Zero Cross Point를 이용한 전력선 통신 모뎀의 FPGA 설계 (FPGA Design of Power Line Communication Modem using Zero Cross Point)

  • 전력선 통신(Power Line Communication)은 전력선과 연결되어 있는 디바이스들을 간단히 제어하기 위한 기술로 제안 되었으며, 홈오토메이션, 원격 검침(AMR) 분야에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 최근에는 스마트 홈, 유비쿼터스와 관련해 다양한 홈 네트워크 시스템들이 제안되면서 이들 시스템을 효과적으로 구현할 수 있는 방안으로 전력선 통신기술이 많이 제안되고 있다. 전력선 통신은 많은 유용성에도 불구하고 전력선 채널에 대한 정확한 채널 모델링과 전력선 모뎀의 성능에 관해서는 많은 문제점을 나타내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신을 위한 전송선로의 주파수에 대한 잡음과 임피던스 특성 및 전력선 채널에 데이터 신호를 Chirp-SS(Spread Spectrum) 신호로 맵핑하여 채널의 Zero Cross Point 구간에 전송하였을 때의 시뮬레이션 결과와 설계된 FPGA 보드를 비교분석 하였다. 채널 모델은 배경 잡음과 할로겐 잡음, 전송선로의 감쇄 특성만을 고려하였으며, 전력선 채널 상에서의 Zero Cross Point를 이용한 전력선 통신 모뎀의 성능을 분석하였다.

  • This paper discribed the characteristic of I-t cross-over-point between current limited-fuse and explusion fuse(Bay-O-Net Fuse) and fuse protection in pad-mounted transformer that was generated internal faults and the short circuit of secondary side(load side). In the I-t cross-over-point, current limited fuse was melted when transient recovery voltage was raised rapidly.

  • GPS Receiver는 위성에 위치 정보와 시간 정보등을 제공하고 navigation을 관리하며 이에 관련된 signal을 processing하는 역할을 한다. 2005년에 발사 예정인 KOMPSAT-2 위성에는 Alcatel에서 제작된 Topstar 3000이 사용된다. Topstar 3000은 RF 부분과 digital 처리부분으로 구성된 GPS core부분과 MLD-STD_1553, DC-DC converter, 그리고 Ovened-controlled Oscillator(OCXO)부분으로 구성되는 option module 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 GPS Signal Simulator로 KOMPSAT-2의 실제 궤도를 구현해서 Sun-Point Mode와 Earth-Point Mode 등 여러가지 Mode 에서 GPS Receiver의 시간, 위치, 속도 정보의 정확성에 대한 성능이 분석된다.

Approximation of Common Fixed Points of Mean Non-expansive Mapping in Banach Spaces

  • Let X be a uniformly convex Banach space, and S, T be pair of mean nonexpansive mappings. Some necessary and sufficient conditions are given for Ishikawa iterative sequence converge to common fixed points, and we prove that the sequence of Ishikawa iterations associated with S and T converges to the common fixed point of S and T. This generalizes former results proved by Z. Gu and Y. Li [4].

Eigenenergies of 3D-Coulomb and 3D-Harmonic Oscillator Potentials from WKB Quantization: Point Canonical Transformation

  • A direct application of the WKB quantization to the three-dimensional Coulomb potential does not yield the exact eigenenergies. The three-dimensional Coulomb potential is converted to a Morse potential by using the point canonical transformation. Then the WKB quantization is applied to the Morse potential to find a relationship between the eigenenergies of the Coulomb and those of the Morse potentials. From the relationship the exact eigenenergis of the Coulomb potential are determined. The same method is found to be also valid for the three-dimensional harmonic oscillator potential. And the Langer modified WKB quantization is algebraically derived.

기상측정(機上測定) 시스템 개발 (Development of On-the-Machine Measurement(OMM) System)

  • This paper describes the development of on-the-machine measuring(OMM) system which can directly measure the two and three dimensional machined accuracy using a scanning probe in milling machine. Two algorithms, NC program based continuous path(CP) measurement and CAD data assisted point to point(PTP) measurement, are developed for three dimensional measurements, with consideration of the characteristics of the scanning probe. The algorithms are used to develop an auto measuring system. The delveloped system is compared with the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) in terms of accuracy and repeatability. The OMM system is expected to realize measurement time reduction and hence result in high productivity.

  • We give a theorem of existence of six nontrivial solutions of the nonlinear Hamiltonian system $\.{z}$ = $J(H_z(t,z))$. For the proof of the theorem we use the critical point theory induced from the limit relative category of the torus with three holes and the finite dimensional reduction method.

Improved LiDAR-Camera Calibration Using Marker Detection Based on 3D Plane Extraction

  • In this paper, we propose an enhanced LiDAR-camera calibration method that extracts the marker plane from 3D point cloud information. In previous work, we estimated the straight line of each board to obtain the vertex. However, the errors in the point information in relation to the z axis were not considered. These errors are caused by the effects of user selection on the board border. Because of the nature of LiDAR, the point information is separated in the horizontal direction, causing the approximated model of the straight line to be erroneous. In the proposed work, we obtain each vertex by estimating a rectangle from a plane rather than obtaining a point from each straight line in order to obtain a vertex more precisely than the previous study. The advantage of using planes is that it is easier to select the area, and the most point information on the board is available. We demonstrated through experiments that the proposed method could be used to obtain more accurate results compared to the performance of the previous method.
