nano-ATH 첨가를 통한 엔지니어링 플라스틱의 표면개질 (Surface Reforming of Engineering Plastic for adding nano-ATH)

  • Surface contamination and leakage current have caused operating problems. A flashover in a substation may result in destruction of an insulator or many others electrical equipment. Engineering plastics have good characteristic (light weight, good productivity and little of void) as compare with epoxy or porcelain insulators. Outdoor insulator must have resistance to contamination. However, they are not suited to outdoor insulator by reason of being not good hydrophobic. RTV has a good property of hydrophobic and ATH has characteristic obstructing exothermic reaction. In order to reduce the incidence of insulator flashover and damage, the silicon rubber contained nano size ATH coat on surface of engineering plastics. In this paper, it compares resistance tracking of the engineering plastic coated RTV with that of non-coated engineering plastic and ATH filled composites performed much better than non-filled composites.

  • 비균일 자장이 도가니에 인가되어 있는 상황에서 정상상태의 Czochralski 유동장과 비정상상태의 산소농도장에 대한 연구가 수치해석적인 방법으로 연구되었다. 여기에서 기준 자장의 세기가 B=0.1T, 0.2T, 0.3T의 경우에 대한 연구가 수행되었다. 가열에 의한 부력의 효과와 자유표면의 표면장력에 의한 열모세관 효과에 의하여 유발되는 자오면 유동은 비균일 자장에 의하여 차등적으로 억제되고 있다. 자자의 세기가 증가하면 자오면 유동에서 발생하는 순환류의 중심은 결정으로 접근하며, 순환류의 크기도 작아진다. 결정으로 흡수되는 산소의 세기가 클수록 낮아지며 농도분포는 균일해지는 경향을 갖는다.

  • 본 연구에서는 초음파원자현미경을 이용하여 비파괴적인 표면탄성이미지 분석과 나노표면에서의 기계적 물성 평가를 연구하였다. 이를 위해 접촉역학 특성에 따른 캔틸레버의 공진주파수 변화를 이론적으로 해석하고 실험적으로 측정하였다. 스프링-질량 모델과 Herzian 이론을 이용하여 계산한 이론적인 접촉공천주파수는 초음파원자현미경 캔틸레버의 실험적인 접촉 공진주파수의 변화와 매우 유사하였다. 결과적으로, 초음파원자현미경의 표면 높이 이미지와 진폭이미지를 성공적으로 얻을 수 있었고 진폭신호를 통하여 시료표면에서의 탄성특성을 정성적으로 평가하였다.

보일러 급수 펌프용 미케니컬 페이스 실의 정특성 해석 (Static Characteristic Analysis of Mechanical Face Seal Used for Boiler Feedwater Pump)

  • Mechanical face seal installed in boiler feedwater pump prevents leakage of working fluid using thin fluid film between stator and rotor. If the leakage of working fluid exceeds the allowable volume, serious malfunction of boiler feedwater pump will be happen. The thinner fluid film exists between stator and rotor, the less working fluid leaks out. However, if the thickness of fluid film is not enough, the wear of seal face will be increased. And it causes the decrease in life of mechanical face seal. Therefore appropriate design is necessary to maximize the performance and life of mechanical face seal. In this study, numerical analysis using finite volume method was conducted to investigate the static characteristics of wavy mechanical face seals which have 4 different wavy surface profiles on rotor. As a result, opening force, leakage volume of working fluid and friction torque were obtained. For the same minimum film thickness, the static characteristics of mechanical face seal were affected by the wavy surface profile which can change the thickness of working fluid film and pressure distribution.

화염에 의한 ACSR 송전선의 표면 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Surface Characteristics of ACSR Transmission Line due to a Flame)

  • 본 논문은 산불 화염에 의한 ACSR 송전선의 열화특성을 분석하기 위하여 인공화염장치를 이용하여 건전 전선을 일정 시간 간격으로 화염을 가하는 실험을 하였다. 이 때 발생되어지는 표면 특성을 확인하였다. 표면 특성 실험은 금속현미경으로 표면 특성을 확인하였다. 또한, 포항지역에 가설되어 운전 중이던 ACSR 480[$\textrm{mm}^2$]가 산불 열화로 인하여 철거된 전선을 수거하여 표면 특성 시험 및 분석 결과와 인공화염장치를 이용한 실험 결과를 비교$.$분석하였다. 이 두 개의 분석자료를 이용하여 향후 산불에 의해 열화된 전선의 상태를 예측할 수 있는 데이터베이스를 만들고, 또한 산불로 인한 ACSR 전선의 수명 진단에 필요한 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

수정진동자를 이용한 박막의 흡착 측정 (Adsorption Measurement of Thin Film Using a Quartz Crystal Resonator)

  • 박막의 흡착특성인 흡착표면적과 세공크기를 수정진동자를 이용하여 측정하는 새로운 방법을 제안하였으며 그 성능을 조사하였다. 수정진동자의 표면에 박막을 직접 제조하여 흡착능을 측정함으로써 박막상태에서 흡착능을 측정하였으며, 이산화탄소를 피흡착 기체로 사용하여 측정이 용이하도록 하였다. 흡착측정 결과로부터 흡착면적은 양호하게 측정이 가능함을 알 수 있었으나, 세공크기의 측정에는 다소 오차가 발생하였다. 간단히 구할 수 있는 이산화탄소를 이용하여 상온에서 박막상태 흡착제의 흡착능 측정이 가능함을 제시하였다.

  • Engineering plastics have excellent electrical properties, mechanical strength and various characteristic which include chemical resistance, environmental resistance, weatherability at a wide temperature range. It has good characteristic(light weight, good productivity) as compare with epoxy or porcelain insulators. However, engineering plastics not suited to outdoor insulator because it isn't hydrophobic. Therefore, to over come these critical problems, we improve the surface insulation characteristics of engineering plastic by coating micro-, nano- size inorganic fillers added to RTV-SIR(Room temperature vulcanized-silicone rubber) at this plastic surface. The effect is analyzed through salt-fog test, tracking test. In conclusion, the engineering plastic coated RTV with micro-$Al_2O_3$20[phr], nano-Al(OH)3 1 ~ 3[phr] improved much better than the others.

도시 지표면 온도분포 특성 및 열섬완화방안 (A Study on the Distribution Characteristic of Urban Surface Temperature and Urban Heat Island Effects)

  • The purpose of this research was to three-criteria landuse-pattern, developing density, NDVI which were related to the heat island and find the distribution characteristic of urban surface temperature and urban heat island effects. The results of this study were as follows. According to the analysis of surface temperatures, the first grade was the outside-city like a mountain and its temperature was less than $12.18^{\circ}C$. The fifth grade was the downtown industrial area and its temperature was more than $23.54^{\circ}C$. It means Daegu-Metropolitan-City has the serious heat-island effect. the results of landuse pattern analysis, in case of fifth and forth grade, city area was occupied over 90% with residential, commercial and industrial areas, but in case of third grade, openspace was occupied over 70%. The results of developing density analysis, the temperature had high correlation with building ratio, road ratio, vegetation ratio and etc. To plan for the decrease of heat island effect needed the extension of green space, decrease of paving, but there was a limit to get the objective method for grade classification because of lacking in the basic data, the research of criteria will be accomplished continuously.

사각 단면을 갖는 철도차량 주위의 3차원 유동해석 (Three-Dimensional Flow Analysis around Rolling Stock with Square Cross Section Using Low Re ${\kappa}-{\epsilon}$)

  • Three-dimensional numerical study is performed for the flow analysis around the rolling stock with square cross section (Mugungwha train model). The height (H) of rolling stock is considered as the characteristic length and the total length of rolling stock is 40 which correspond to 1/2 unit of rolling stock. The gap between the surface and rolling stock is 0.17H which is average value. The relative velocity between the surface and rolling stock is assumed to be zero and Re=10,000 based on the characteristic length. Low Re ${\kappa}-{\epsilon}$[15] is employed for the calculation of turbulence which resolve all the way to the solid surface (laminar sub-layer). Large flow separation occurred at the front head of train and a pair of vortex is generated on both top and side of rolling stock. The behavior of vortices on the top of the rolling stock is believed to affect the performance of the pantograph which should be intensively investigated. The difference between the high pressure in the front stagnation region of train and the low pressure in the rear separated region causes a large pressure drag. A large pair or vortex are generated in the rear of train and the size of vortex is increased more than the size of cross section of train.

아스팔트 포장의 노면조직 특성 분석 (Analysis of Texture Characteristics of Asphalt Pavements)

  • PURPOSES : Pavement textures can be categorized into four according to wavelength: microtexture, macrotexture, megatexture (roads), and roughness. Pavement surface texture influences a number of aspects of tire-pavement interaction such as wet-weather friction, tire-pavement noise, splash, spray, tire-wear, and rolling resistance. In particular, macrotexture is the pavement surface characteristic that considerably impacts tire-pavement noise. In general, it can be demonstrated that tire-pavement noise increases with the increase of texture depth and wavelength. Recently, mean profile depth (MPD) and wavelength have been used to evaluate tire-pavement noise. This study aimed to identify the relationship between mean profile depth and average wavelength for asphalt pavement based on the information obtained on a number of asphalt pavement sections. METHODS : Profile data were collected from a number of expressway sections in Korea. In addition, mean profile depth and average wavelength were calculated by using this profile data. Statistical analysis was performed to determine the correlationship between mean profile depth and average wavelength. RESULTS:This study demonstrates a linear relationship between mean profile depth and average wavelength for asphalt concrete pavement. CONCLUSIONS :The strong relationship between mean profile depth and average wavelength of asphalt pavement was determined in this study.
