  • One approach to testing the suitability of an adhesive joint for a particular application is to build and test to destruct ion a representative sample of the joint. The nondestructive test will not measure strength directly but will measure a parameter which can be correlated to strength. It is therefore, essential that a suitable nondestructive test is chosen and that its results are correctly interpreted. In this paper, typical defects found in adhesive joints are described together with their significance. The limits and likely success of current physical nondestructive tests are described, and future trends outlined.

웹페이지의 의학용어 출현 빈도와 하이퍼링크에 기반한 웹사이트 분류 (Website Classification based on Occurrence Frequency of Medical Terms and Hyperlinks in Webpage)

  • 본 논문은 웹페이지에 포함된 의학용어의 출현 빈도와 웹페이지 간의 하이퍼링크로 이루어진 웹사이트의 구조에 기반하여 인터넷 웹사이트를 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법에서는 (1)웹페이지에 포함된 전체 용어에서의 의학용어 출현빈도와 (2)웹페이지에 포함된 중복을 제거한 용어에서의 의학용어 출현 빈도를 인자로 하여 웹페이지의 의학분야 적합도를 측정한다. 그리고 (3)홈페이지로부터 특정 웹페이지에 접근하기 위해 거쳐야 하는 하이퍼링크의 개수를 이용한 전체 웹페이지의 적합도 연산을 통해 웹사이트의 의학분야 적합도를 측정한다. 인터넷 포털 사이트의 디렉토리 검색 서비스에 등록된 80 개의 의학분야 웹사이트와 127 개의 비 의학분야 웹사이트를 대상으로 제안한 방법에 기반하여 웹사이트 분류 실험을 수행하였고, 82.5 %의 분류 정확률을 확인하였다.

  • 현재 시행되고 있는 토지적성평가체계는 관리지역의 보전 및 이용가능성의 정도에 따라 필지별로 생산$\cdot$보전$\cdot$계획관리지역으로 세분화하도록 규정하고 있다 본 연구는 현행 필지별 토지적성평가체계의 문제점을 분석하고 이에 대한 개선점을 도출하여 합리적인 평가방법을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. GIS를 활용하여 사례지역을 대상으로 민감도 분석을 수행하여, 보다 상세한 필지정보를 획득할 수 있는 10m 해상도의 격자형 평가방법을 대안으로 제시하였다. 또한 단 하나의 기개발지 및 공공시설만을 선택하여 개발적성에 반영하는 현 평가방법의 대안으로써, 해당지역의 기개발지 및 공공시설의 분포를 고려하여 두개이상의 기개발지 및 공공시설을 선정하여 평가하도록 제안하였다. 마지막으로 개별 필지의 개발적성산출에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 기개발지 및 공공시설의 특성을 반영하는 방법으로, 중력 모형의 매력도 변수를 합리적으로 조정하여 보다 과학적인 평가모형을 제시하였다.

미래형 신산업단지의 입지적합성 평가지표체계 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Index System Evaluating the Location Suitability for the Future-Oriented New Industrial Complex)

  • This study suggested the necessity of introducing the future-oriented new industrial complex as a way to enhance the competitiveness of the industrial complex in response to the industrial ecosystem change caused by the 4th industrial revolution. To evaluate the location suitability for the new industrial complex, location indices were developed in this study. The flexibility of location and connectivity to neighboring areas of the future-oriented new industrial complexes were the focused subjects of this study. In-depth expert consultation and Delphi survey were conducted to construct an index system and to measure the indices. Afterwards, the AHP analysis was conducted to elucidate the weighting by indicators. As a result, the indicators of industrial innovation environment were the most important in the major category. In addition, the convenience of workers, especially urban environment, was analyzed as an important factor for success of the future-oriented new industrial complex. The indicators which are closely related to the concept and purpose of the future-oriented new industrial complex turned out to have the higher weight compared to other indicators. From the point of view of the developers of the industrial complexes or tenant companies, the implications for deriving suitable locations for development of industrial complexes among urban under-utilized sites are suggested. Furthermore, It is expected that the government will be able to apply the development system to stimulate the development of these new industrial complexes and to prepare guidelines for selecting locations.

농촌마을 환경색채 미도(美度)와 선호도 관계 및 적용성 연구 (Aesthetic-Measure, and Visual Preference of Environmental Colors in Korea Rural Town)

  • Pro-environmental life styles, foundations of a collective civilization and preservation of our tradition at rural communities hold a great public profit value, of which importance has been strongly emphasized during last decade. Here, the environmental color is one of the most influential elements that determine the image of the rural landscape. Whenever an alternative color element is introduced to rural town, it is very important to examine its effect on the existing environmental color. Typically, a preference-surveying method has been used to evaluate the suitability of such environmental color balance. However, we note that the reliability of this method is limited by the subjectivity of a respondent. And thus, it is highly desirable to develop a more objective method. We propose a feasibility study for using an aesthetic-measure to evaluate the environmental color of a rural town. In this work, we looked into the validity of our approach by comparing its result with that of the preference-based-method as a way to determine the environmental color. Our study is based on 20 photo images from Ansung-city Yangsung-myeon Donghang 2ri Kyo-dong town in Kyongki Province.

허벅지 운동능력 측정을 위한 스트레치 센서 개발 (Development of Stretch Sensors to Measure Thigh Motor Capacity)

  • This study aimed to produce sensors for measuring thigh motor skills. A textile stretch sensor was manufactured using a CNT(Carbon Nano Tube) 0.1 wt% water SWCNT(Single-Walled Carbon Nano Tube) solution, and different designs were applied to increase the sensitivity of the sensor, and different GF(Gauge Factor) values were compared using UTM devices. The same design was applied to fabrics and weaves to observe changes in performance according to fibrous tissue, and the suitability of sensors was determined based on tensile strength, elongation, and the elongation recovery rate. Sensitivity was found to vary depending upon the design. Thus the manufactured sensor was attached to a pair of fitness pants as a prototype, divided into lunge position and squat position testing, and the stretch sensor was used to measure thigh movements. It was shown that stretch sensors used to measure thigh motor skills should have light and flexible features and that elongation recovery rates and tensile strength should be considered together. The manufactured stretch sensor may be applicable to various sports fields that use lower limb muscles, wearable healthcare products, and medical products for measuring athletic ability.

교사용 칭찬성향 검사도구 개발 및 타당화 검증 (Development and Validation of a Teacher's Praise Disposition Scale)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a teacher's praise dispositions scale(TPDS). On the basis of a literature review of praise, we developed 19 Likert-type items to measure praise dispositions of elementary and secondary school teachers. The developed scale was examined with 342 teachers. With an exploratory factor analysis we extracted 3 sub-factors of the scale consisted of 16 items; frequency, intention, and standard of praise. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients of sub-scales were from .60 to .85 and split-half reliabilities were from .60 to .84. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the suitability of three components model. It was found that some correlation coefficients, not all of them, between gratitude disposition and praise disposition were statistically significant. It suggested that teachers'praise disposition scale is related to gratitude disposition but is not the same scale. In conclusion, TPDS could be used to measure praise dispositions of teachers. However, for further validity and reliability, repeated research is necessary.

  • In this study, developed a micro-level experimental setup to measure pore pressure and poroelastic modulus in various strain and strain rate about a stress in micro-structure of bone tissue. It is essential device in the development of the model to analysis the interstitial bone fluid flow of the lacuno-canalicular system to be known that would effect on the bone remodeling. The constitution of the experimental setup is as follows, microscopic image processing system; actuator control unit; load measurement system. A pilot study was used an artificial chemical wood to have similar poroelastic property of bone matrix and conducted to validate the suitability of the measurement system.

서로 다른 납기를 갖는 작업에 대한 이종 병렬기계에서의 일정계획수립 (Scheduling Jobs with different Due-Date on Nonidentical Parallel Machines)

  • This paper considers the nonidentical parallel machine scheduling problem in which n jobs having different due dates are to be scheduled on m nonidentical parallel machines. For the make-to-order manufacturing environment, the objective is to minimize the number of tardy jobs. A 0-1 nonlinear programming model is formulated and a heuristic algorithm that allocates and sequences jobs to machines is developed. The proposed algorithm makes use of the concept of assignment problem based on the suitability measure as the cost coefficient. Computational experiments show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the existing one in some performance measures such as number of tardy jobs. In addition, this algorithm is appropriate for solving real industrial problems efficiently.
