Magnetic Field annealing apparatus for Clamped Amorphous Transformer Core (주상 변압기용 비정질 코어의 자장인가 코일 제작)

  • In amorphous transformer core, magnetic field annealing is required for inducing uniaxial magnetic anisotropy to circular direction of the core. Generally annealing temperature is about foot, so insulator using in solenoid bed must have a high temperature stability, mechanical strength and good machinability. In this study, we made the magnetic field annealing apparatus using insulators, conductors, connectors and power supply. And then tested the apparatus in annealing process of 50 kVA amorphous transformers.

  • Inverter type X-ray apparatus has been introduced and used several hospitals. Principle of inverter type X-ray generators are such as to convert the frequency of commercial power supply to high frequency and to control the high voltages for X-ray tube. Inverter generators are now on the way for futher development to elliminate single phase generators and three phase generators. We compared inverter type X-ray apparatus with conventional single phase 2 peak and three phase 12 peak, apparatus in the following aspects X-ray out put to tube voltage, linearity of X-ray out put to mA, HVL according to mA contrast to kV.

  • The usefulness of unsteady combustion was experimentally investigated using confined premixed flames stabilized by a rearward-facing step. For this purpose, apparatus of forced pulsating mixture supply, which could be modulated its amplitude and frequency, was designed. The unsteady combustion used in this experiment plays an important role in controlling self-excited combustion oscillations and furthermore it exhibits desirable performance, from a practical point of view, such as high combustion and reduction of pollutant emission like nitric oxide.

  • A fundamental study on the cooling apparatus inshore fishing boat and its operation characteristics in sea water cooling system were performed experimentally. The circumstance is giving the blow against fisherman with incoming-decreasing and the difficulty of crew's supply and demand and management. In addition, the depression of the external situation such as the plan of EEZ(Exclusive Economic Zone) proclaim is forcing them into improving their fishing condition. By this international and domestic surrounding, the development of a cooling apparatus inshore fishing boat is demanded sincerely. We investigated load characteristics as the pilot plant operation characteristics estimation which is based on the development of cooling system and optimum cooling apparatus inshore fishing boat. These results provide useful informations which are applicable to an actual design and show the possibility of application to other fields.

  • This paper presents a 37.5kVA (125kVp, 300mA) high frequency inverter type power supply for diagonostic X-ray generator with two HFHV (high-frequency high-voltage) isolating transformers. The output regulations, X-ray tuve voltage and tube current, are obtained by two high frequency inverters with the each other feedback PI controller and operating time switch for selecting shooting time and synchronizing two inverters. The operating modes and design consideration of the proposed power supply are given. Issues in the design of two HFHV isolating transformersfors high volage genrating and filament heating are discussed. Experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the designed power supply for varying load conditions. The proposed apparatus has several advnatages, e.g., the fast rising time of tube voltae, accuracy and reduced component size etc.

  • Recently, Improving the energy efficiency of a pneumatic system and reducing the consumption of compressed air were a concern of scholars at domestic and abroad. The using fields of a pneumatic system are widely used in factory automation of manufacturing line, chemical factories with explosiveness danger and petroleum industries etc. In particular, Pneumatic cylinder is applied to feeding work of workpiece, jig tools and press mechanism, reciprocation and rotary motion with rack and pinion. In this study, The experimental apparatus consisted to pneumatic cylinder, dual supply pressure regulator and solenoid valve. The dual supply pressure regulator connected to outlet port of solenoid valve. The supply pressure (4.5kgf/cm$\^$2/) of compressed air goes into the rodless chamber 1 to drive the pistion rod forward which is named working stage. The supply pressure(2kgf/cm$\^$2/) of compressed air goes into the rod chamber 2 to drive the piston rod backward which is named no-working stage. Accordingly, The research results of this study can be obtained to Energy-Saving Effects of the compressed air about 35%.

In addition, the depression of the external situation like the departure of WTO system and the plan of EEZ proclaim is forcing fishery into improving their fishing condition. By this international and domestic circumstance, development of the sea water cooling apparatus for fish hold storage is demanded sincerely. First of all, we Investigated load characteristics which based on development of sea water cooling system and optimum fish hold storage. The experimental results is as follows. In creasing the speed of compressor and mass blew rate of refrigerant, the temperature of NaCl solution is low. And the load characteristics experiment on fish hold storage outlet is as fellows. As time goes by, increasing the mass flow rate of NaCl solution, temperature difference between inlet and outlet is small in a model of fish hold storage. These results provide many useful informations applicable to an actual design of sea water cooling system and optimum fish hold storage.

  • As the environmental pollution by the drastic increase of vehicles becomes one of the social major concerns, the method of reducing the harmful exhaust emission is being the subject of interest. Utilization of used frying oil as a raw material for biodiesel production is helpful not only for the stable supply of raw materials but also costing down the biodiesel price. This study was conducted the measurement the combustion and thermal characteristics with mixing ratio of biodiesel/diesel fuel. In this study, flash points and fire points were measured by using Tag Closed cup apparatus and Cleveland open cup apparatus. As the result, flash points, fire points and AIT increased with percentage of more contained biodiesel.
