Marriage Migrant Women's Gender Role Attitude and Perceptions of Domestic Violence (결혼이주여성의 성역할태도와 가정폭력에 대한 인식)

  • This study is a descriptive research study to understand the degree of perception of gender role attitudes and domestic violence targeting marriage migrant women. The subjects of this study were 371 married migrant women residing in area J from October 4 to December 20, 2019. Data analysis was statistically processed using SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. As a result of this study, the subject's gender role attitude was found to be an average of 2.05 points out of 4 points. The subject's perception of domestic violence was an average of 2.02 out of 4 points. There were statistically significant differences in gender role attitude according to the general characteristics of the subjects in terms of domestic residence period, education level, nationality, average monthly income, and the use of international marriage brokers. There were statistically significant differences in perception of domestic violence according to the general characteristics of the subjects in terms of age, education level, nationality, and whether they were married. Based on these findings, it is hoped that the foundation for preventing and solving domestic violence in multicultural families can be laid through awareness education and publicity on domestic violence.

A Case Study of Educational Effectiveness by Software Subjects for Humanities College Students

  • Recently, the topics of SW liberal-arts education are diversifying, from 'Computational Thinking(CT)' to 'Programming, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence(AI)' in universities. We expect that the diversification of SW liberal-arts subjects does not just mean that the learning contents are different, but also differentiates the educational goals and educational effects of each subject. In this paper, we conducted a case study to analyze the educational effect according to the educational goals of two SW liberal-arts subjects, CT and Data Analysis Fundamentals(DA), for humanities college students. We confirmed that the educational effect of 'CT Efficacy' increased significantly in accordance with the common educational goal of 'Improving CT-based SW convergence competency' in both subjects. However, we also analyzed the difference in the educational effects of 'CT(the goal of basic SW education)' and 'DA(the goal of major-friendly SW education)', which have different subject goals. 'CT' mainly showed an educational effect on how to solve general daily problems, and 'DA' showed confidence in how to solve major problems along with general problems.

  • This study is a study on the perceptions of pre-primary early childhood teachers on teaching and learning methods for infants and toddlers in the early childhood teacher training process. This is a mixed study using word cloud analysis and qualitative case analysis on the subject, focusing on literature research and understanding of pre-primary early childhood teachers' 'teaching and learning methods for infants and toddlers'. The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning of a early childhood teacher through thoughts on teaching and learning methods for infants, difficulties, points to be learned, teaching competency to be good as a teacher, and experiences for teaching professionalism. Through the results of this study, it is expected to find a way to increase their sense of efficacy on teaching and learning methods when conducting classes for young children in the future, and to provide basic data for improving the quality of early childhood education.

Development and Validation of Yut-nori Program using Educational Programming Language (EPL) based on Computational Thinking (컴퓨팅 사고력 기반 교육용 프로그래밍 언어(EPL) 활용 윷놀이 프로그램 개발 및 타당성 검증)

  • In Korea, software education is implemented from elementary school. As a representative software education tool for elementary schools, various chess games reconstructed based on the rules of Western chess games are being used. On the other hand, Yutnori, one of our traditional games, also includes elements of software education, so research on this is needed. Therefore, in this study, a Yutnori program based on computational thinking using an educational programming language, Entry, and a turtle robot was developed and its validity verified. As a result of the validity verification, the CVR value was higher than 0.7 in the degree of agreement with the subject achievement standard (3 questions), the appropriateness of learning materials (4 questions), and the possibility of class application (3 questions). Therefore, it could be judged that the learning program developed in this study has a high level of agreement with the subject achievement standards, appropriate learning materials, and high possibility of being applied to classes. In order to generalize this content in the future, the effectiveness will need to be verified, and experimental research will be needed to understand this.

Effect of Underwater Search Method Using Rope on Life Rescue Time (로프를 이용한 수중수색 방법이 인명구조 시간에 미치는영향)

  • This study was limited to the underwater search part among water accidents on the inland water surface, and analyzed five underwater search methods and lifesaving time at 5m underwater. The subjects of the experiment were 10 people. The semi-circle search took the longest with 259 seconds, and the modified round-trip search took 78.60 seconds, showing a significant difference with an average of 180.04 seconds. Subjects B and D showed similar values, with average underwater search times of 199 seconds and 202 seconds, respectively. Subject C showed a significantly higher average underwater search time of 209 seconds. The reason seems to be from increased anxiety and excessive tension due to poor underwater watch. Subject A showed a significantly lower underwater search time of 187 seconds. The reason seems to be the result of E's experience being the most among the test subjects and his rich diving experience in the Han River with poor visibility. As for convenience, semicircle search showed a low score of 6~7, and modified reciprocal search showed a high score of 8~9. The most suitable rescue method as an underwater search method in the Han River where visibility is poor is determined to be a modified round-trip search method.

Factors in Managing Hyperlipidemia in Middle-aged Adults (중년기성인의 고지혈증관리 요인)

  • This study was attempted to identify factors for managing hyperlipidemia in middle-aged adults. The research method is a secondary analysis study analyzing the 2018 data from the Korean Medical Panel Survey. The subjects of the study were 622 adults aged between 40 and 65 who were diagnosed with hyperlipidemia. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a correlation between the level of education and the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia management (𝒳2= 7.285, p = .026), and that there was a correlation between the subject's subjective health status and the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia management (𝒳2= 7.295, p =.026). Middle age is a time when the physical aging process begins in earnest, and there is a high possibility of developing chronic diseases, and hyperlipidemia is an early disease that causes chronic diseases. Accordingly, active health management is necessary, and in particular, the development of differentiated programs for hyperlipidemia management tailored to the subject's education level and health status is required.

Effects of Linguistic Immersion Synthesis on Foreign Language Learning Using Virtual Reality Agents (가상현실 에이전트 외국어 교사를 활용한 외국어 학습의 몰입 융합 효과)

  • This study investigates the effectiveness of virtual reality agents as foreign language instructors with focus on the impact of different native language backgrounds and instructional roles. The agents were first distinguished as native or non-native speakers treated as a between-subject factor, and then assigned roles as either teachers or salespersons considered within-subject factors. An immersive virtual environment was developed for this experiment, and a 2×2 mixed factorial design was carried out. In an experimental group of 72 university students, statistically significant interactions were found in learning satisfaction, memory, and recall between the native/non-native status of the agents and their roles. With regard to learning confidence and presence, however, no statistically significant differences were observed in both interaction effects and main effects. Contextual learning in a virtual environment was found to enhance learning effectiveness and satisfaction, with the nativeness and the role of agents influencing learners' memory; thus highlighting the effectiveness of using virtual reality agents in foreign language learning. This suggests that varied approaches can have positive cognitive and emotional impacts on learners, thereby providing valuable theoretical and empirical implications.

A Study on The Self-identity in Role-playing Games - Focused on Lacan's Psychoanalysis (롤플레잉 게임에서의 자아 정체성에 관한 연구 - 라캉의 정신분석학을 중심으로)

  • As today's "ninth art", role-playing games recognized by most players due to their surreal themes and sustained reflection on social diseases. Through precise control of story-telling and game visuals, players develop an avatar identification during role-playing game. Based on Lacan's mirror stage theory, a new self-identity mechanism is established under the guidance of role-playing games. As a "player", the subject's interpretation of himself is shifted by the game order, and the subject identifies with the role-playing game while at the same time being structured by the desire of role-playing game. The immersive experience and emotional guidance of role-playing games all point to the most instinctive human desires. The psychoanalytic theory from Lacan's perspective explains the source of players' desire, and the expression of players' desire in the game. It also plays an important role in the emotional rendering and identity aspects of role-playing games. This paper is to establish that role-playing games do have an impact on the player's self-identity through a Lacanian psychoanalytic reading of role-playing games.

Research Trends of Korean Journals on Sex Education for Young Children·Elementary School Students·Middle School Students (유아·초등·중등 학생의 성교육 국내 학술지 연구 동향)

  • The purpose The purpose of this study was to compare and observe research trends of sex education for young children·elementary school students·middle school students, provide base material for research on sex education, and present research prospects and tasks for the future. For this, 30 theses from Korean journals related to sex education for young children·elementary school students·middle school students from years 2000 to 2019 were extracted and analysis was conducted on the general trends (by research period and by academic field) of sex education and they were categorized by research topic, by research subject, and by research method. Research results showed that, with research period, research increased in the mid-2000s and with journal trends by research subject, and was published in 24 journals. Second, with regard to research topic aspects, most studies looked into 'sex education perceptions and conditions' and research dealing with 'gender concept development' and 'program development and teaching method strategies' also increased. Third, in terms of the research subjects, there were 9 papers for children, 6 papers for elementary students, 14 papers for middle school students, 2 for high school students, and 9 papers for teachers and parents. Fourth, with trends according to research methods, the quantitative research method of 'questionnaires' was used most and following were 'literary studies' and 'interviews', in that order. Reflecting these research results, discussions were presented and proposals for future studies were made.

Developing Measurement of Problem-Based Learning Effectiveness: Applying Rasch Analysis (문제중심학습 (Problem-Based Learning) 효과 측정 도구 개발: Rasch 분석을 중심으로)

  • Problem-Based Learning is the most commonly used teaching method in the field of education as the demand for talented people with creative problem-solving abilities has increased in recent society. In this study, we developed a tool that can simply and regularly measure the learning effects of applying Problem-Based Learning on the classroom. Twenty-two preliminary items for the development were constructed by gathering expert opinions about items collected in existing research of Problem-Based Learning effects measurement. Using this preliminary items, data were collected from 124 students who took the subject-based study. And the validity and reliability were verified through Rash analysis. 11 of 124 students and 1 of 22 items were found to nonconforming and excluded. In addition, the optimal scale for the configuration of this tool was found to be a four-point scale, and the reliability of separation on the subject and the item was found to be excellent. We hope that the assessment tools of Problem-Based Learning effectiveness developed in this study will be actively used to measure learning effectiveness and manage the quality of education.
