가정내 음식물 쓰레기 감량을 위한 소비자 특성별 행위와 요인분석 (Household's main activities for decreasing food wastes)

  • This study conducted an internet survey to explore consumers' behaviors for reducing food wastes and to examine factors affecting their actions. Consumer survey demonstrates that food preparers at home purchase foods two or three times a week on average and most of food wastes are generated in the process of cooking preparation. Results show that consumers who purchase foods at supermarket reduce food wastes by frequently buying a small amount of foods and checking the expiration date. Consumers with higher income diminish food wastes by purchasing appropriate amount of foods. Interestingly, if husband and wife work together for a living, they are more active for decreasing food wastes compared to a single worker.

대전시 노인의 거주환경실태 조사연구 (A study on the Analysis of Actual Condition of Residental Environment for the Eldery Residing in Daejeon)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the actual condition of residential environment for the elderly residing in Daejeon. The data were collected through interviews and structured questionnaires. The sujects were 583 elderly people over the age of 65 in Daejeon. Sociodemographic characteristics, living characteristics, housing characteristics, neighborhood environment types, actual usage condition of neighborhood environment, relationship between sociodemographic characteristics and actual usage of neighborhood environment, actual condition of unit interior, were surveyed. The data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, χ²-test, mean using the SPSS package. The major findings were as follows. Features of unit interior which pointed generally were deterioration, soundproofing and size. Features of unit interior which need to be carefully planned were removal of height difference of entrance, removal of the thresholds, installation of emergency bell and room heating control facility. The facilities provided highly within the subject's residential environment were the eldery facility, church, hospital, bank, restaurant, beauty salon/barbershop, supermarket. and the facilities provided lowly were recreational facility, library, elderly school.

A-마트 상온 제품 종합물류센터 실시설계를 위한 시뮬레이션 (A Simulation Study for Detailed Design of A-Mart Logistics Center for General Products)

  • This paper deals with the simulation model for A-Mart logistic center design and operations. In developed simulation model, receiving docks, conveyor sorter, conveyor system, shipping docks, material handling devices and manual sorting stations are considered. Three types of cargo such as transfer center cargo, distribution center cargo and supermarket cargo are considered. The simulation model and process animation are developed using the simulation package ARENA. Among various design and operation alternatives consisting of the number of workers of receiving dock, allocation of receiving docks by cargo types, conveyor sorter velocity, the number of folk-lift, the number of manual sorting operators and overall layout, the best alternatives of each subsystem are selected by simulation analysis. The major performance measures such as sorter throughput, utilization of operators at each station, receiving docks utilization and folk-lift utilization are considered for the alternative evaluation.

Evaluation of Liquid Pressure Amplifier Technology

  • Liquid pressure amplifiers have been proposed as an energy saving technology for vapor compression refrigeration systems configured with direct-expansion evaporators. The technology utilizes a refrigerant pump in the high pressure liquid line as a means of maintaining a suitable pressure differential across the expansion valve while lowering condensing pressure to achieve the reduction of compressor energy consumption. Applications have been proposed on systems ranging from small unitary air-conditioning to large supermarket and commercial refrigeration systems. This paper clarifies the role of such a device in a vapor compression refrigeration system. Limitations are presented and discussed. Finally, results of detailed analyses are presented to quantify the energy consumption both with and without a liquid pressure amplifier in a unitary air conditioning system. The estimated energy savings associated with the installation of a liquid pressure amplifier are minimal.

유창성 실어증과 비유창성 실어증 환자의 생성 이름대기 특성 연구 (A Comparison of Generative Naming Characteristics in Fluent and Non-fluent Aphasics)

  • The characteristics of generative naming ability between fluent aphasiacs and non-fluent aphasics were investigated for 10 fluent aphasics (6 Wernicke's and 4 conduction type) and 10 non-fluent aphasics (6 Broca's and 4 transcortical motor type). Subjects were given 2 types of generative naming task and asked to generate lists of words to categorical ('animal', 'things at a supermarket') and phonetic ('ㄱ', 'ㅇ', 'ㅅ') cues. The total numbers of correct and incorrect response and error type ratios were calculated. The results of the present study were as follows: (1) Fluent aphasics had higher generative naming scores than non-fluent aphasics. (2) A remarkable dissociation between performance on categorical and phonetic cue in both aphasic groups was observed. Both aphasic groups produced a large number of responses in the categorical cue. (3) There was no significant group-difference in the error type. (4) Any correlation between generative naming and confrontation naming in K - WAB was not found.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the demand of rheumatoid arthritic patients for medical facilities. The survey using open-ended question and interview was used to serve this purpose. Data was collected from 27 inpatients and outpatients of one university hospital in Seoul. The results were as follows ; The hospital facilities they wanted were categorized as space for patients & their family members (15 items), convenient facilities(14 items), facilities for their family members & visitors (4 items) and others (2 items). They mostly needed as following order ; shower room, parking place, supermarket, no charge of TV subscription fee and rest place. Also they especially wanted sports facilities & recreation room.

  • 최근 한국과 중국의 대형마트시장의 경쟁이 치열해지면서 고객만족을 충족시키기 위해 점포속성, 제품속성, 서비스속성, 물리적 환경요인에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서 한국과 중국 대형마트 구매자의 점포선택요인을 알아보고, 점포에 대한 고객만족과 재방문의도와의 영향관계를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 연구모형을 설계하였다. 또한 점포에 대한 중국과 한국의 고객만족과 재방문의도에 영향을 미치는 관계차이에 대해서도 알아보았다. 이에 따른 개념적 이해와 기존연구의 검토를 통해 가설을 설정하고 관련성 검증을 실시하였다. 실증분석을 위한 자료의 수집은 한국내 대형마트를 이용한 한국 소비자들과 중국내 대형마트를 이용한 중국인 소비자들 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며 설정된 연구가설에 대해 구조방정식모형 분석을 통해 검증하였다.

SSM 상권내의 업종 비율 변화와 편의점 매출액 변화에 대한 연구 (A Study of Sales Changes of Convenience Stores and Ratio Changes in the Composition of Business Types within Trading Areas of SSM)

  • SSM(Super Supermarket) 출점이 사회적 논쟁이 되고 있고 출점을 저지하기 위한 다양한 규제가 마련되고 있는 중이다. 그러나 SSM 규제의 핵심이 진입제한에 있는바 경쟁 정책적 관점에서 그 타당성을 인정받기는 쉽지 않다. 그렇다면 적어도 보다 거시적 관점 즉 경쟁정책의 범위를 벗어나 사회적 정치적 목적에서 그 타당성을 인정받을 필요가 있을 것이다. 여기서 사회적 정치적 목적의 달성 여부는 '국민경제적 차원'에서 볼 때 규제 타당성이 성립할수 있는 지를 살펴보는 것을 의미한다. 본 논문은 국민경제적 차원을 지역상권의 활성화 차원으로 파악하고 SSM의 출점이 경쟁 소매업체에 대해 미치는 영향이 아닌 지역 상권에 대해 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것으로 연구 목표를 설정하였다. 아울러 본 연구는 이해당사자를 대상으로 한 설문 중심의 연구방법을 활용한 과거 연구의 약점을 일부라도 회피하고자 보다 객관적인 접근을 시도한다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 SSM 상권의 범위인 출점 반경 500m 이내에 위치한 편의점 매출액을 해당상권의 활성화 정도의 지표로 사용하고 이에 대한 업종별 점포비율의 변화, SSM의 출점 여부, 그리고 소매판매지수의 영향력을 평가하고자 한다. 이를 위해 편의점 매출액, 업종별 점포비율, 소매판매지수로 구성된 패널자료를 바탕으로 Swamy(1970)의 확률계수모델을 이용하였다. 그 결과 SSM(기업형 슈퍼마켓)의 출점 여부와 상관없이 편의점의 매출액이 증가하거나 감소하고 있기 때문에 SSM의 영향이 미비하거나 없는 것으로 나타났다. 편의점 매출액의 변화에 영향을 주는 많은 변수 중에서 소매업과 음식업의 경우 소매업 비율은 부의 관계를, 음식업 비율은 정의 관계를 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 소매업의 비율이 감소한다고 해서 상권 전체의 침체를 가져오는 것이 아니라는 주장을 지지하는 것으로 보인다.

국내 대형슈퍼의 개량확률모델에 관한 실증연구 (A Practical Study on the New Revenue Estimate Model Of SSM)

  • 소매업에 있어서 입지선정은 점포의 성패와 매우 밀접한 관계가 있는 핵심요인이기 때문에 출점 시 가장 중요하게 다루어져야 한다. 그러나 현재 대부분의 소매유통업계는 이러한 핵심적인 사항을 고려하지 않고 점포개발자들이 입지를 선정하기 위해 사용되는 상권분석 기법의 대부분은 단순통계자료와 느낌에 의존하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 점포 입지선정에 실패하는 주요 이유는 사업현장에서 종합적이고 체계적인 상권분석을 통한 점포출점이 이루어지지 못한데 있으며, 특히 슈퍼마켓 업계가 다른 소매업에 비해서 활용빈도가 현저히 낮은 편이다. 본 연구는 중대형 슈퍼마켓을 운영하는 업체가 점포 입지를 선택하기 위한 상권분석 시 활용할 수 있는 모형의 구축을 위하여 광역상권을 모델로 한 기존의 상권분석 모형을 이용하여 중소상권의 상권분석에 적용시켜 연구를 진행하고, 상권분석 연구의 결과를 이론으로 정립하고 정립된 이론을 근거로 모델 점포의 예상매출을 추정하여 실제매출과 비교검증 하였다. 쇼핑확률 산출과정을 통해 얻어진 결과로 기존의 수정허프모델를 이용한 개량확률모델의 새로운 모형구축을 위해 컨버스의 신소매인력모델을 이용하였다. 그러나 쇼핑확률을 산출하기 위해서 수정허프모델을 이용하되 기존의 방법에 반영되는 변수들을 다르게 반영함으로서 광역상권 분석기법으로 중소상권을 분석할 경우 우려되는 차이를 최소화하여 소비자가 점포를 선택하는 조건을 쇼핑확률 계산에 가중치를 반영, 객관성과 신뢰성을 높이는 연구를 실시하였다.

시판 포장가공 식품의 영양표시 현황에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on the Current Nutritin Labeling Practices for the Processed Foods Retailed in the Supermarket in Korea)

  • Our current food hygiene law mandates nutrition label (NL) for the special nutrition foods, health support foods, instant foods, and foods with certain nutrient emphasized note, only. Currently more processed foods are bearing nutrition labels though the format is quite inconsistant. This study examined the status on current nutrition labeling practices for the processed foods that are retailed in the supermarket. The obtained information was assessed in the aspects of numerical data presentation on nutrients content, descriptive terms, health claim, and the format. The results are summarized as follows. 1) Foods with NL are limited to the food category specified by current hygiene law while voluntary nutition labeling is few. 2) Descriptive terms such as free, low, and sufficient are not substantiated with quantitative data. The efficacy of microelements which has not been clalified yet are overemphasized but major nutrients are ignored. 3) The regulations for the descriptive terms are set on the base of the nutrient content per 100g or 100ml under current nutrition labeling act. It would mislead consumers thus the definition for these descriptor be better set on the unit of the amount of food customary eaten at one time. For this the standard serving size should be set officially. 4) Quantitative nutrition information given on food products is difficult to compare because of the lack in formality. The title of NL, load and kinds of nutritents, order of nutrients listed, the unit of expression, RDA comparision, and reference RDA are inconsistant among the foods similar in dietary property. Uniform format is needed to give NL the credibility and usefulness. Proividing nutrition information to the consumers with NL is a worldwide practice though its efficacy has been controversial. Under newly legistered health promotion law in Korean nutrition education is esxpected to take part in to improve national nutrition condition and NL would education is expected to take part in to improve national nutrition condition and NL would be a potent tool for public nutritions education. It appears to be the time to mandate NL to all the processed foods in the market. The result of present study would initiate further consumer experiments related to NL. Various interest groups such as food and nutrition professions, public health organizations, government regulatory agencies, food producers and marketers, and consumer groups need to particepate and communicate for the legislation of NL and the development of NL format.
