Methods: An interview survey using structured questionaries was done on 180 senior citizens older than 65 years old residing in some areas of Gyeonggi-do from April 19 to May 25, 2018. The data was analyzed with Chi-square, t-test, spearman correlation coefficient with the use of SPSS 20.0. Results: 1. Those who are older than 75 years old and have higher levels of education and finance have more experiences of oral health education. 2. Those who have experiences of oral health education brush their teeth more than three times a day, use more oral health care items and get more regular preventive treatments such as oral examination and scaling. 3. As they has experiences of oral health education, their oral health behaviors, oral health care self-efficacy(tooth care, dietary control, regular checkup) and subjective oral health levels are high. Conclusion: It is necessary to try to improve the elderly's oral health levels by motivating the importance of oral health care and changing their oral health behaviors positively with the implement of oral health education on the elderly. Especially, oral health education programs that are operated on the elderly should be planned with practical programs that can cause the change of their oral health behaviors and should be processed to reinforce oral health care self-efficacy. Furthermore, preventive treatments for the elderly such as oral health education, oral examination and scaling should be implemented systematically and continuously by policy.

  • The object of this study was to survey the relationship between emotional self-support and the level of subjective health recognition of participators in the self support program. The health condition which is recognized subjectively by participators could affect the participation motive and the attitude to the program, and could be connected to the achievement of self-support. Therefore I tried to survey the implications and the relationship between emotional self-support and the level of subjective health recognition in terms of progress for the economic self-support. The objectives were self-support program participators in Wonju, and 127 questionaries were collected. The results of this study were as followings; First, there was the positive relationship between emotional self-support and the level of subjective health recognition. Second, the participation period in the self-support program affected emotional self-support and the level of subjective health recognition negatively, and the affects of the ages were meaningless. The suggestion of this study is that the level of emotional self-support and subjective health recognition could be developed if the emotional and psychological program is developed which makes the conditional pensioners perceive the living attitude and the thoughts to the works positively.

  • Objectives: The purposes of this study were to comprehend the subjective dental health status and the level of dental health knowledge in some middle school students and to analyze the correlation with dental health behaviors. Methods: A survey was conducted in some middle school students and the final 637 survey data were analysed. As the statistical analysis methods, the subjective dental health status, dental health knowledge and dental health behaviors according to the general characteristics were analyzed by independent t-test, one way ANOVA and Scheffe. The correlations among the subjective dental health status, dental health knowledge and dental health behavior were found by Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: Through correlation analysis of the subjective dental health status, dental health knowledge and dental health behavior, all showed a significant correlation. As a result of the factor analysis affecting dental behaviors, subjective dental health status was the highest (${\beta}=0.304$, p<0.001). Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that the improvement of subjective dental health status and dental health knowledge related to dental behaviors health in the middle school students should be considered. In addition, dental health education should focus on improving subjective dental health status through motivation rather than knowledge transfer training. Moreover, development programs appropriate for the middle school students whose behavioral changes are hard to obtain are needed.

As the number of strength training days per week increased, the level of stress perception was lower (p<.001). The subjects' subjective health status was found to have a negative effect on their usual stress perception (β=-.759), subjective body shape (β=.111), age (β=.421), and number of days walking per week. (β=.968). Based on this study, it is intended to provide basic data for preparing programs to help improve stress perception and subjective health status in the future.

The VDT occupation group was mainly composed of the worker in banks, telephone companies, and general offices. The VDT-related hobby group was composed of high school students, and Internet cafe users. A questionnaire survey was conducted to classify the subjects according to hours of computer usage. The results indicated that the occupation group represented a higher level of subjective symptoms than VDT-related hobby group. In the VDT occupation group, 'Poor body condition', 'Feeling uncomfortable or pain in the neck', 'Feeling uncomfortable or pain in the back', 'Feeling stressed out', and 'Feeling uncomfortable or pain in the shoulder' items indicated a high level of subjective symptoms. In the VDT-related hobby group, 'Feeling uncomfortable or pain in the neck', and 'Feeling uncomfortable or pain in the back' items indicated a high level of subjective symptoms. According to the hours of computer usage, 4-6 hours and 6 hours or more groups represented a higher level of subjective symptoms than 2-4 hours group. These findings suggest that Visual display terminal (VDT) work effects the individual's health conditions.

There were significant differences in the level of physical activity by age, spouse, education, job, admission, duration of DM, and DM therapy. There were significant differences in subjective health status, objective and subjective obesity, satisfaction with physical body, perception of aging, self-efficacy, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, and social support among the inactive, minimally active, and health enhancing physical activity groups. Factors influencing the level of health enhancing physical activity were spouse (OR=10.192), self-efficacy (OR=5.351), subjective obesity (OR=.114), and perceived barriers (OR=.069).
