나이프 코팅 법으로 제작한 ITO-Free 고전도성 PEDOT:PSS 양극 대면적 유연 OLED 소자 제작에 관한 연구 (Indium Tin Oxide-Free Large-Area Flexible Organic Light-Emitting Diodes Utilizing Highly Conductive poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) Anode Fabricated by the Knife Coating Method)

  • This paper reports solution-processed, high-efficiency organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) fabricated by a knife coating method under ambient air conditions. In addition, indium tin oxide (ITO), traditionally used as the anode, was substituted by optimizing the conductivity enhancement treatment of poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) films on a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate. The transmittance and sheet resistance of the optimized PEDOT:PSS anode were 83.4% and $27.8{\Omega}/sq$., respectively. The root mean square surface roughness of the PEDOT:PSS anode, measured by atomic force microscopy, was only 2.95 nm. The optimized OLED device showed a maximum current efficiency and maximum luminous density of 5.44 cd/A and $8,356cd/m^2$, respectively. As a result, the OLEDs created using the PEDOT:PSS anode possessed highly comparable characteristics to those created using ITO anodes.

  • 최근 지구의 온난화를 가속시키고 있는 온실가스(Greenhouse gas)가운데 하나인 $CO_2$와 Styrene Oxide를 Methylene chloride에서 Zinc Glutarate를 촉매로 하여 800-1000ps1, $75^{\circ}C$에서 반응시켜 Poly(styrenecarbonate)(PSC)를 합성하였다. 합성된 고분자는 FT-IR과 H-NMR, C-NUR로 분석하였다.

Nanofiller as Vulcanizing Aid for Styrene-Butadiene Elastomer

  • The use of ZnO and stearic acid is very well known in sulfenamide accelerated sulfur vulcanization of diene elastomers. Zn-ion coated nano filler has been developed and tested, in styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) as sulfur vulcanizing activator cum reinforcing filler. In this study Zinc oxide has been replaced by the Zn-ion coated nano silica filler with an aim to study the dual role of this nanofiller in SBR. The presence of Zn-ion on the nano silica filler surface activates the sulfur vulcanization by involving Zn++ in to the sulfurating complex formed with thiazole from sulfenamide. The increase of Zn-ion, on the nanofiller, decrease the scorch safety of the elastomer compound but increase the tensile strength, state of cure and tear strength and attain maximum at its 10% level. The presence of stearic acid increases the rate of vulcanization. Replacement of stearic acid with mono-stearate, however, increases the vulcanization rate but decrease the ultimate state of cure. A mechanistic scheme involving dual function of this nanofiller has been suggested.

Effect of the Hydrophobicity of Hybrid Gate Dielectrics on a ZnO Thin Film Transistor

  • Zinc oxide (ZnO) bottom-contact thin-film transistors (TFTs) were prepared by the use of injector type atomic layer deposition. Two hybrid gate oxide systems of different polarity polymers with silicon oxide were examined with the aim of improving the properties of the transistors. The mobility and threshold voltage of a ZnO TFT with a poly(4-dimethylsilyl styrene) (Si-PS)/silicon oxide hybrid gate dielectric had values of 0.41 $cm^2/Vs$ and 24.4 V, and for polyimide/silicon oxide these values were 0.41 $cm^2/Vs$ and 24.4 V, respectively. The good hysteresis property was obtained with the dielectric of hydrophobicity. The solid output saturation behavior of ZnO TFTs was demonstrated with a $10^6$ on-off ratio.

산화철 폐촉매로부터 합성된 NiZn- 페라이트의 자기적 특성 (Magnetic Properties of NiZn-ferrite Synthesized from Waste Iron Oxide Catalyst)

  • 석유화학 공정 중 Styrene(SM) 공정에서 발생되는 산화철 폐촉매는 산업 폐기물로서 전량 매립되고 있는데, 이를 출발 원료로 사용하여 NiZn-페라이트를 합성하였고 그 자기적 특성을 조사하였다. 산화철 폐축매 펠렛을 분쇄한 후 NiO 및 ZnO를 혼합하여 90$0^{\circ}C$에서 하소하고 123$0^{\circ}C$에서 5시간 소결하여 스핀넬형 페라이트 소결체를 얻었다. N $i_{x}$ Z $n_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_4$(x=0.36, 0.50, 0.66)조성에 대하여 초투자율을 측정하였고, S-parameter를 측정하여 반사 감쇄량을 계산하였다. 산화철 폐촉매를 이용하여 X-band 주파수 영역에서 높은 전자파 흡수능을 갖는 전파흡수체를 제조할 수 있음을 확인하였다.다.

산화철 페촉매를 애용한 NiZn-페라이트의 합성 (Synthesis of NiZn-Ferrite from Waste Iron Oxide Catalyst)

  • NiZn-ferrite was synthesized usign waste iron oxide catalysts which were produced from styrene monomer process and buried underground as an industrial wastes. The spinel type ferrite was obtained by calcination and sintering of the mixture of finely ground waste catalysts, nickel oxide and zinc oxide powders. The sintered body of Ni/sub 0.5/Zn/sub 0.5/Fe₂O₄ composition at 1230℃ for 5 hours showed the density of 5.38g/㎤, and initial permeability of 59 at 1 kHz. Not only cerium oxide, which existed as a major component in the catalyst, but also unicorporated NiO and ZnO into spinel structure remained as second phases after sintering.

무세포 단백질합성 시스템 기반의 epoxide hydrolase 발현 및 활성 분석 (Assay of Epoxide Hydrolase Activity Based on PCR-linked in vitro Coupled Transcription and Translation System.)

  • Coupled transcription/translation cocktail을 이용하여 R. glutinis EH 유전자를 in vitro에서 합성하고 활성을 평가하였다. SDS-PAGE 및 immunoblotting을 통하여 45 kDa 크기의 EH 단백질이 발현되었음을 확인하였고, NBP assay 및 chiral GC 분석을 통해 발현된 단백질이 (R)-styrene oxide에 대한 입체선택성이 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 무세포 단백질 합성 시스템을 이용하여 입체선택성을 유지시킨 EH 유전자 발현이 가능하며, 이러한 방법은 putative EH 유전자 탐색 등에 효율적으로 응용될 것이다.
