On the Restrictions of BMO

  • Since John and Nirenberg introduced the BMO in early 1960 [JN], it has been one of the most significant function spaces. The significance of BMO lies in the fact that BMO is a limiting space of $L^p (p \longrightarrow \infty)$, or a proper substitute of $L^\infty$. A dual statement of this would be that the Hardy space $H^1$ is a proper substitute of $L^1$.

  • The waste foundry sand might be recycled in concrete, resulting in energy saving and environmental protection. An half Factorial Experiments were performed with the variables of W/C ratio, S/A, Sand/Waste foundry sand ratio and Slump as a preliminary study for optimum mix design of concrete. The results show that then W/C ratio is the most important factor to the concrete strength. The substitute of waste foundry sand up to 30% has little influence, saying that it can substitute the fine aggregate without damaging the concrete properties.

The results show that the W/C ratio is the most important factor to the concrete strength. The substitute of waste basalt up to 100% has little influence, saying that it can substitute the coarse aggregate without damaging the concrete properties.

  • The expolitation of substitute material and new manufacturing technology of the automobile body panel for next generation cars have been steadily professed by advanced automobile companies. High strength steel of TRIP (Transformation of Induced Plasticity) type is developed in response to demands about crash safety and high strength of automobile. In this study, basic technologies can fix up problems occurring on the mass production and applied to the other forming methods will be prepared through rasping a property of TRIP material.

  • To develop an artificial bone substitute that is gradually degraded and replaced by the regenerated natural bone, the authors designed a composite that is consisted of calcium phosphate and collagen. To use as the structural matrix of the composite, collagen was purified from human umbilical cord. The obtained collagen was treated by pepsin to remove telopeptides, and finally, the immune-free atel- ocollagen was produced. The cross linked atelocollagen was highly resistant to the collagenase induced collagenolysis. The cross linked collagen demonstrated an improved tensile strength.

  • 본 연구는 도시설계 및 도시개발 사업시에 사용되는 입체환지사업 전후에 관련된 구조를 설명하고 이를 향후 지리정보시스템(GIS) 구축시에 용이하게 계산할 수 있는 수리적 관계를 정립하고자 하는 것이 그 목적이다. 수리적 분석의 결과, 입체환지에 따른 공급연상면적은 다양한 독립변수에 영향을 받는데 그 중 현재의 지가, 사업전후의 지가상승률, 감보율, 용적률이 주요한 변수임이 확인되었다. 이들 중에서 현재의 지가와 지가상승률은 인위적으로 결정할 수 있는 부분이 아닌 반면, 감보율과 용적률은 인위적인 조정이 가능한 부분이다. 이는 향후 개발되는 의사결정시스템의 중심 기능으로 활용 가능한 수리적 해석으로서, 토지소유자 혹은 조합과의 합의 도출 그리고 시행자측의 사업성을 판단하는 근거를 확보할 수 있게 된다. 그 과정과 결과를 놓고 관청, 주민 등의 이해 당사자들과 사업 추진 관련한 논의를 진행할 수 있는 객관적인 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
