YIG, Bi:YIG, TbBi:YIG 단결정 후막의 성장과 특성 (Growth and Characteristics of YIG, Bi:YIG, TbBi:YIG Single Crystal Thick Films)

  • Y$_3$Fe$_{5}$O$_{12}$(YIG), $Y_3$Fe$_{5}$O$_{12}$(Bi:YIG), TbBi:YIG를 (GdCa)$_3$(GaMgZr)$_{5}$O$_{12}$ (SGGG)기판 위에 Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE)법으로 단결정 후막을 성장시켰다. 기판회전속도, 과냉도, 성장시간을 고정하여 치환되는 원소의 종류와 양에 따라 가네트 단결정의 격자상수, Bi 치환양, 표면형상, 자기적 특성을 조사하였다. TbBi:YIG 조성의 경우 격자상수는 12.500 $\AA$으로 기판의 격자상수인 12.496 $\AA$에 근접하게 나타났으며, 포화자계는 150 Oe로 향상된 결과가 나타났다.

제조방법에 따른 Y-PSZ 분말의 응집 및 소결특성 (The Characteristic of Agglomerate and Sintering of Y-PSZ Powders Prepared by Different Processes)

  • Agglomeration of Y-PSZ and its related properties were studied. The ultrafine $ZrO_2$ powder containg 3 mol% $Y_2O_3$ was prepared by 1) coprecipitation method b) hot petroleum drying method c) sol-gel method and the characteristics of calcined powders and the microstructures of sintered body were observed. Powder prepared by the coprecipitation method was about 125$\AA$ in crystallite size and 0.1~1.0${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of intra-agglomerate pore size when calcined at $600^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. because of small crystallite size and weak agglo merate strength resultant densification of sintered body was high. But above the temperature of 130$0^{\circ}C$ efflorescent phenomena due to anions attached to powder surface was observed. Powder prepared by hot petroleum drying method was 65$\AA$ in crystallite size and 1~10${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of intraagglome-rate pore size and it was observed that the agglemerates were formed during the calcining process. In this case despite of small crystallite size the rate of sintering was slow and the existing lenticular interagglomerate pore was not eliminated to the final stage of sintering. Powder prepared by sol-gel method showed solid agglomertes due to rapi dhydrolysis reaction. In this powder which involves strong solid agglomerates overall sintering rate was determined by the sintering between the agglomerates and therefore sinterability of powders made by sol-gel method was very poor.

강우시 국내 불포화 풍화토 사면에서의 습윤영향 분석 (Influence of Rainfall-induced Wetting on Unsaturated Weathered Slopes)

  • 얕은사면 파괴는 지표로 침투하는 강우에 의해 주로 발생한다. 이는 지표수의 침투시 모관흡수력의 감소에 의한 포화깊이 증가에 의해 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 국내의 전형적인 화강풍화토를 대상으로 강우시 사면에서의 습윤영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 filter paper와 tensiometer 실험을 수행하여 함수특성곡선을 산정하였으며, 그에 따른 함수특성곡선의 방정식을 추정하였으며, 기존에 사용되고 있는 Green & Ampt의 포화 깊이 추정식과 수치해석결과를 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, Green & Ampt모델에 의한 이론 해는 포화깊이를 과소 추정하였으며, 포화깊이가 증가함에 따라 사면안전율은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 포화깊이가 약 1.2m이상부터 사면안전율은 현저하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

The Investigation on Thermal Aging Characteristics of Oil-Paper Insulation in Bushing

  • Bushing is the key link to connect outer and inner insulating systems and also the essential electric accessory in electric power system, especially in the high voltage engineering (AC 1000kV, DC 800kV). This paper presented the experimental research of thermal aging characteristic of oil-paper insulation used in bushing. A thermally accelerated aging experiment at 90℃ was performed. The bushing models containing five layers of paper were sealed into the aging vessels and further aged for 250 days. Then several important parameters associated with the aging were observed and evaluated. The results showed that the degree of polymerization (DP) of papers gradually decreased. The DP values of outermost layer and middle layer fit well into the second-order kinematic model and first-order kinematic model, respectively. Less deterioration speed of the inter-layer paper than outer layer was confirmed by the variation of DP. Hydrolysis was considered as the main cause to this phenomenon. In addition, the logarithm of the furfural concentrations in insulation oil was found to have good linear relationship with DP of papers. Interestingly, when the aging time is about 250 days and DP is 419, the aging process reaches an inflection point at which the DP approaches the leveling off degree of polymerization (LODP) value. Both tanδ and acid number of oils increased, while surface and volume resistivity of papers decreased. The obtained results demonstrated that thermal aging and moisture absorbed in papers brought great influence to the degradation of insulating paper, leading to rapid decrease of DP and increase of the tanδ. Thus, the bushing should be avoided from damp and real-time monitoring to the variation of tanδ and DP values of paper is an effective way to evaluate the insulation status of bushing.

직접토크 제어에 의한 SPMSM 속도제어시스템 개발 (Development of Speed Control System for SPMSM with Direct Torque Control)

  • 최근 급속도로 발전되고 있는 산업분야에서 서보시스템은 빠른 응답특성과 고도의 정밀성이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 특성의 요구로 인하여 산업용 서보전동기 구동시스템에 고정자 혹은 회전자 자속벡터의 순시위치와 고정자 전류를 검출하여 좌표변환에 의해 고정자 전류를 여자성분과 토크성분으로 분리 제어하는 벡터제어 이론이 많이 적용되고 있다. 벡터제어에서는 좌표변환과 SVPWM 발생을 위해 많은 연산을 요구하므로 디지털 제어시스템에서 DSP에 많은 부담을 주고 있다. 그러나 직접토크제어(DTC) 알고리즘은 디지털 제어 구조로 토크와 고정자 자속 성분의 전류제어에 룩업 테이블을 사용하므로 벡터제어처럼 많은 제어기와 복잡한 연산을 필요로 하지 않고, 동적 응답특성이 전동기의 정수변화에 영향이 적으면서 직접 전동기의 토크와 고정자 자속을 독립적으로 제어할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 표면 부착형 영구자석 동기전동기(SPMSM)를 사용하여 DTC에 의한 서보 전동기 제어와 벡터제어에 의한 서보 제어시스템 결과를 비교하여 직접토크제어 알고리즘의 산업용 서보 시스템으로의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

해안매립지반의 도시철도 시공에 따른 구조물 침하 특성 분석 (Characteristics of Structure Settlement due to Urban Railway Construction on Reclaimed Land)

  • 본 연구의 대상 현장은 굴착심도가 약 20m 내외로 사업 전구간을 개착공법으로 계획하였고, 흙막이 가시설공법은 굴착심도까지 쉬트파일과 버팀보 공법을 적용하여 도시철도 하부기초에서 계측된 침하 자료를 사용, 시공 중 대상 현장에서 발생된 지반공학적 문제점을 분석하였다. 쉬트파일 인발에 따른 영향을 알아보기 위하여 제 1구간과 제 2구간에 간극수압계와 지하수위계를 설치하여 연속적인 쉬트파일 인발에 따른 간극수압 및 지하수위의 변화와 하부지반 침하를 평가하였다. 또한, 구조물 하부기초 계측자료와 기존 문헌의 지반정수를 적용하여 계측시점에 해당하는 침하량을 수치해석 프로그램인 CAIN RDA 프로그램을 통하여 비교 분석하였으며 추가하중을 고려하여 장기침하를 산정하였다. 해석 결과, 6개 구간에서 5.94~12.77cm의 침하가 발생되어 제 2구간에서의 침하량이 12.77cm로 허용 침하량 10.0cm보다 크게 나타났다.

Trichophyton tonsurans의 진균학적 소견 (Mycological Findings of Trichophyton tonsurans Isolated in New Orleans Area)

  • 저자는 우리나라에서 아직 보고되어 있지 않지만 앞으로 유입될 가능성이 있는 T. tonsurans에 대하여 경험을 넓히고자 미국에서 환자에서 분리한 T. tonsurans에 대상으로 여러가지 진균학적 검사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 육안적으로 표면은 편평하고 무두질한 양가죽 양상으로 미세한 과립이 얇게 덮혀있고 연한 회색 또는 연한 황색을 나타내었으며 중앙에는 굴곡이 있고 뒷면은 마호가니 갈색을 나타내었다. urease test에서 균주에 따라 다양한 색깔을 나타내었다. 2. 현미경 소견에서 격벽이 있는 균사를 비롯하여 대분생자, 소분생자, spiral hyphae, 후막포자가 발견되었으며 소분생자의 배열과 모양이 특징적으로 균사를 중심으로 양옆으로 배열되어 길고 그 끝이 성냥 끝처럼 부풀어 있었다. 3. 모발천공검사에서 19주중 16주에서 양성소견을 보였다.

도시지역 유인관측소 일조 관측환경 평가 모델 개발 (Development of Observational Environment Evaluation Model for Sunshine Duration at ASOSs Located in Urban Areas)

  • In this study, the numerical model was developed to evaluate the observational environment of sunshine duration and, for evaluating the accuracy and utility of the model, it was verified against the observational data measured at Dae-gu Automated Synoptic Observing System (ASOS) located in an urban area. Three-dimensional topography and building configuration as the surface input data of the model were constructed using a Geographic Information System (GIS) data. First, the accuracy of the computing planetary positions suggested by Paul Schlyter was verified against the data provided by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) and the results showed that the numerical model predicted the Sun's position (the solar azimuth and altitude angles) quite precisely. Then, this model was applied to reproduce the sunshine duration at the Dae-gu ASOS. The observed and calculated sunshine durations were similar to each other. However, the observed and calculated sunrise (sunset) times were delayed (curtailed), compared to those provided by KASI that considered just the ASOS's position information such as latitude, longitude, and elevation height but did not consider the building and topography information. Further investigation showed that this was caused by not only the topographic characteristic (higher in the east and lower in the west) but also the buildings located in the southeast near the sunrise and the southwest near the sunset. It was found that higher building resolution increased the accuracy of the model. It was concluded that, for the accurate evaluation of the sunshine duration, detailed building and topography information around the observing sites was required and the numerical model developed in this study was successful to predict and/or the sunshine duration of the ASOS located in an urban area.

제주도 고산에서의 미량기체 농도변화와 공기괴 특성과의 관계 (Variations of Trace Gases Concentrations and Their Relationship with the Air Mass Characteristic at Gosan, Korea)

  • The surface $O_3,\;CO,\;NO_x,\;and\;SO_2$ were measured at Gosan in Jeju Island from May 2004 to April 2005. Over this period, the mean concentrations $({\pm}s.d.)$ of each gas was 40.06 $({\pm}16.01)$ ppbv for $O_3,\;264.92({\pm}115.73)ppbv\;for\;CO,\;1.98({\pm}2.73)ppbv\;for\;SO)_2,\;and\;4.64 ({\pm}3.24) ppbv\;for\;NO_x$. The monthly variations and the diurnal variations of these gases show that the Gosan site is situated in a relatively clean region. However, there were episodic simultaneous peaks in CO and $SO_2$, especially in winter and early spring. Using cluster analysis with air mass back- ward trajectory analysis, we suggest that these episodes are due to the influence of transportation of polluted air mass from polluted regions. In the cluster, which was under the dominant influence of clean maritime air mass, low levels of $O_3,\;CO,\;and\;SO_2$ were observed. The levels of these species were elevated in the other two clusters which had the air mass influenced by polluted continental regions. In addition, ratios of the chemical species such as $CO/NO_x,\;SO_2/NO_x,\;and\;CO/SO_2$ revealed the somewhat different characteristics of emission sources influencing each cluster. The differences in concentration of trace gases among clusters with different origin and transport pathways imply that Gosan is under the effect of pollution transported from other regions.

실리콘 웨이퍼 연마에서의 Break-in 모니터링 (Monitoring of Break-in time in Si wafer polishing)

  • Rapid progress in IC fabrication technology has strong demand in polishing of silicon wafer to meet the tight specification of nanotopography and surface roughness. One of the important issues in Si CMP is the stabilization of polishing pad. If a polishing pad is not stabilized before main Si wafer polishing process, good polishing result can not be expected. Therefore, new pad must be subjected into break-in process using dummy wafers for a certain period of time to enhance its performance. After the break-in process, the main Si wafer polishing process must be performed. In this study, the characteristics of break-in process were investigated in Si wafer polishing. Viscoelastic behavior, temperature variation of pad and friction were measured to evaluate the break-in phenomenon. Also, it is found that the characteristic of the break-in seems to be related to viscoelastic behavior of pad.
