 인한 사고를 크게 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

태양광 보조전원을 설치한 소형선박의 타당성 연구 (A Study on the Feasibility of Installing Solar Auxiliary Power for Small Fishing Boats)

  • 대한민국의 낚시산업은 레저활동을 즐기는 인구 증가로 인해 매년 급성장하고 있으며 이에따라 규모가 큰 9-10톤급 낚시어선의 수는 매년 늘어나고 있다. 현재 운항 중인 낚시어선은 낚시 활동 중 유류비 절감과 엔진 발생 소음 저감을 위해 엔진을 정지하고 배터리를 이용하여 선박의 필수장비를 운영하고 있다. 하지만 배터리의 방전으로 인한 엔진 시동불량 등으로 인해 해상에서 표류되는 사고가 매년 꾸준히 발생하고 있으며, 이는 대형 인명사고로 이어질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 낚시어선의 안전확보를 위해 태양광 보조전원 설치를 제안하고, 9-10톤급 선박을 대상으로 선정하였다. 대상선박의 태양광 발전설비 공간 확보 가능성을 확인하였으며, 태양광 발전설비의 적용을 검증하기 위해 조업 중 필요한 필수 부하량을 계산하고 전력분석프로그램을 통해 태양광 발전시스템을 모델링하였다. 모델링 된 태양광 발전시스템에 우리나라의 월별 수평면 평균 일사량을 적용하여 낚시어선의 태양광 보조발전장치 적용에 관한 타당성을 입증하였다.

N-Acyl-Homoserine Lactone Quorum Sensing Switch from Acidogenesis to Solventogenesis during the Fermentation Process in Serratia marcescens MG1

  • N-acyl-homoserine lactone quorum sensing (AHL-QS) has been shown to regulate many physiological behaviors in Serratia marcescens MG1. In the current study, the effects of AHL-QS on the biosynthesis of acid and neutral products by S. marcescens MG1 and its isogenic ${\Delta}swrI$ with or without supplementing exogenous N-hexanoyl-L-homoserine lactone ($C_6-HSL$) were systematically investigated. The results showed that swrI disruption resulted in rapid pH drops from 7.0 to 4.8, which could be restored to wild type by supplementing $C_6-HSL$. Furthermore, fermentation product analysis indicated that ${\Delta}swrI$ could lead to obvious accumulation for acidogenesis products such as lactic acid and succinic acid, especially excess acetic acid (2.27 g/l) produced at the early stage of fermentation, whereas solventogenesis products by ${\Delta}swrI$ appeared to noticeably decrease by an approximate 30% for acetoin during 32-48 h and by an approximate 20% for 2,3-butanediol during 24-40 h, when compared to those by wild type. Interestingly, the excess acetic acid produced could be removed in an AHL-QS-independent manner. Subsequently, quantitative real-time PCR was used to determine the mRNA expression levels of genes responsible for acidogenesis and solventogenesis and showed consistent results with those of product synthesis. Finally, by close examination of promoter regions of the analyzed genes, four putative luxI box-like motifs were found upstream of genes encoding acetyl-CoA synthase, lactate dehydrogenase, ${\alpha}$-acetolactate decarboxylase, and Lys-like regulator. The information from this study provides a novel insight into the roles played by AHL-QS in switching from acidogenesis to solventogenesis in S. marcescens MG1.

HVRT 기능 요구조건을 만족하는 Type 4 풍력 발전기의 효율적인 직류단 전압 설계 (The efficient DC-link voltage design of the Type 4 wind turbine that satisfies HVRT function requirements)

  • 본 논문에서는 계통망 사업자의 High Voltage Ride-Through(HVRT) 기능 요구조건을 만족하며, 정상상태에서의 손실을 최소화할 수 있는 Type 4 풍력발전기의 직류단 전압 설계 방법을 제안한다. 대용량 해상 풍력 발전에 사용되는 Type 4 풍력발전기는 전력 계통과 연계된 컨버터와 풍력 발전기와 연계된 컨버터가 직류단을 공유하는 Back-to-Back 컨버터 형태이다. Type 4 풍력발전기에서 HVRT 조건인 계통 고전압 사고가 발생한 경우 사고 전압 크기에 비해 직류단 전압이 부족하다면 과변조로 인해 계통측 컨버터의 전류 제어기가 원활하게 동작되지 못한다. 따라서 HVRT 기능을 만족하기 위해서는 고전압 사고의 전압 크기를 기준으로 직류단 전압을 설계해야 한다. 그러나 직류단 전압의 크기의 증가는 정상상태에서의 컨버터 손실 증가를 야기하므로, 직류단 전압을 크게 설계하였을 때 증가될 손실에 대한 고려가 포함되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사고 전압의 크기와 발생 손실이 고려된 직류단 전압을 설계하는 방법에 대해 설명하고, 제안하는 설계 방법의 타당성을 2MVA급 Type 4 풍력발전기의 PSCAD 모델 기반 HVRT 기능 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

직류 커패시터 노후화에 따른 PV 인버터 동작 (PV Inverter Operation according to DC Capacitor Aging)

  • 태양광 발전은 신재생에너지 중 가장 친숙한 발전시설로 약 10여 년 전부터 보급이 확대되기 시작해 현재 시점에서는 시스템의 유지보수관리에 대한 해결 및 기술에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 특히 태양광 발전시스템의 이상 유무 및 부품 교체시기 그리고 시스템의 종합효율을 최대화할 수 있는 대책이 필요하다. 태양광발전시스템의 한 요소인 PV 인버터는 전력용 스위칭 소자에 의존하는 전력변환 시스템으로 DC/DC 컨버터 및 DC-AC 인버터 구성에 따른 직류(DC-Link) 커패시터가 사용된다. 이러한 직류 커패시터 역시 장시간 사용에 따른 노후 및 열화로 인해 PV 인버터의 발전량 감소와 전력손실 그리고 고조파(THD, 교류출력전류 종합왜형률) 증가로 신재생에너지 설비를 통한 계통 안전성(Safety)에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 태양광발전시스템에서 현재 운영 중인 직류 커패시터 용량 상태에 따른 PV 인버터 동작 특성을 고찰함과 동시에 신재생에너지 설비의 안전성 및 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있도록 연구내용을 제안하였다.

세계측지계 전환 활성화를 위한 방안 연구 (The Research on scheme for revitalization of Conversion into World Geodetic Reference System)

  • 국가측지계는 지도제작 분야, 국토의 개발에 있어 단일한 위치기준을 제공하여 주는 것으로서 국가에서 법령으로 정의하고 유지관리를 하고 있다. 최근까지 세계 각 국가에서는 천문측량에 의한 독자적인 측지계를 사용하였으나, 최근 우주 위성측지기술의 발전으로 전 지구 규모의 고정밀 측지기준계(세계좌표계)가 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 우리나라도 2001년 12월 측량법을 개정하여 기존에 사용하던 Bessel 타원체를 준거타원체로 하는 기존측지계에서 GRS80타원체를 준거타원체로 하는 세계측지계로 국가측지계를 전환하였다. 이에 따라 국토지리정보원을 중심으로 다양한 연구결과가 도출되어 세계측지계로의 전환을 위한 기술적 제도적 기반이 어느 정도 갖추어졌음에도 불구하고, 국토지리정보원, 국토해양부 및 일부 지방자치단체가 세계측지계 전환을 추진하고 있어 지방자치단체나 공공기관으로 확산되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 세계측지계 전환을 활성화하기 위해서는 현재 세계측지계 전환의 기술적, 제도적 문제점 및 저해 요인을 분석하고 해결 방안을 제시하여 이에 대한 정책적 실행방안의 수립이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구결과 및 자료조사, 세계측지계 전환 추진현황을 분석하고 세계측지계 전환의 문제점을 분석하여 기술적, 제도적 보완사항을 제시하고, 전환 대상 및 전환 유형에 대한 표준화를 수행하였으며, 국토지리정보원 및 유관기관의 업무범위 제시 및 2010년 세계측지계 전면 사용을 위한 정책방향을 제시함으로써 세계측지계 전환의 활성화를 도모하고자 하였다.

비정질 강자성체 CoSiB/Pd 다층박막의 두께에 따른 수직자기이방성 변화 (Thickness Dependence of Amorphous CoSiB/Pd Multilayer with Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy)

  • 비정질 합금인 CoSiB과 비자성체 Pd을 이용하여 CoSiB/Pd 다층박막을 제작하고, 그 자기적인 특성을 분석하였다. $[CoSiB\;t_{CoSiB}/Pd\;1.3nm]_5$ 다층박막을 $t_{CoSiB}$ = 0.1~0.6 nm의 범위로 제작하였고, 동일한 방법으로 $[CoSiB\;0.3nm/Pd\;t_{Pd}]_5$ 다층박막을 $t_{Pd}$ = 1.0~1.6 nm의 범위로 제작하여 두께에 따른 자기이방성과 포화자화도를 측정하였다. CoSiB 두께가 증함에 따라 포화자화도가 증가하는 경향을 보였는데, 특히 CoSiB의 두께가 0.2~0.3 nm 일 때 포화자화도가 급격하게 증가하였다. 보자력은 두께 0.2 nm 에서 최대값을 보이다가 두께가 증가함에 따라 점차 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. Pd의 두께 변화 실험에서는 포화자화도는 1.1~1.2 nm 구간에서 약간 감소하다가 1.3 nm 이후 점차 증가하였으며, 보자력은 포화자화도에 비해 확연한 규칙성을 보이지 않았으나, 전체적으로 Pd의 두께가 증가함에 따라 값이 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The authors suggests that this system based on down-sized computer could provide a progressive approach to total LIS based on local area network, and the implemented system could serve as a model for other hospital's LIS for routine hematology. 30609 T00401030609 ^x To develop an artificial bone substitute that is gradually degraded and replaced by the regenerated natural bone, the authors designed a composite that is consisted of calcium phosphate and collagen. To use as the structural matrix of the composite, collagen was purified from human umbilical cord.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction.
