The objective of this study was to examine the suitability of genetic evaluation models using the integrated racing records collected from Gwacheon and Busan Gyeongnam racetracks. Results obtained are summarized as follows: In the short-distance races of 1,400 meters and less the records of finishing time at Gwacheon racetrack was superior, whereas, in the races of 1,800 meters and more it was superior in the records from Busan Gyeongnam racetrack. The effects of contemporary groups accounted for 42.7~70.2% of the total variation, and the effects of the individual race considering racing classes was the biggest in all racing distances. Heritabilities and repeatabilities for the finishing time were estimated in the range of 0.153-0.238 and 0.401-0.498, respectively. Correlation coefficients between the breeding values estimated from the integrated records and the breeding values estimated from records of Gwacheon and Busan-Gyeongnam were 0.907 and 0.803, and coefficients of rank correlations were 0.891 and 0.846, respectively. The correlation coefficients between sire's annual earning of the integrated records and Gwacheon and Busan Gyeongnam racetracks records were 0.943 and 0.886, and coefficients of rank correlations were 0.938 and 0.853, respectively. Also, the correlation coefficient of sire's annual earning between Gwacheon and Busan Gyeongnam racetracks was 0.742. The results of this analysis indicate that the genetic evaluation using the integrated racing records are reliable when the racing records from Busan Gyeongnam racetracks are stabilized and more data are accumulated.

To develop artificial cultivation and improve some problems such as auto-lysis on commercialization of Coprinus comatus that has been known edible and medicinal mushroom, they were conducted for selection of superior strain, suitable culture methods for mycelial growth and fruiting, and morphological characteristics of fruit body. Strain CM 980301 of Coprinus comatus was selected as a superior strain for artificial cultivation. Wheat grain and rice straw full-grown compost media were most effective for preparation of spawn and artificial cultivation of C. comatus, respectively. Spawn running of Coprinus spp. on the rice straw full-grown compost media required to be 15 days from 24 to $28^{\circ}C$. The casing layer incubation before initiation of fruit body formation, required for 13 days at same temperature for spawn running. And then require $10{\sim}11$ days for initiation and $7{\sim}8$ days for development of fruit body from 20 to $24^{\circ}C$. The fruit body of strain CM 980301 was harvested within a week from initiation of primordium formation. The hardness of pileus and stipe that were harvested in optimal stage showed 102 to 169, and 128 to $182\;g/cm^2$, respectively. Yields of srain CM 980301 from the rice straw full-grown compost media was $37.7kg/3.3m^2$. Weight of individual fruit body was 17.9 g in average.

A metabolomic study using GC/MS analysis was conducted to identify key metabolic components regulating the growth of open-pollinated Pinus koraiensis families, which were grown for 29 years at three different locations. Among 110 individual metabolites identified, the contents of 62 metabolites were higher in the superior than in the inferior families (p<0.05), together with 22 metabolites, such as phosphoric acid, alanine, glycine, malic acid, and sucrose, being accumulated 1.5-fold higher in the superior families. In addition, 15 metabolites including alanine, malic acid, sucrose, d-turanose, and succinic acid showed positive correlation with the growth (p<0.01). Furthermore, the metabolites, of which contents were correlated with the growth but not significantly changed at different locations, were acetic acid, succinic acid, butanoic acid, glutamic acid, and inositol. Therefore we suggest that several metabolites selected in this study may be used as metabolic markers for quantitative growth trait in P. koraiensis.
To develop superior cultivars for edible or medicinal purposes, we investigated morphological characteristics and total anthocynin contents for the fruit of 24 individuals from 4 populations in Korea. ANOVA analysis showed significant differences among populations and among individuals within population in all characteristics. The mean characteristics of the species were 8.2 mm, 7.8 mm, 0.4 g, 11.7 Brix., 7.7 ea and 474.4 mg/100 g in the fruit width, fruit length, fruit weight, soluble solids contents, number of fruit per punch and total anthocyanin contents, respectively. Especially, total anthocyanin contents (474.4 mg/100 g) of V. oldhamii showed 1.9 times higher than that of American blueberry (237.3 mg/100 g) using as control. Consequently, the investigation suggests that V. oldhamii fruits can be used to develop the functional cultivars with enhanced health benefits by the selection breeding. Selection effect with outstanding candidate trees including superior 3 individual trees was estimated at 129.6%, 109.5% and 140.5% in fruit weight, number of fruit per punch and total anthocyanin content, respectively.

Individual phenotype is mostly influenced by genetic factors as well as the effects of environmental factors. Therefore, adjustment of environmental factors are needed in order to see more clearly the effects of genetic factors that we are interested in gene screening study related to Hanwoo's economic trait. The purpose of this study is to propose new statistical model that was adjusted environmental factor and identify adjustment effect in a superior gene marker screening study for producing high quality Hanwoo. First, statistical model including both genetic factor and environmental factor establishes and adjusted value of economic trait find by removing effect of environmental factor such as age, breeding farm. Finally, we identify superior gene marker combination and compare accuracy by applying MDR to data of before and after adjustment. Economic trait is used C18:1, SFA, MUFA, MS, CWT, BFT and SNP marker is used 6 markers of LPL that were identified as more excellent SNP marker than the others among 49 markers through fatty acid composition and economic trait performance test.
The Vampire has relatively universal images in through the cultural and verbal usages. The comic Higajima and movie display the latest image of Japanese Vampire of asian mode of production. After the Meiji political reformation of 18th Century, Japanese had rapidly changed into European style in every places. However, the Higajima is denied the structural changes, it is insisted that the changing is only the skin deep and colour of hair but the structure of the society is same as feudal Japan. Asian mode of production is claimed by Karl Marx, according to him, it is before the historical developing model in Europe and it was controversial. The major character of modern Japanese history would be the change of hierarchy of king-shogun-samurai-peasant based on the regional ground. The feudal structure is changed by the Meiji reformation and Japan was rushed for the westernized country rather than the asian mode of production. However, Higajima argued that the changing is just the clothes of ruler but the democracy and individual citizenship was lost in that reformation. Vampire is cursed creature that cannot see the sun and it has not the functioned as a human organ. For human it is dead but this creature actively moves and stronger than human and much superior than human in every aspects. It is managed the feeding through the suck the human blood and power to seduction. Even it is not exist, it is quite symbolic phenomenon of cultural usage of superior entity of chain of feeding. The aim of this paper is display the symbolic code Vampire of Asian mode of production in Higajima and political struggling of Japan in actual. To search of the cultural meaning and possibility of the Korean solution of modernity.

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect the 'public librarian servant's' Collective Self-Esteem (CSE) in Korean relation-oriented collectivism. The research was organized into a research model by setting up a hypothesis on the impact relationship the between the group Collective self-esteem, the work environment factors and cognition of Superior institution of the Public librarian servant. The relevant data collection was conducted for public librarian servant working in public libraries nationwide through the method of survey. From April 3, 2020 to May 14, 2020, it was conducted for Public Librarian Servant in public libraries nationwide with Civil Service System, Office of Education, Ministry of Culture·Sports and Tourism based on responses for 301 Public Librarian Servant from 559 institution. According to the analysis, the cognition of the superior institution of Public Librarian Servant influences the cognition of Collective Self-Esteem among the sub-factors of Collective - Self - Esteem of Collective Self-Esteem. This study is meaningful in that 'Public Librarian Servant' who was treated as an individual entity in the study of Library and Information Science study, as being has relationship with various groups and is dealt with multi-dimensionally in Korean relation-oriented collectivism culture. Research suggests that when Public Librarian Servant exist as one of the subordinate organizations to vast Civil service system, it suggest that Public Librarian Servants should find out a balance for improve their relatively low social values.
A $2{\times}3$ factorial design was used to study the impact of rearing systems, individual (I) vs. group (G) and different levels of milk/skim milk feeding (three schedules, F1, F2 and F3) on performance of crossbred (Bos indicus ${\times}$ Bos taurus) calves. Six calves (three from each sex) were taken in each group on the basis of their birth weight. All the calves were fed colostrum for three days and thereafter, were allotted to three different milk feeding schedules (F), i.e. milk fed upto 8 weeks of age (F1), milk upto 4 weeks followed by 50% (F2) and 100% (F3) replacement of milk with skim milk in the next 4 weeks. Calf starter and cereal green fodder were fed ad libitum to all the calves beginning from second week of age. A digestibility trial was conducted at 15th week of age to assess nutrient utilization during postweaning period. The digestibilty of dry matter (DM), organic matter, total carbohydrate, ether extract and crude protein (CP) were nonsignificant between the rearing systems and the feeding schedules. There was significantly higher digestibility of NDF and ADF in G than I and in F3 than F1 and F2. The concentration CP and total digestible nutrients of the diet ranged from 17.18 to 17.75% and 66.32 to 70.14%, respectively. The DM intake (kg/100 kg body weight) ranged from 1.74 to 2.14 kg during 0 to 8 weeks and 3.19 to 3.41 kg during 0 to 14 weeks of age. The effects during postweaning phase (9-14 weeks of age) showed increased performance in group housed calves compared to individually housed ones with a superior average daily gain (590 vs. 443 g) and dry matter intake (1.79 vs. 1.64 kg). Above all, replacement of milk with skim milk at 50% level after 4th week followed by complete removal after 6th week of age (F2) seemed to suit better in coping with immediate energy starvation due to sole feeding of skim milk (F3) and they performed the best under group housed system of rearing.
Purpose of this study is to find out proper means of estimating the urinary mercury excretion in the normal individuals. Whole void volume was collected every 2 hours beginning from 6 o'clock in the morning until 6 o'clock next morning. Mercury excretion in each urine specimen was measured by NIOSH recommended dithizone colorimetric method (Method No.: P & CAM 145). Urinary concentration of mercury was adjusted by two means: specific gravity of 1.024 and a gram of creatinine excretion per liter of urine comparing the data with the unadjusted ones. Mercury excretion in 24-hour urine specimen was calculated by adding the amounts measured with the hourly collected specimens of each individual. Statistical analysis of the urinary mercury excretion revealed the following results: 1. Frequency distribution curve of mercury excreted in urine of hourly specimens was best fitted to power function expressed in the form of $y=ax^b$. Adjustment of the urinary mercury concentration by creatinine excretion was shown to be superior($y=1674x^{-1.52},\;r^2=0.95$) over nonadjustment($y=2702x^{-1.57},\;r^2=0.92$) and adjustment by specific gravity of 1.024($y=4535x^{-1.66},\;r^2=0.93$). 2. Both log-transformed mercury excretion in hourly voided specimens and mercury excretion itself in 24 hour specimens showed the normal distributions. 3. The frequency distribution of mercury adjusting the urinary concentration of mercury by creatinine excretion was best fitted to a theoretical normal distribution with the sample means and standard deviation than those unadjusted or adjusted with specific gravity of 1.024. 4. Average urinary mercury excretions in 24-hour urine specimen in an individual were as follows: a) Unadjusted mercury excretion mean and standard deviation : $$18.6{\pm}13.68{\mu}gHg/l$$. median : $$16.0\;{\mu}gHg/l$$. range : $$0.0-55.10\;{\mu}gHg/l$$. b) Adjusted with specific gravity mean : $$20.7{\pm}11.76\;{\mu}gHg/l{\times}\frac{0.024}{S.G-1.000}$$ median : $$20.7\;{\mu}gHg/l{\times}\frac{0.024}{S.G-1.000}$$ range : $$0.0-52.9\;{\mu}gHg/l{\times}\frac{0.024}{S.G-1.000}$$ c) Adjusted with creatinine excretion mean and standard deviation : $$10.5{\pm}6.98\;{\mu}gHg/g$$ creatinine/l median : $$9.4\;{\mu}gHg/g$$ creatinine/l range : $$0.0-26.7\;{\mu}gHg/g$$ creatinine/l 5. No statistically significant differences were found between means calculated from 24-hour urine specimens and those from hourly specimens transformed into logarithmic values. (P<0.05).

In an effort to investigate special distribution of glucose content of potato tuber of a cultivar 'Superior' after harvest, a whole tuber was longitudinally cut into halves and cut-surface was divided into 11 regions. Approximate glucose concentration of each section was determined using a commercial blood glucose meter. Higher level of glucose was detected in the outer layers of tissue than inner part of tuber although there were lower coefficients of variation value, 37.4% and 34.1% among individual tubers and among defined sections, respectively. A positive correlation between the whole tuber and individual section was existed in glucose content, where the central pith tissue gave the highest coefficient (r = 0.921) and bud end tissue did the lowest (r = 0.544). Glucose content of the tubers stored for 4 months at $2.0^{\circ}C$ was 5.5 fold higher compared to the tubers kept in ambient temperature. The chip color of the former tubers was much brighter than those of the latter tubers. The result obtained in the present study suggests that the blood glucose meter can be used to a rapid and simple evaluation of glucose content and therein be applied to estimate the processing quality of potato tubers during postharvest handling.
