펄스 중첩법을 이용한 내부 보이드에서의 부분방전 특성. (Partial Discharge Characteristics at a Internal Void Using a Pulse Superimposing Technique)

  • In this paper, a new PD measurement technique of pulse superposition method was proposed in order to investigate both PD mechanism and phase related PD patterns. From the experimental results, we could find that the polarity and the phase angle of the superposed pulse take great effects on PD characteristics and these method make it possible to get the physical information which statistical approach can not give. We could conclude that the changes of PD characteristics in the void surrounded by polymers may be attributed to the injection of charge carriers thereby formation of space charge in the surface and/or the bulk of the polymer.

중첩방전 반응기에 의한 오존의 생성 (Ozone Generation by Superimposing Discharge Reactor)

  • In this paper, characteristics of ozone generation by using coil and SPCP + DC corona reactor was studied. The ceramic-based surface discharge electrode, which was first invented as a high-efficiency ozonizer, has been used as an experimental plasma chemical reactor.(Surface Induced Plasma Chemical Processing, SPCP.) The electrode, however, has a structural disadvantage that a highly energetic plasma region is localized near the electrode surface, which may make it impossible for higher efficiency to realize. In an attempt to overcome this advantage, we have developed a hybrid reactor which employs a corona discharge unit together with the surface discharge unit. Experimental results suggest that the efficiency of the ozone production rate is improved when positive corona discharge is added.

Electrical Breakdown Strength of Insulation under Combined DC-AC Voltages

  • Electrical breakdown strength of paper-oil and polypropylene/film-oil insulation samples was measured under dc, ac and pulsating voltages. The latter was obtained by superimposing ac upon dc volate and provides an attractive method for a simultaneous testing and assessment of the state of insulation of the various parts of HV apparatus in service. The measurements were carried out over a wide range of the pulsation ratio defined as p=Eac/Edc. The results obtained under pulsating voltages follow colsely an experssion which relates the breakdown strength to the sum of arc tangent and arc cotangent function of the parameter p. The study was carried out using dry paper as well as paper containing various degrees of moisture. The presence of moisture showed a pronounced effect upon the breakdown strength which varied with the pulsation parameter p.

Kinematics of the Nonsteady Axi-symmetric Ideal Plastic Flow Process

  • A nonsteady axi-symmetric ideal flow solution is obtained here. It is based on the rigid perfect-plastic constitutive law with the Tresca yield condition and its associated flow rule. The process is to deform a circular solid disk into a spherical shell of prescribed geometry. It is assumed that there are no rigid zones and friction stresses. The solution obtained provides the distribution of kinematic variables and involves one undetermined function of the time. This function can be in general found by superimposing an optimality criterion.

  • 본 논문에서는 준최적 계단 에지 검출기로 알려진 1차 미분 가우스 연산자(DroG)의 등가형으로 2개의 가우스 여파기를 합성한 새로운 에지 검출 연산자를 제안하였다. 이 에지 검출기는 성능면(신호대 잡음비,에지위치와 다중에지 발생률)에서 DroG와 거의 대등함을 보였다. 또한, 이 에지 검출기는 DroG와 LoG(Laplscian of Gaussian)시스템에서 공통으로 2차원 저역 여파기를 사용하기 때문에, 기존의 DroG시스템 연산량의 절반 정도로 계산량을 줄일 수 있었다.

  • Thermal infrared imaging is a highly promising technology for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of electronic, electrical and mechanical elements in nuclear power plants. However, conventional low-cost infrared imaging systems suffer from poor spatial resolution compared to commercial CCD cameras.   • 비동기 디지탈 변조 시스템은 일반적으로 아날로그(analog) 신호를 시간축상에 샘플링(sampling)하지 않고 진폭축상에서 양자화하기 때문에 그 출력펄스는 보통 랜덤(random)하여 재래의 동기식 시분할 다중방식은 적용하지 못한다. 아날로그 신호를 터지탈 코오드화하게 되면 전송회로의 비직선성이나 중계기의 잡음 누적 등의 문제점이 어느 정도 해소되므로 여기에 Pierce의 다중통신 방식(1)을 적용하기로 하고 이를 실현시키는데 알맞는 디지탈 변조방식에 대해서 고찰하였다.

  • The major effects of RSP sre 1) extension of solid solubilities, 2) formation of metastable phaeses, 3) microstructural refinement 4) segregationless. The main trust of this study was to investigate the effects of superimposing RSP on the structure and properties of HSLA steels. Powder was made by NGA (Nitrogen Gas Atomization) process, and consolidated by HIP. The high grain-coarsening resistance of NGA-HIP steels was attributed to a fine dispersion of oxide precipitates. The average grain size for the NGA-HIP steels was somewhat finer than that for the conventional HSLA steels, The impact properteis of NGA-HIP steels were improved over those of the conventional HSLA steels.

이온풍을 이용한 실린더 뒤의 후류 제어 (The wake flow control behind a circular cylinder using ion wind)

  • Many active and passive flow control methods have been studied since decades, but there are only few works about flow control methods using ion wind. This paper presents an experimental study on the wake control behind a circular cylinder using ion wind, a bulk motion of neutral molecules driven by locally ionized air of corona discharge. Experiments are done f3r different electrohydrodynamic numbers - the ratio of an electrical body farce to a fluid Inertial force - from 0 to 2 and for the Reynolds number ranging from $4{\times}10^3\;to\;8{\times}10^3$. Pressure distributions over a cylinder surface are measured and flow visualizations are carried out by smoke wire method. Flow visualizations confirm that ion wind affects significantly the wake structure behind a circular cylinder and pressure drag could be dramatically reduced by the superimposing ion wind.

단섬유 보강 이방성 사출성형품의 휨 해석 (Warpage Analysis of Fiber Reinforced Injection Molded Parts)

  • A warpage analysis program has been developed for fiber-reinforced injection molded parts. The warpage is predicted from the residual stress and anisotropic thermo-mechanical properties coupled with fiber orientation in the integrated injection molding simulation. A simple elastic model is used for the calculation of thermally and pressure-induced residual stresses which are employed as the initial conditions in the structural analysis. To improve the reliability of warpage analysis, a new triangular flat shell element superimposing well-known efficient plate bending and membrane element is presented. The numerical examples address the necessity to use anisotropic models for fiber-reinforced materials and show that predicted warpage is in good agreement with experimentally measured one.
