  • It is important to determine supporting locations for structural stability when a structure is loaded with non-uniform load or supporting locations as well as the number of the supporting structures are restricted by the problem of space. Moreover, the supporting location optimization of complex structure in real world is frequently faced with discontinuous design space. Therefore, the traditional optimization methods based on derivative are not suitable Whereas, Genetic Algorithm (CA) based on stochastic search technique is a very robust and general method. The KSTAR in-vessel control coil installed in vacuum vessel is loaded with non- uniform electro-magnetic load and supporting locations are restricted by the problem of space. This paper shows the supporting location optimization for structural stability of the in-vessel control coil. Optimization has been performed by means of a developed program. It consists of a Finite Element Analysis interfaced with a Genetic Algorithm. In addition, this paper presents an algorithm to find an optimum solution in discontinuous space using continuous design variables.

  • With the improvement of current medicine, the number of the chronicly ill children are increasing. The illness of the child drives all of the family to despair. especially it is a burden on the mother who takes care of the ill child. She's faced with many emergencies and feels powerless. The home care for a child is for finding a child's problems early and mediating them. The purpose of this study was to investigate the mother's reaction following their chronicly ill child's discharge and to investigate the supporting needs for caring for an ill child. The subjects of this study were mothers with a chronicly ill child being discharged from a general hospital in Seoul and the data was collected from July 20 to September 30. Data was collected by using questionnaires which were developed by the researcher. (The questionnaires were composed of the average 5 points - Likert's method). The Mother's reaction means that the higher the score, the more negative the mother's thoughts about discharge are. Supporting need for caring for ill an child means that the higher the score, the higher the demand of nursing is. The statistical analysis used the SPSS program for t-test. ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The mother's reaction scores following discharge were the lowest. 19 and the highest 72 so that the total average was 43.15. The answer, 'I worry that my baby will be troubled with illness again after discharge gained the high points (3.94 of 5 points). The answer. 'The discharge of my baby makes me gloomy' gained 2.05-it was the lowest points. Their were significant differences according to religion (p=.006). salary (p=.050). the burden of the medical fee (p = .005) and caregiver (p=.027). 2. Supporting Need for caring for ill an child was the lowest 15 and the highest 67. the total average was 47.87. The answer. 'I'd be glad to get a person whom I could always get counsel about the health of my baby with' scored the high point (average 4.04 of 5). The answer. 'Caring for my baby at home makes me exhausted' gained the lowest point. 2.49. Their were significant differences according to religion (p=.019) and diagnosis (p=.019). 3. The relationship between the reaction of the mother and supporting need for caring for an ill child was a positive correlation (r=0.585). In conclusion. this study revealed that mothers weren't positive about their chronicly ill child's discharge and they wanted to get support for caring for an ill child. Through this study. I proposed that the program to support the chronicly ill child at home and home care by continuous counselling after discharge should be develop.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of two different oblique mechanical loading to occlusal surfaces of cement retained implant on the stress distributions in surrounding bone, using 3-dimensional finite element method. Methods: A 3-dimensional finite element model of a cement retained implant composed of three unit implants, simplified ceramic crown and supporting bone was developed according to the design of ement retained implant for this study. two kinds of surface distributed oblique loads(100 N) are applied to following occlusal surfaces in the single crowns; 1) oblique load on 2 occlusal points(50N for each buccal cusp, 2 buccal cusps exist), 2) oblique load on 4 occlusal points(25N for each buccal and lingual cusp, 2 buccal and 2 lingual cusps exist) Results: The results of the comparison of the stress distributions on surrounding bone are as follows. In the condition of oblique load on 2 occlusal points, VMS was 741.3 Mpa in the M1(Ø$4.0{\times}13mm$) model and 251.2 Mpa in the M2(Ø$5.0{\times}13mm$) model. It means the stress on the supporting bone is decreased. The results of oblique load on 4 occlusal points are similar to this one. Conclusion: Increasing the diameter of the implant fixture is helpful to distribute the stress on the supporting bone. Also, to obtain the structural stability of the supporting bone, it is effective to distribute the load evenly on the occlusal surface of crown in producing single crown implant.

  • This study was conducted to understand the relationship between elementary students' beliefs supporting aggression, aggression and self-esteem. In addition, we aimed to provide basic data for controlling the aggression of children and developing effective coping strategies. This study population consisted of 184 elementary school students. Data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 program. As a result, the aggression of elementary school students showed a significant positive correlation with beliefs supporting aggression(r=.39, p<.001) and a significant negative correlation with self-esteem(r=-.46, p<.001). In addition, Results of the hierarchical regression analysis revealed that self-esteem has the mediating effect on the relationship between beliefs supporting aggression and aggression(${\beta}=.26$, p<.001). In other words, the higher the beliefs supporting aggression, the higher the aggression, and self-esteem means to act as a mediating effect in the relationship between them. Therefore, when arranging an intervention plan to control the aggression of elementary school students, it is necessary to find strategies to control the beliefs spporting aggression and increase self-esteem.

  • In this paper, we introduce an advanced architecture of K-Means clustering-based polynomial Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (p-RBFNNs) designed with the aid of SSOA (Space Search Optimization Algorithm) and develop a comprehensive design methodology supporting their construction. In order to design the optimized p-RBFNNs, a center value of each receptive field is determined by running the K-Means clustering algorithm and then the center value and the width of the corresponding receptive field are optimized through SSOA. The connections (weights) of the proposed p-RBFNNs are of functional character and are realized by considering three types of polynomials. In addition, a WLSE (Weighted Least Square Estimation) is used to estimate the coefficients of polynomials (serving as functional connections of the network) of each node from output node. Therefore, a local learning capability and an interpretability of the proposed model are improved. The proposed model is illustrated with the use of nonlinear function, NOx called Machine Learning dataset. A comparative analysis reveals that the proposed model exhibits higher accuracy and superb predictive capability in comparison to some previous models available in the literature.
