중첩을 응용한 현대 패션의 표현적 특성 (Expressional Characteristics of Modern Fashion Applied Superimposition)

  • Superimposition is a transforming technique that can facilitate the creation. Superimposition in previous studies, however, has only been fragmentary described as an expression technique, so the studies have not been conducted on the basis of its aesthetic value. The purpose of this study is to investigate how superimposition is applied and expressed in terms of forms of modern fashion based on multi-dimensional features of design processing. The codes of togetherness, ambivalence, sense of space and tension in dress were determined by using the expressional Superimposition. The forms of superimposition were limited to superimposition of clothing, superimposition of body and clothing and superimposition of body and Phenomenal body. This study found that superimposition has developed, in fashion forms/types, a new 'form' by overlapping various forms and thus provides a visual shock and a sense of mystery by using mismatched and arbitrary properties among the forms. Such a superimposition influences a methodology of fashion design through a designer's subjective tendencies, as well as influences a change in the view of the world. Also, a superimposition is expected to have a definite influence on new fashion trends.

A method for mandibular dental arch superimposition using 3D cone beam CT and orthodontic 3D digital model

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop superimposition method on the lower arch using 3-dimensional (3D) cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images and orthodontic 3D digital modeling. Methods: Integrated 3D CBCT images were acquired by substituting the dental portion of 3D CBCT images with precise dental images of an orthodontic 3D digital model. Images were acquired before and after treatment. For the superimposition, 2 superimposition methods were designed. Surface superimposition was based on the basal bone structure of the mandible by surface-to-surface matching (best-fit method). Plane superimposition was based on anatomical structures (mental and lingual foramen). For the evaluation, 10 landmarks including teeth and anatomic structures were assigned, and 30 times of superimpositions and measurements were performed to determine the more reproducible and reliable method. Results: All landmarks demonstrated that the surface superimposition method produced relatively more consistent coordinate values. The mean distances of measured landmarks values from the means were statistically significantly lower with the surface superimpositions method. Conclusions: Between the 2 superimposition methods designed for the evaluation of 3D changes in the lower arch, surface superimposition was the simpler, more reproducible, reliable method.

오픈-소스 소프트웨어를 이용한 콘빔 전산화단층영상의 중첩 및 시각화 (Cone-beam CT superimposition and visualization using open-source softwares)

  • ITK-SNAP (http://www.itksnap.org) and 3D Slicer (CMFreg extension module; www.slicer.org) are open-source softwares which can be used for superimposition of cone-beam CT images. For superimposition, segmentation of bone is done with ITK-SNAP, and then voxel based superimposition of CBCT images can be performed using 3D Slicer. 3D Slicer has various visualization modules which are not provided in common commercial programs. 'Models' module is used to visualize two overlapping three-dimensional images, and this allows various visualizations by changing view mode and color of the model. In addition, differences between two CBCT images can be represented in a color map using 'ShapePopulationViewer' module. This report introduces how to superimpose and visualize CBCT images using ITK-SNAP and 3D Slicer, and the usefulness and limitations of both softwares will be discussed in comparison with commercial softwares.

현대패션에 나타난 러시아구성주의 건축공간의 중첩연구 (Superimposition of Russian Constructivist Architectural Spaces Reflected in Modern Fashion Design)

  • The superimposition of the Russian constructivist architectural design is one of the notable transforming techniques of conventional design principles. The main objective of this paper is to analyse the superimposed space in the modern fashion design based on the techniques and characteristics of superimposition appeared in Russian constructivism architectural space. The artistic characteristics of the superimposed design in the modern fashion design can be determined by codes of dynamics, sense of space, rhythmical sense, communications and tension of the dress. Through this study, it was found that superimposition of the Russian constructivist architectural design in the modern fashion design has influenced the modern fashion design space in the forms of dynamics with directive sense, vitality through transparency, uniformity with geometric interpenetrates, intensive visual attraction created by duplicity, communication between human body and clothes, creation of transformative beauty and enhancement of structural volume on clothes.

OFDM 주파수 효율 증가를 위한 중첩 전송 방법 성능 비교 (A Comparison of Superimposition Schemes for Spectral Efficiency Improvement of OFDM)

  • 본 논문에서는 OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 시스템의 주파수 효율 증가를 목적으로 시간 영역에 추가적인 데이터 신호를 중첩시키는 방법들의 성능을 비교한다. 본 저자들이 제안하였던 시간 영역 데이터 중첩 전송 (TDSD : Time Domain Superimposition of Data) 시스템은 기존 중첩 전송 방식들 (SPPT : the Superimposed periodic pilot in the time domain, APSB : the Added Pilot Semi-Blind channel estimation)이 파일롯 신호를 데이터와 중첩하도록 하는 방법과 달리 시간 영역에서 추가 데이터를 중첩시킨다. 그러나 중첩 전송 방식들은 데이터 전송률을 증가시킬 경우, 주파수간 간섭 (ICI)이 증가하는 관계를 갖는다. 하지만 TDSD는 선처리 과정을 통해서 시간 영역 신호와 주파수 영역 신호간의 간섭을 제거함으로써 주파수 효율을 증가시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서 기존에 제안된 OFDM에서의 중첩 전송 방식들과 여러 모의실험을 통하여 성능을 비교한다. TDSD는 주파수 효율 측면에서 일반적인 OFDM 시스템과 비교할 경우 특정 중첩 전송 변수 사용 (M=16) 시 약 20%의 주파수 효율을 증가 시키는 데 반해 SPPT는 일반적인 OFDM과 비슷한 성능을 갖는다. 그리고 APSB는 비교 대상 중에서 가장 낮은 효율을 보인다.

  • [$Bj\ddot{o}rk$]와 Skieller는 상, 하악골에 임플란트를 매식하여 안면골 성장유형을 관찰한 결과 성장으로 인하여 영향을 받지 않는 안정된 골구조물(stable structure)의 존재를 확인했고 성장중에 있는 환자의 안면골을 중첩할 때에는 반드시 이러한 부위를 기준으로 중첩해야 한다고 하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 40여년이 흐른 지금까지 대부분의 교정의들은 안정골구조물을 이용한 중첩법(structural method) 보다는 최적중첩법(best fit method)을 선호하고 있다. 그러나 Angle씨 부정교합 II급 2류의 하악골과 같이 특징적으로 전상방 성장을 하는 골격구조를 갖는 증례와, 치료 후 장기관찰 증례에서는 두 중첩법 사이에 현저한 차이가 있다는 사실을 부인할 수는 없다. 이제는 윤리적인 문제때문에 더이상 임플란트를 매식하여 관찰하는 연구를 할 수 없게 되어 $Bj\ddot{o}rk$가 연구해왔던 임플란트 자료를 근거로 안정골구조물 중첩법을 사용할 수 밖에 없다. 따라서 안정골구조물 중첩법의 실용화를 위하여 본 저자들은 안정골구조물 중첩법의 합리적 근거를 제시하고 중첩방법을 자세히 소개하고자 한다.

컴퓨터 시각 인식 기법을 이용한 영상 중첩법에 의한 개인식별 (Image Superimposition for the Individual Identification Using Computer Vision System)

  • In this thesis, a new superimposition scheme using a computer vision system was proposed with 7 pairs of skull and ante-mortem photographs, which were already identified through other tests and DNA fingerprints at the Korea National Institute of Scientific Investigation. At this computer vision system, an unidentified skull was caught by video-camcoder with the MPEG and a ante-mortem photograph was scanned by scanner. These two images were processed and superimposed using pixel processing. Recognition of the individual identification by anatomical references was performed on the two superimposed images. These results were as followings. 1. For the enhancement of skull and ante-mortem photographs, various image processing schemes, such as SMOOTH, SHARPEN, EMBOSS, MOSAIC, ENGRAVE, INVERT, NEON and COLOR TO MONO, were applied using 3*5 window processing. As an image processing result of these methods, the optimal techniques were NEON, INVERT and ENGRAVE for the edge detection of skull and ante-mortem photograph. 2. Using various superimposition image processing techniques (SRCOR, SRCAND, SRCINVERT, SRCERASE, DSTINVERT, MERGEPAINT) were compared for the enhancement of image recognition. 3. By means of the video camera, the skull image was inputed directly to a computer system : superimposing it on the ante-mortem photograph made the identification more precise and time-saving. As mentioned above, this image processing techniques for the superimposition of skull and ante-mortem photographs simply used the previous approach, In other wrods, taking skull photographs and developing it to the same size as the ante-mortem photographs. This system using various image processing techniques on computer screen, a more precise and time-saving superimposition technique could be able to be applied in the area of individual identification in forensic practice.

종곡선과 완화곡선 경합시 차량주행안전성 및 승차감에 대한 해석적 연구 (An Analytical Study on Running Safety and Ride Comfort in Case of Superimposition of Vertical and Transition Curves)

  • 현행 철도건설기준에서 종곡선과 완화곡선의 경합은 궤도형식에 관계없이 허용하고 있지 않다. 그러나 이러한 기준은 주로 자갈도상궤도의 유지보수의 어려움 때문에 정립된 것이다. 콘크리트궤도는 자갈도상궤도에 비해 유지보수 및 구조안전성 측면에서 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 콘크리트 궤도의 경우, 열차의 주행안전성 및 승차감 기준을 만족하는 범위내에서 어느 정도의 선로경합은 완화할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 종곡선과 완화곡선의 경합여부에 따라 도상종별 열차의 주행안전성 및 승차감, 그리고 궤도작용력을 비교 분석하였으며, 그 결과 경합된 경우도 주행안전, 승차감 및 궤도작용력 기준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 비록 자갈도상궤도에서의 선로경합은 많은 유지보수를 필요로 하기 때문에 적용될 수는 없다 할지라도, 콘크리트궤도에서는 유지보수 및 구조적 장점을 고려할 때 종곡선과 완화곡선의 경합이 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Evaluation of Tooth Movement and Arch Dimension Change in the Mandible Using a New Three-dimensional Indirect Superimposition Method

  • Purpose: To analyze the amount and pattern of tooth movement and the changes in arch dimension of mandibular dentition after orthodontic treatment using a new three-dimensional (3D)-indirect superimposition method. Materials and Methods: The samples consisted of fifteen adult patients with class I bialveolar protrusion and minimal anterior crowding, treated by extraction of four first premolars with conventional sliding mechanics. After superimposition of 3D-virtual maxillary models before and after treatment using best-fit method, 3D-virtual mandibular model at each stage was placed into a common coordinate of superimposition using 3D-bite information, which resulted in 3D-indirect superimposition for mandibular dentition. The changes in mandibular dental and arch dimensional variables were measured with Rapidform 2006 (INUS Technology). Paired t-test was used for statistical analysis. Result: The anterior teeth moved backward, displaced laterally, and inclined lingually. The posterior teeth showed statistically significant contraction toward midsagittal plane. The amounts of backward movement of anterior teeth and forward movement of posterior teeth showed a ratio of 6 : 1. Although the inter-canine width increased slightly (0.8 mm, P<0.05), the inter-second premolar, inter-first molar, and inter-second molar widths decreased significantly with similar amounts (2.2 mm, P<0.05; 2.3 mm, P<0.01; 2.3 mm, P<0.001). The molar depth decreased (6.7 mm, P<0.001) but canine depth did not change. Conclusion: A new 3D-indirect superimposition of the mandibular dentitions using best-fit method and 3D-bite information can present a guideline for virtual treatment planning in terms of tooth position and arch dimension.
