This study is purposed to compare PR activities among the 5 large hospitals in Seoul and Kyonggido. The research methods are used in interview survey for employees and Questionnaires survey for patients or their relatives. The 427 patients or their relatives(response rate: 85.4%) were surveyed. The hospital which is below, is more active than any others in special PR activities. 1. Distribution of hospital information books: E, P, A 2. Distribution of calendar: P 3. Broadcast in hospital: E 4. Education of employees about PR : E, A 5. Education of employees about service: all hospitals are active. The PR sectors are organized under the Department of planning(S,J,E) or CEO(P,A). And the budget of PR activities is almost a similar level among all. The degree of recognition and utilization for PR activities is not different among hopitals by the sociodemographic variables of patients. And the average of correlation ratio between recognition of each hopital's PR activities and its utilization is 62.01%(range:51.29%-67.98%) average.

This study investigated consumers' recognition on shelf life of health functional foods to set up their rational expiration date. For this study 107 male and female adults aged 20 to 59 years were randomly selected as major consumers of health functional foods. And their data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0. The questionnaire included questions asking a consumer's recognition on the shelf life of health functional foods and how to treat health function food passing its shelf life. In this study, the consumers were found to pay attentions considerably to the shelf life. But most of them did not know an accurate meaning of the shelf life of health functional food and mistook it for expiry date. In addition, the consumers doubted safety of health functional foods passing the shelf life. Therefore, education for consumers about an accurate meaning of the shelf life was needed. The results of this study were considered to be helpful to set up a reasonable expiration date for health functional food.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analysis the determinants and trend of suicidal ideation the elderly in Korea. Methods: This study participants were selected the elderly over the age of 55 from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2001(n=1,122), 2005(n=2,098), and 2010(n=2,402). Statistical analysis methods used in this study were $x^2$-test, logistic regression analysis and other basic statistics such frequency, percentage using SPSS version 21.0. Results: In 2001, the influencing factors of suicidal ideation was spouses, subjective health status and stress recognition. In 2005, the influencing factors of suicidal ideation were spouses, subjective health status, chronic disease amount, activity limitation, depression experience and stress recognition. In 2010, the influencing factors of suicidal ideation were elderly, education level, subjective health status, activity limitation, depression experience and stress recognition. Conclusions: The health education considering the characteristics of each elderly group should be developed and applied to prevent adults' suicidal ideation because the factors influencing suicidal ideation were revealed differently between the elderly group.

Background: The purpose of this study is to provide students with the opportunity to thing about the career of physical therapist and career after graduation through the survey on the perception and career preference of physical therapy service for college students majoring in physical therapy. and to provide guidance for employment guidance. Methods: A total of 271 students majoring in physical therapy at A University in Gyeonggi-do were surveyed. After the preliminary explanation of the questionnaire, the questionnaire was distributed and prepared. of the 271 data, 270 were collected and used as the final analysis data. Results: The results of this study were as follows: 1) The higher the age and the higher the grade, the higher the perceived job recognition rate of the agencies. (p<.05), respectively. In other occupational awareness surveys, there was no significant difference in gender, age, and grade (p>.05). 2) In the preference survey, men preferred orthopedic physical therapy and female preferred neurological physical therapy. The preference for the desired institution after graduation was highest for general hospitals by gender, age, and grade. Conclusion: In conclusion, the higher the age and grade, the higher was the physical therapy profession awareness and overall had a positive perception of physical therapy jobs.

This study aims to analyse the consumer and regional dwellers preferences of nonghyup influenced by contributions of socio-economical using ordered logit model. The survey data were obtained from 225 adults in Chungnam province, cross sectional data in 2007. This paper especially estimates the impact of socio-economic characteristics, such as sex, occupation, school career, and emotional and subjective recognition of contributions of regional socio-economical and culture development, social welfare, It also examines the impact of recognition of cooperational level with local government's policy, customer satisfaction ratings, degree of business ethics. The main results are as follows; the consumer and regional dwellers preferences of nonghyup is not affected by sex, occupation, school career. But the consumer and regional dwellers preferences of nonghyup is influenced by emotional and subjective recognition of contributions of regional socio-economical and culture development, social welfare, It also influenced by emotional and subjective recognition of policy cooperation level with local government, customer satisfaction ratings, degree of business ethics.

Constructs with seven latent evaluation indicators and 18 observable survey questions were developed by food and nutrition experts to calculate a food safety recognition and practice index for children. The purpose of this study was to suggest statistical approaches to test construction validity on the constructs, obtain weights of the evaluation indicators, and develop questionnaires to calculate a children's food recognition and practice index. Survey data of 2,400 elementary fifth grade students were used as empirical results. Test validity was evaluated by exploratory factor analysis and confirmed to be highly significant by confirmatory factor analysis [i.e., linear structural relations (LISREL) analysis]. Standardized path coefficients of the LISREL analysis were suggested based on weights, and the weights were compared using the AHP and Delphi methods.

This study is about finding out characteristic of recognition individual housing in seaside of Donghae. To accomplish this purpose, we survey the 150 houses related to the landscape. Thus the major analysis is to take basic data, such as image(modern, western, traditional, etc) about exterior form of housing corresponding to the landscape. The result summarized as follows First, the elements for the characteristic of recognition were exterior material finish, exterior color, roof type, roof material finish, window size, roof slope, area of wall vs roof. Second, the image of traditional housing was very insufficient to plan landscape of housing with design elements. This research suggests that landscape housing of future is to be environmental landscape design and the proper design is to be various considering not only user's preference but also control of landscape.

Objectives: This study investigates factors influencing the perpetrations of sexual violence while dating among college students. Methods: With a correlational survey design, a self-report survey was conducted and collected 1,132 responses from college students with dating experiences. Methods including descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were used to analyze data. Results: Compared to college students with no perpetrations of sexual violence, college students with perpetrations of sexual violence had significantly higher scores in father's violence, mother's violence, gender role stereotype, and sexual violence permissiveness. On the other hand they had significantly lower scores in sexual assault recognition than the compared group. A multiple regression model result forecasted parents' violence, sexual assault recognition, sexual violence permissiveness, and gender as prediction indicators of perpetrations of sexual violence. Conclusion: To prevent sexual violence while dating, domestic violence should be decreased through parents education and counseling from childhood. High-risk groups should be detected by surveying socio-psychological variables including experience of domestic violence, sexual assault recognition, and sexual violence permissiveness. It need to develop and implement sexual violence prevention programs to accurately inform and aware sexual violence.

Emotional semantics are the highest level of semantics that can be extracted from an image. Constructing a system that can automatically recognize the emotional semantics from images will be significant for marketing, smart healthcare, and deep human-computer interaction. To understand the direction of image emotion recognition as well as the general research methods, we summarize the current development trends and shed light on potential future research. The primary contributions of this paper are as follows. We investigate the color, texture, shape and contour features used for emotional semantics extraction. We establish two models that map images into emotional space and introduce in detail the various processes in the image emotional semantic recognition framework. We also discuss important datasets and useful applications in the field such as garment image and image retrieval. We conclude with a brief discussion about future research trends.

We present a survey on the evaluation methods of speech recognition technology and propose a procedure for evaluating Korean speech recognition systems. Currently there are various kinds of evaluation events conducted by NIST and ELDA every year. In this paper, we introduce these activities, and propose an evaluation procedure for Korean speech recognition systems. In designing the procedure, we consider the characteristics of Korean language, as well as the trends of Korean speech technology industry.
