This paper categorizes these factors into 4 quality measures: system information, service and entertainment. The success is measured via user's satisfaction and loyalty. It surveys 474 Internet users to find the effect of the quality measures on web site success empirically. We confirm the causal effect of quality factors on users' satisfaction and loyalty. Furthermore, a comparative study is performed fur Web site types, such as finance, e-commerce (shopping mall), and entertainment. We note that the effect differs in web site types.

  • Incentive/Disincentive (I/D) contracting experiences in many states have been evaluated in terms of time and cost performance and substantial project time savings were found in many project cases. However, there is little understanding on individual project success factors for I/D projects during construction. This paper explores the significance of I/D clause in the success of the MacArthur Maze reconstruction project and summarizes a list of group causes that explains and elaborates on the detailed factors. The methods used for carrying out this study started with a search of online media and news reports and contract documents were also obtained from Caltrans. After review of the preliminary information, Interviews were performed with the Caltrans Resident Engineer and the contractor's project manager who were in charge of the MacArthur Maze reconstruction. In conclusion, the evaluation of their responses hinted at six significant cause groups responsible for the project's success. These groups can be listed as: 1) Motivation, 2) Policy, 3) Teamwork, 4) Communication, 5) Expectation, and 6) Resource Management.

Korean government enforces the creative economy policy for the economic growth and job creation. Especially, Technology based startup is actively supported to realize the creative economy. To maximize the efficiency of supporting start-ups, we have to analyze a perception gap of the startup success factors between technology based entrepreneur and startup facilitator. Through the analysis, the supporting policy of startup utilized efficiently the limited resources is necessary. So, the purpose of this study is analysis the difference of the startup success factors which technology based entrepreneur and startup facilitator recognize. To analysis, the start-up success factors derived from previous studies were categorized them as 1) characteristics of the founder, 2) start-up strategy, 3) characteristics of the organization, and 4) start-up environment. Also, The CEO of technology based start-ups and the researcher in national research institute to support SMEs were surveyed. Then, Survey was analyzed by utilizing the ANP methodology to priority derivation of start-up success factors. Result of analysis, Technology Based Entrepreneur was determined that 'composition and expertise of organization' is most important factor for success of startup. On the other hand, Startup facilitator was determined that 'financing strategy of organization' is most important factor for success of startup. Both groups are recognized as important strategy. And start-up environment is recognized as a relatively unimportant. On the other hand, the importance which two groups evaluate about characteristics of entrepreneur and characteristics of organization was different. • This study was aimed at investigating important factors influencing career success among disabled workers. The current researcher scrutinized the degree to which variables and factors affect the career success and occupational turnover rates of the research participants. The participants in this study (n=837) were 374 workers with disabilities and 463 workers without disabilities. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the results of factor analysis showed important categories of conceptual themes of career success. The initial conceptual factor model did not accord with the empirical one. Second, both research participant groups seemed to be influenced by their occupational types. However, all predictive variables excluding the wage rate and the average length of work years had significant impact on job success for the disabled work group, while all the variables excluding the frequency of advice and length of working years had significant impact on job success for the non-disabled worker group. Third, the turnover rate was significantly influenced by the age and the experience of turnover of the research participants. However, the number of co-workers was the strongest predictive variable for the worker group with disabilities, but the occupation choice variable for the worker group without disabilities. Fifth, as a result of verifying the hypothetical path model, it showed that the first model was somewhat proper and could predict the career success on both research participant groups. In conclusion, the following research implications can be suggested. The occupational type of research participants was one of the most important variables to predict the career success for both research participant groups.

  • In the restaurant industry, start-ups are active due to high demand from consumers and low entry barriers. However, the restaurant industry has a high closure rate, and in the case of franchises, there is a large deviation in sales within the same brand. Thus, research is needed to prevent the closure of food franchises. Therefore, this study examines the factors affecting franchise sales and uses machine learning techniques to predict the success and failure of franchises. Various factors that affect franchise sales are extracted by using Point of Sale (PoS) data of food franchise and public data in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. And for more valid variable selection, multicollinearity is removed by using Variance Inflation Factor (VIF). Finally, classification models are used to predict the success and failure of food franchise stores. Through this method, we propose success and failure prediction model for food franchise stores with the accuracy of 0.92.

  • This study was conducted to confirm whether organization culture unbalance plays a role as a moderating variable on the mediation process that protean career orientation influences subjective career success through continuous learning activity. To this end, a survey was carried out on 276 office workers with more than 5 years of work experience in large companies, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 25 and Process Macro v3.5. The results showed that continuous learning activity mediates the relationship of protean career orientation affecting subjective career success, but moderating effect of organizational culture unbalance and the moderated mediation effect were not statistically significant. However, statistical significance was found on the moderating effect of organizational culture unbalance on the mediation process, that 'self-direction', protean career orientation's sub-factor, affects subjective career success and its' sub-factor 'employability', and 'career satisfaction' through continuous learning activity. The significance and limitations of our findings are also discussed.

  • With the development of ICT technology, various mobile applications have appeared one after another, and they have penetrated deeply into the lives of individuals. In order to explore the key factors that movie content-related applications should have through empirical studies, this study used the information system success model to investigate the influence of each quality factor on movie consumers' attitudes toward movies and their viewing intentions. As a result of the study, it was derived that the most important factor among the quality factors of movie content-related applications was the information quality factor, followed by the service quality being the next most important factor. In this study, based on the results of this study, the direction of application related to movie contents as a new distribution channel was proposed by suggesting a way to improve applications related to movie contents for the development of the domestic movie industry.
