The Design of SNMP SubManager Model Considering Characteristic of Network Traffics (Network 부하 특성을 고려한 SNMP SubManager Model 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 SNMP를 이용한 Nerwork Management System(NMS)이 Network을 사용하는 Application에 영향을 주지 않도록 하는 Polling 전략과 Model을 설계하였다. 제안된 System은 Network의 각 Client 정보를 처리하는 Agent와 Data 수집 및 제어를 담당하는 Server로 구성된다. Agent는 SNMP Agent 부분과 Network 상태를 Monitoring 하는 SubManager로 구성되어, Server는 SNMP Agent와의 Polling 및 Polling 정책을 결정하는 부분으로 구성된다. 제안 Model은 SNMP를 이용한 NMS를 도입할 경우, 기존 Network Service에 영향을 주지 않도록 하는 것이 목적이다. 제안된 System에 대한 성능평가를 위해 실존하는 Network을 대상으로 SNMP의 Polling 및 Service의 부하량을 측정하였다.

Retrieval of Sulfur Dioxide Column Density from TROPOMI Using the Principle Component Analysis Method (주성분분석방법을 이용한 TROPOMI로부터 이산화황 칼럼농도 산출 연구)

  • We, for the first time, retrieved sulfur dioxide (SO2) vertical column density (VCD) in industrial and volcanic areas from TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument (TROPOMI) using the Principle component analysis(PCA) algorithm. Furthermore, SO2 VCDs retrieved by the PCA algorithm from TROPOMI raw data were compared with those retrieved by the Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) algorithm (TROPOMI Level 2 SO2 product). In East Asia, where large amounts of SO2 are released to the surface due to anthropogenic source such as fossil fuels, the mean value of SO2 VCD retrieved by the PCA (DOAS) algorithm was shown to be 0.05 DU (-0.02 DU). The correlation between SO2 VCD retrieved by the PCA algorithm and those retrieved by the DOAS algorithm were shown to be low (slope = 0.64; correlation coefficient (R) = 0.51) for cloudy condition. However, with cloud fraction of less than 0.5, the slope and correlation coefficient between the two outputs were increased to 0.68 and 0.61, respectively. It means that the SO2 retrieval sensitivity to surface is reduced when the cloud fraction is high in both algorithms. Furthermore, the correlation between volcanic SO2 VCD retrieved by the PCA algorithm and those retrieved by the DOAS algorithm is shown to be high (R = 0.90) for cloudy condition. This good agreement between both data sets for volcanic SO2 is thought to be due to the higher accuracy of the satellite-based SO2 VCD retrieval for SO2 which is mainly distributed in the upper troposphere or lower stratosphere in volcanic region.

  • In this study, to develop the low temperature sintering ceramics for piezoelectric transformer, PSN-PNN-PZT system ceramics were manufactured as a function of V$_2$O$_{5}$ addition, that is the low melting point oxide. Its dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics were investigated. With increasing the amount of V$_2$O$_{5}$ addition, electromechanical coupling factor(kp) and mechanical quality factor(Qm) were decreased. For piezoelectric transformer application, the 0.1wt% V$_2$O$_{5}$ added specimen sintered at 1,00$0^{\circ}C$ showed the proper value of $\varepsilon$r=1,590, kp=0.51 and Qm=748.m=748.

  • Suitable compositions which are sinterable at low temperature in the $BaO-B_{2}O_{3}-ZnO$ glass system were investigated as a function of the ratio between BaO and ZnO. The effect of $Al_{2}O_3$ filler on densification and physical characteristics of the glass was also examined. When the amount of $Al_{2}O_3$ filler increased, the densification rate and the values of dielectric constant, thermal expansion coefficient and hardness in the glass-filler composites decreased gradually. The decreasing rate of the physical properties accelerated when fine $Al_{2}O_3$ filler was used. However, the fracture toughness of the composite rather increased due to the existence of filler particles and pores which effectively suppressed crack propagation with addition of fine $Al_{2}O_3$ filler.

  • In competitive electricity markets, the System Operator (SO) coordinates the overall maintenance schedules when the collective maintenance schedule reported to 50 by Gencos not satisfy the specified operating criteria, such as system reliability or supply adequacy. This paper presented a method that divides generator maintenance scheduling of the 50 into a master-problem and a sub-problem. Master-problem is schedule coordination and sub-problem is DC-optimal power flow. If sub-problem is infeasible, we use the algorithm of modifying operating criteria of master-problem. And, the 50 should use the open information only, because the information such as cost function of a generator and bidding Price is highly crucial for the strategies of profit maximization.

  • Performance of naturally circulating cooling system of $SF_6$ gas charged transformer was simulated and the variations of gas flow rate, maximum coil temperature, gas temperature and cooling air temperature were investigated with respect to the height of radiator, interplates distance and heat generation rate at core. The results show that the height of radiator most significantly affects the performance of natural circulating cooling system of transformer.

  • This paper presents controller design method for nonlinear radar gimbal system with parameter uncertainty and time delay. In order to consider nonlinearity of gimbal bearing frictional torque, we firstly represent fuzzy model for the nonlinear gimbal system, which is achieved by fuzzy combination of linear models through nonlinear fuzzy membership functions. And secondly we propose a delay dependent fuzzy $H_\infty$ controller design method for the delayed fuzzy model with parameter uncertainty and design radar gimbal controller. The designed controller stabilize gimbal system and guarantee $H_\infty$ performance. A computer simulation is given to illustrate stabilized control performances of the designed controller.

  • Recently, the development of alternative energy technologies has been actively conducted for energy conservation and CO2 emission reduction. Especially, photovoltaic energy has been applied practically in construction industry, and research on the building-integrated photovoltaic system (BIPV) that can replace fossil fuel for building operation and maintenance has been performed. However, this vibrant research has been limited to the use phase of buildings, and few studies have been carried out in the construction phase. The construction duration and the scale of the sites have increased along with the high-rise trend of buildings, and it is forecasted that the temporary electricity use and CO2 emission in the construction phase is increasing. In sight of these developments, this research analyzed applicability of the photovoltaic system for the construction phase that can replace the electricity used on the high-rise construction site.

  • This paper considers the problem of sampled-data control for continuous linear parameter varying (LPV) systems. It is assumed that the sampling periods are arbitrarily varying but bounded. Based on the input delay approach, the sampled-data control LPV system is transformed into a continuous time-delay LPV system. Some less conservative stabilization results represented by LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) are obtained by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and the reciprocally combination approach. The proposed method for the designed gain matrix should guarantee asymptotic stability and a specified level of performance on the closed-loop hybrid system. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and the improvement of the proposed method.

Photochemical Degradation of Dimethyl Phthalate by Fe(III)/tartrate/H2O2 System

  • Photochemical degradation of dimethyl phthalate (DMP) in Fe(III)/tartrate/$H_2O_2$ system was investigated utilizing fluorescent lamps as the primary light source. Effects of initial pH, light source, and initial concentration of each reactant on DMP photodegradation was examined. The results show that the system was able to effectively photodegrade DMP utilizing visible light. Fluorescent lamp, halide lamp, UV lamp and sunlight could all be used as the light sources. The optimal pH ranged among 3.0-4.0 for the system. Increases of the initial concentrations of Fe(III) and $H_2O_2$ accelerated the photodegradation of DMP, whereas excessively high initial tartrate concentration resulted in the decrease of photodegradation efficiency and rate of DMP.
