An offshore plant is an offshore platform that can process oil and gas resources in rough seas with a poor working environment. Moreover, it is a complex structure with different types of offshore facilities and a large amount of outfitting that connects different offshore installations. In particular, an enormous amount of various piping materials is installed in a relatively narrow space, and thus, the difficulty of working is relatively high compared to working in ships or ground plants. Generally, when the 3D detailed design is completed, an offshore plant piping process is carried out at the shipyard with ISO 2D fabrication drawings and ISO 2D installation drawings. If a worker wants to understand the three-dimensional piping composition in the working area, he can only use three-dimensional viewers that provide limited functionality. As offshore plant construction progresses, correlating work with predecessors becomes more complicated and rework occurs because of frequent design changes. This viewer function makes it difficult to identify the 3D piping structure of the urgently needed part. This study deals with the process support method based on a system using a 3D simulator to improve the efficiency of the piping process. The 3D simulator is based on the Unity3D engine and can be simulated by considering the classification and priority of 3D models by the piping process in the system. Further, it makes it possible to visualize progress information of the process. In addition, the punch content can be displayed on the 3D model after the pipe inspection. Finally, in supporting the data in relation to the piping process, it is considered that 3D-simulator-supported piping installing could improve the work efficiency by more than 99% compared to the existing method.

VANET(Vehicular Ad-hoc Network), standardization of IEEE 802.11p specification is in process. 802.11 MAC protocol grants all nodes equal opportunity to acquire channel without regard to their bit-rates, making it possible for lower bit-rate nodes to occupy communication channel for a fair amount of time thus keeping the higher bit-rate nodes from acquiring connection channel which downward-equalize the overall network performance. Also with the 802.11p MAC protocol, the probability of collision occurring increases as the number of nodes grow. The proposed algorithm is a new MAC protocol that guarantees nodes with acquired channel a firm priority over other nodes for a fixed amount of time with TXOP concept added to 'packet burst' according to the current transmitting speed. This newly designed algorithm allows the construction of wireless network with enhanced network throughput, decreased probability of collisions as well as providing the means to grant each node a fair chance of acquiring connection according to their channel conditions. The algorithm sets the CW's (Contention Window) width wider than the standard's and modulates the continuous transmitting threshold value depending on channel acquired time, thus improving the overall performance of the network.
In this study, we proposed a method to be standing customers as the supporting system for the improvement of fashion garment industry which was the marginal growth getting into full maturity of market. As for the customer creation method of Fashion garment company is developing a marketing program to be standing customer as customer scoring to estimate a existing customer‘s buying power, and figure out minimum fixed sales of company to use a future purchasing predict. This study was a result of data from total sixty thousands data to be created for the 11 months from september. 2000 to July. 2001. The data is part of which the company leading the Korean fashion garment industry has a lot of a customer purchasing history data. But this study used only 48,845 refined purchased data to discriminate from sixty thousands data and 21,496 customer case with the exception of overlapping purchased data among of those. The software used to handle sixty thousands data was SAS e-miner. As the analysis process is put in to operation the analysis of the purchasing customer’s profile firstly, and the second come into basket analysis to consider the buying associations for Association goods, the third estimate the customer grade of Customer loyalty by 3 ways of logit regression analysis, decision tree, Artificial Neural Network. The result suggested a method to be estimate the customer loyalty as 3 independent variables, 2 coefficients. The 3 independent variables are total purchasing amount, purchasing items per one purchase, payment amount by one purchasing item. The 2 coefficients are royal and normal for customer segmentation. The result was that this model use a logit regression analysis was valid as the method to be estimate the customer loyalty.
We examined the determination of trace amount of germanium in rocks and sediments by hydride vapor generation-ICP-AES. Germanium is formed volatile compounds with various types of acid reagents, but volatilizing of germanium was decreased in the presence of $H_3PO_4$. Sediments and rocks can be dissolved by mixed acids of $HF-HNO_3-H_3PO_4$ without volatilizing loss of germanium in open digestion system and it was possible to determine germanium by hydride generation-ICP-AES without further sample treatment. Detection limit of Ge is reached to 0.08 ppb under the condition of 5M $H_3PO_4$ and 1% $NaBH_4$ as a supporting acid and a reducing reagent, respectively. The measured values by hydride generation-ICP-AES agreed well with the reference values of SRMs as well as the values determined by solution nebulization-ICP-MS.

A RGD (Arg-Gly-Asp) conjugated chitosan hydrogel was used as a cell-supporting scaffold for articular cartilage regeneration. Thermosensitive chitosan-Pluronic (CP) has potential biomedical applications on account of its biocompatibility and injectability. A RGD-conjugated CP (RGD-CP) copolymer was prepared by coupling the carboxyl group in the peptide with the residual amine group in the CP copolymer. The chemical structure of RGD-CP was characterized by $^1H$ NMR and FT IR. The concentration of conjugated RGD was quantified by amino acid analysis (AAA) and rheology of the RGD-CP hydrogel was investigated. The amount of bound RGD was $0.135{\mu}g$ per 1 mg of CP copolymer. The viscoelastic parameters of RGD-CP hydrogel showed thermo-sensitivity and suitable mechanical strength at body temperature for cell scaffolds (a> 100 kPa storage modulus). The viability of the bovine chondrocyte and the amount of synthesized glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) on the RGD-CP hydrogels were evaluated together with the alginate hydrogels as a control over a 14 day period. Both results showed that the RGD-CP hydrogel was superior to the alginate hydrogel. These results show that conjugating RGD to CP hydro gels improves cell viability and proliferation, including extra cellular matrix (ECM) expression. Therefore, RGD conjugated CP hydrogels are quite suitable for a chondrocyte culture and have potential applications to the tissue engineering of articular cartilage tissue.
Recently, a safety control platform to monitor the safety of train operation in real time and prevent accidents and risks through control is under study. In the initial design, DDS communication method supporting distributed network is adopted for real-time processing of large amount of data according to the integration of existing distributed safety data. However, communication between server and console inside the safety control platform is applied to existing TCP socket communication. In the case of TCP socket communication, it is possible to process data for a small system of a safety control test bed by one-to-one communication. However, if the data is expanded all over the country in the future, it becomes difficult to cope with a case where communication traffic occurs due to vast amount of data. In this paper, we propose DDS communication method to support distributed network between server and console of security control platform, and demonstrate TCP socket and DDS method, and compare throughput and speed. As a result, we have found that the scalability and flexibility are improved in case of applying DDS communication to future systems.
This paper examines two different reunification regimes and investigates the decision making problems on tax and income transfers in a political economy model. The first reunification regime is the South-Driven regime under which the majority of South Korea choose the tax rate, the amount of transfers and the size of migration. The second is the North-Participation regime under which there is no limit on migration and the majority of Unified Korea choose the tax rate and the amount of transfers. In both regimes, Northern residents' migration decisions are endogenous and those who decide not to migrate to the Southern region have an alternative to declare fiscal independence of income redistribution taking place within the North independently. This paper shows that there is no income redistribution in a politico-economic equilibrium under the South-Driven regime. Given that, those remaining in the Northern region decide to declare fiscal independence. On the other hand, the North-Participation regime delivers an equilibrium supporting income redistribution and no fiscal independence.

The co-precipitation process plays a key role in the decontamination of radionuclides from low and intermediate levels of liquid waste. For that reason, the removal of Cs ions from waste solution by the co-precipitation method was carried out. A simulated liquid waste (133Cs) was prepared from a 0.1 M CsCl solution, while wastewater generated by washing steel ash served as a representative of radioactive cesium solution (137Cs). By co-precipitation, potassium ferrocyanide was applied for the adsorption of Cs ions, while nickel nitrate and iron sulfate were selected for supporting the precipitation. The amount of residual Cs ions in the CsCl solution after precipitation and filtration was determined by ICP-OES, while the radioactivity of 137Cs was measured using a gamma-ray spectrometer. After cesium removal, the amount of cesium appearing in both XRD and SEM-EDS was analyzed. The removal efficiency of 133Cs was 60.21% and 51.86% for nickel nitrate and iron sulfate, respectively. For the ash-washing solution, the removal efficiency of 137Cs was revealed to be more than 99.91% by both chemical agents. This implied that the co-precipitation process is an excellent strategy for the effective removal of radioactive cesium in waste solution treatment.
This paper is to review the Uniform Rules for Bank Payment Obligations(URBPO 750E) which were developed by the Banking Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce and to present the implications. The rules were unanimously adopted during Lisbon meeting of the ICC Banking Commission on April 17th, 2013 and taken effect as of July 1, 2013. A BPO is an irrevocable undertaking given by an Obligor bank to a Recipient bank to pay a specified amount under the condition of a successful electronic matching of data or acceptance of mismatches. It is an alternative instrument for trade settlement, designed to complement existing solution and not to replace them(ICC,750E). The BPO enables banks to provide sellers and buyers with advanced risk mitigations and enhanced financing services. The BPO will improve trade processing efficiency such as increased transaction times, reduced handling cost, and others. It is believed that the BPO will have an important role to play in supporting the development of Supply Chain Finance in international Trade. So, This study will review the provisions and application of the URBPO 750E based on documentary materials including swift com and icc.org and so on.
The purpose of this paper is to a develop model for generation expansion planning that can support diverse environmental policies for the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHGs) of South Korea. South Korea is required to reduce its GHG emissions by 30% from the BAU level by 2020. The Wien Automatic System Planning Package currently used in South Korea has limitations in terms of the application of renewable energy policies and GHG targets; this paper proposes the use of an equipment planning model named generation and transmission expansion program, which has been developed to resolve such limitations. For verification of the model, a case study on the 6th Basic Plan of Long-Term Electricity Supply and Demand has been conducted. The results show that for the year 2020 South Korea's annual GHG emissions will be 36.6% more than the GHG Target Management System (GHG TMS) target set for the same year (30%). To achieve the GHG TMS target, the costs involved amount to about 72 trillion KRW (70 billion USD). Consequently, the South Korean government needs to review the performability of this target.
