Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between trunk stabilization muscle activation and the parameters of gait analysis in healthy individuals. Methods: Thirty healthy adults (15 male, 15 female) with no history of lower back pain (LBP) or current musculoskeletal and neurological injuries were studied. Trunk stabilization muscle activation (e.g., external oblique, internal oblique, transverse abdominis, erector spinae) were assessed using surface electromyography. To analyze gait, we measured temporal parameters (e.g., gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase) and a spatial parameter (e.g., H-H base of support). Results: A statistically significant correlation was found between the internal oblique, transverse abdominis, and erector spinae muscle activity and gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase. No statistically significant correlation was found between the external oblique muscle activity and the gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase. No statistically significant correlation was found between the external oblique, internal oblique, transverse abdominis, and erector spinae muscle activity and the spatial parameter. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that a relationship exists between trunk stabilization muscle activation and temporal parameter (i.e., gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase) during gait analysis. Therefore, the trunk's stabilizer muscles play an important role in the gait of healthy individuals.
There are rural development policy for creating liveable rural. The support structure of the capacity phase of the Master Plan of Comprehensive Rural Village Development Project would that one. The support structure of the capacity phase has implied the assumption that the accumulated capacity of the village to the previous step will have a significant impact on the business to the next level. Rural development should be understood that simple: rather than for business applications, processes community is going to build capacity through continuous learning and practice. Its accumulated capacity should be possible to predict and then steps must be developed continuously for a long time, looking at the previous phase. Thus, according to the support structure of the capacity phase, it should be applied a causal relationship between the front and rear phase.
The purposes of this study were to determine the functions of actions of the limbs during each of the three support phases of the triple jump and their relationships with the performance of the triple jump. Four elite male triple jumpers were participated as subjects. The Pearson product moment correlation coefficient were used to determine and compare the relationships between the change in each component of the normalized angular momentum of the whole body about center of gravity and the actions of the extremities during different support phases. A level of significance at $\alpha$=.05 was set. After analyzing the angular momentum and correlation during support phase of the hop, step, and jump, the following findings are obtained: The actions of the arms created a side-somersaulting angular momentum about the whole body center of gravity toward the side of the free leg during the support phase of the step, and a somersaulting angular momentum about the whole body center of gravity during each support phase. The action of the free leg created a somersaulting angular momentum about the whole body center of gravity during the support phases of the hop and step.
This paper presents a three dimensional modeling and a trajectory generation for minimized impact walking of the biped robot. Inverse dynamic analysis and forward dynamic analysis are performed considering impact force between the foot and ground for determining the actuator capacity and for simulating the proposed biped walking robot. Double support phase walking is considered for close to human's with adding the kinematic constraints on the one of the single support phase.
The HPS(High Porosity Support, 39.3%) and the LPS( Low Porosity Support, 18.7%) were fabricated to investigate the phase transformation and the chance of microstructure with porosity of alumina support. Alumina sol was made using aluminum tri-sec $butoxide(ATSB,\; Al(O-Bu)_3)$, the membrane on porous support with different porosity and the membrane without support were fabricated. The $\theta$-to ${\alpha}-A1_2O_3$ phase transformation in the membranes was investigated using thin film X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the change of microstructure was observed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM). XRD patterns showed that the membrane on LPS and HPS had 10$0^{\circ}C$, 5$0^{\circ}C$ higher $\theta$-to ${\alpha}-A1_2O_3$ transformation temperature compared to the unsupported membrane. A similar effect was also observed in microstructure of the membranes, theoritical temperature difference were 97$^{\circ}C$ and 44$^{\circ}C$ by Crapeyron equation.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among family support, stress and quality of life according to the phases of illness in breast cancer patients. Methods: A descriptive correlational study was employed with 121 breast cancer patients. The data was collected by using self reported questionnaire. Self reported data was collected by using the Family support scale, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), and EORTC QLQ-BR23. Phases of illness consisted 1st phase, 2nd phase, 3rd phase. Results: The score of family supporting, stress and quality of life showed a statically differences according to the phase of illness. Family supporting and stress had negative relation in the first, second and third phase. Family supporting and quality of life in function area had positive relation in the first, second phase. There was no relation between family supporting and quality of life in symptom area. Stress, quality of life in symptom area and quality of life in function area had correlation in the first, third phase. Conclusion: This study suggest that the new nursing implementation should be considered according to the phase of illness in order to improve the family supporting and quality of life and reduce the stress in breast cancer patients through this study results.
The purposes of this study were to determine the functions of actions of the limbs during each of the three support phases of the triple jump and their relationships with the performance of the triple jump. Four elite male triple jumpers were participated as subjects. The statistical analyses used were the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient for establishing relationships and simple regression analyses to determine and compare the relationships between the change of the horizontal velocity and the change of the vertical velocity during different support phases. A level of significance at p<.05 was set. The actions of the arms were responsible for about 25%, 25%, and 30% of the decrease in the horizontal velocity of the whole body center of gravity during the support phases of the hop, step, and jump, respectively. The change in the velocities of the whole body center of gravity due to the actions of the free limbs were significantly related with the whole body center of gravity during each support phase. The action of the support leg was associated with the decrease in the horizontal velocity and the increase in the vertical velocity of the whole body center of gravity during each support phase.
Unfunctionalized biaryl compounds were parallelly and combinatorially prepared by the traceless hydrogenolysis of biarylsulfonates supported on pentaerythritol. The hydrogenolysis using 2-propylmagnesium chloride in the presence of $dppfNiCl_2$ efficiently generated corresponding biaryl derivatives without any memory of the support. The strategy using pentaerythritol as a small soluble support was disclosed to have a potential to combine the benefits of both SPOS and solution-phase reaction with fast reaction rate, facile isolation of intermediates, easy analysis of intermediates and atom economical manner. The novel tetrapodal support is expected to be an efficient substitute for polymeric supports in many circumstances.
Purpose:To investigate of gait component in Parkinson's Disease patient. Methods:participated Parkinson's Disease patient(n=12) and Normal adult(n=13). gait measure used by GaitRite. Results:SPSS for win version 12 was used for statistic analysis and independent t-test used to find between two groups. In the comparison of temporal parameter of gait between groups, the swing phase was significant decreased in Parkinson's groups, in the stance phase was significant increased in Normal groups, in the single support was significant decreased in Parkinson's groups and in the double support was significant increased in Parkinson's groups(p<.05). In the asymmetrical ratio of singele support was significant increased in Parkinson's groups(p<.05), and the swing phase and stance phase was significant increased in Parkinson's groups(p<.05). Conclusion:In the Parkinson's Disease patient gait showed temporal and spatial component variable changes comparison normal adult. therefore, it was seems to very important considerable at gait tranning in clinical intervention.
