A Comparative Study on Mantle Communities in South Korea and Japan (남한과 일본의 임연군란 비교 연구)

  • A comparative analysis on mantle communities in South Korea and Japan was carried out. The study was accomplished by using syntaxa and hierarchical system of mantle communities in South Korea and Japan through Zurich-Montpellier School's method, and also achieved comparison on syntaxonomy, synecology, syndynamics and syngeography between two countries. Mantle communities in South Korea and Japan were defined to the Rosetea multilorae representing mantle vegetation in Northeast Asia. Mantle communities in Japan showed much diverse than those in South Korea. Mantle communities in South Korea and Japan considerably corresponded between the two. Results of the current study will make possible to accumulate qualitative $\bullet$quantitative informations on mantle communities in Northeast Asia. And the subsidiary knowledge from this study will provide practical data on comparative analysis about whole mantle communities in Northeast Asia.

  • The impulsive spin-up flow in a shallow rectangular container is analyzed numerically by quasi 3-D unsteady laminar flow. In the non-inertia coordinates, the flow is generated by the virtual forces as Coriolis force, etc.. After the boundary layers grow up near sidewalls, primary vortexes separate from the sidewalls. As the Reynolds number increases, the subsidiary vortexes take place in the boundary layer. The rigid body rotation is started from the inner region and propagated to the outer region, finally all the fluid reaches the rigid body rotation. According to the Reynolds number and the aspect ratio, the development of vortex pattern is symmetric or asymmetric.

  • 조성이 Mn$_{x}$Zn$_{1-x}$ Fe$_{2}$O$_{4}$ 훼라이트(x=0.75, 0.52)를 pusher type 연속 전기로를 이용하여 질소 분위기하에서 1360 .deg. C 로 3시간 동안 소결하여 얻어냈다. 본 연구에서는 스피넬 구조인 Mn-Zn 훼라이트의 FMR(Ferrimagnetic Resonance) 스펙트럼 특징과 초기투자율과의 상관성을 조사하고자 EPR X-band 스펙 트로미터를 이용 9.50 GHz의 microwave frequency에서 FMR 실험을 수행하였다. FMR 공명흡수선은 주 자기공명 흡 수선외에 낮은 자기장에서 약한 subsidiary 공명흡수선을 나타내는데 온도변화에 따른 주 자기공명 흡수선과 sub- sidiary 공명흡수선(제2, 제3 공명흡수선)의 세기, 공명선폭, g값 등의 온도 의존성을 연구함으로써 제2 공명흡수 선이 나타나는 원인을 분석하였으며, 자기공명 흡수선의 g값, 자기공명선 세기, 그리고 공명선폭과 초기투자율의 상관성을 연구하였다. 실험 결과 주 자기공명 흡수선의 g값, 자기공명선 세기, 공명선폭은 초기투자율 값과 밀접 한 관련이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.었다.

  • April, 2004, Korea Train Express construction project has accomplished and opened over 10 year terms of huge works. This is a case study focused on the Exterior lighting effect of new & reconstruction works at the Central station opened recently, and the lighting display process of the subsidiary facilities. The comparison with the renowned international stations would be provided for the better installation methods. And the result of case study, it will go far toward improving the Lighting display process.

  • For a recent most companies to make efficient business management, we are using a groupware service of integrated information system of the entire group. Groupware service integrates the cooperation in excellent synergy and duplicates has been business functions of the business, through the improvement of multi-purpose business processing capacity, there is an advantage of reduced operating costs. However, if the parent company and subsidiary, or to handle common tasks such information agency, which may cause differences in the format of the data passed in the case of a need to provide a document. Therefore, in this paper, in order to solve the heterogeneity problem in data between groups, the data system of the hub base of the cloud is provided. The proposed system is intended to improve the groupware environment including the interoperability of integrated standardized environmental data sharing service.

  • The characteristics of a PZT transducer with a cylindrical rear surface were investigated theoretically and experimentally. The transducer was assumed as a set of finite rectangular ceramic elements for applying the staircase model to the theoretical analysis and the KLM equivalent circuit model was modified for analyzing its electric impedance and pulse-echo response. All results were compared with those of a conventional plane transducer which has a constant thickness of average value for the cylindrical arc. It was noted that the transducer with a cylindrical rear surface has several subsidiary resonant frequencies which are able to widen bandwidth.

  • In estimating the fatigue data, only the uniform safety rate has been applied so far However, since more reasonable design concepts such as machine structures or subsidiary materials will be required in the future, the importance of a statistical estimation method for fatigue data is being highlighted. With such basic conception in mind, this study was aimed at critically discussing the interval estimation method which has been applied using the classical statistics thus far It was conceived that this conventional method would result in the estimation of the unstable side from the viewpoint of the likelihood Interval estimation method. In this regard, this study aimed at estimating the fatigue strength through the likelihood interval estimation method comparing it with the conventional interval estimation method would result in the estimation of the unstable side from the viewpoint of the likelihood interval estimation method. One of the methods using the likelihood for estimation data is the Bayes method. Based on this theory, statistical estimations were positivly applied, and thereupon, the fatigue data were estimated.

  • Steel frame construction is divided into subsidiary materials with column, beam, girder and bracing. After these are processed in factory for using installing in construction field. These prefabricated furniture is very important in accordance with design drawing about processing and prefabricating. In the case of design process using information transmission in blueprint, omission of material number, processing measure and finishing material, or discordance of each structure drawing and selecting incongruent structural material generated an error in the process of design. These error caused delaying time and increasing cost and increasing safety accident in the steel-structure work operating process. therefore, design process should consider problem of operating process.

  • PURPOSES: This paper presents the results of computer simulations of roadside safety barrier, called by safety roller guardrail, consisting of rotational roller, rotation control plate, post and subsidiary members. The rotation roller and rotation control plate are made by EVA(ethylene vinyl acetate), and PE(polyester), respectively. METHODS: The occupant risk analysis has been carried out under vehicle crash condition for high containment level of SB-4 for the purpose of local road. Simulations are performed with the finite element code LS/DYNA-3D. RESULTS: The numerical results obtained by LS/DYNA-3D software from the viewpoints of vehicle stability, vehicle trajectory, occupant risk, etc. CONCLUSIONS: It is noted that not only impact severity is drastically reduced but also vehicle trajectory is improved due to the characteristics of energy absorption and rotation pattern of EVA rollers connected by control plates.
